@Hwang Woolim Hearing something bang against the glass next to him causing him to jump. Looking over to the window with wide eyes to see his Woolim waving at him. Letting out an annoyed and relieved sigh, as he gave her a small wave shaking his head, trying to recover from his scare. Waiting in his seat for her to enter the cafe as he leaned back in his seat, knowing she would only more if he didn't relax himself when she came in. Looking over to her when she arrived, "about time. And scaring me was rude."

@Woo Jiho [this is fine~]

Woolim hoped to get to the cafe before Jiho could but ended up having some complications on her way there. Several times she had forgotten her stuff before leaving her apartment. To top it all off, a lot of people were on the sidewalk. She would become trapped between slow-walking people. "AGH, Jiho is going to be alone, and I'm not there to help him out! I'm such a bad friend!" Woolim muttered under her breath as she fast-walked as much as her tiny legs could carry her. Seeing the cafe in sight, Woolim's eyes darted around the outside to see if she could spot him. She noticed him through the window, and a wide grin spread across her lips as she ran to the cafe and slammed her body against the window next to where Jiho sat. She excitedly waved to him through the glass.

@Hwang Woolim Reading his text message before looking up at the sign above the shop, making sure he was at the right location. He was glad he found it rather easily, thanks to the instructions his friend had sent him. With a small smile he enter the cafe, looking around had he wondered if she was already waiting inside. Feeling a bit awkward that he was rolling around his suitcase with him, but it was something that couldn't be helped. He didn't know where the real estate office was, which was why he was waiting for his friend, having been living in the city for a while. Not seeing her right away, Jiho had decided to ask for a table close enough to the entrance so they would see each other easily. Choosing to wait on ordering, he preferred when they ordered together that ordering at separate time.

(There was no subway, train or airport... I hope this is alright)

@Jeon Jungkook [It's alright! ^^]

Jaehyung bit his lower lip to stop a laugh from coming out, but he couldn't help the chuckle that escaped and the smile that came right after. What was that? He covered his mouth with the back of his hand, looking at the smaller as he turned his smile into an apologetic one. "Sorry, sorry," he said, and he cleared his throat quietly. Goddamn it, that pun made him want to burst into laughter with how the boy casually spoke of it. He probably would have just made a face because of it, but he blamed his lack of sleep for how childish and out of it he might be for the rest of the day.

He blinked repeatedly, trying to push away the sleepiness. He hoped he didn't seem... like a mess (well, was that even new. A messy Jae was the normal Jae), but he doubted that with how late he slept last night (or should he say, early - like legit early - morning?) and how early he woke up today (because goddamn it, body clock). He could feel a yawn coming in, but he tried to stifle it in. He didn't want to make an unsightly face in front of the boy, who, even in the sleepiest depths of his brain, Jae thought was still cute, but with how young he looked like, it felt like he was being a pedo. (Why did he have to be 25 already?)

"Park-- You can put Jae on it," Jaehyung answered, realizing that he was taking quite long for just telling his name. He almost said his full name for some reason. 'Jae,' he thought to himself, a tinge of red spreading across his cheeks, 'you need to sleep.' He opened his wallet and handed the male the amount of money that was needed.

@Park Jaehyung [[Sorry I disappeared for ages. Shall we continue?]]

Jungkook had never seen this customer in here before. He was positive that he would have remembered such a cute face. This guy must not have been a regular, or he just never came in during the time Jungkook was working. (This was only a part-time job for Jungkook, so it was possible. He only worked a few days of the week.)

Said cute guy walked up to the counter, his eyes on the menu board. "Hello," Jungkook said. He was usually fairly good at following the standard: "Welcome to Whole Latte Love. What could I do to perk up your day?" greetings, but he thought that sounded stupid, so he couldn't say it to someone so cute. He didn't want to sound like an idiot. Instead, he left it at a simple 'hello' and waited for the boy to say something.

"Lattes are our specialty," Jungkook chimed with a smile as he punched it into the register. He felt the need to say something else, so he added the ridiculous slogan that the company owner had come up with: "Each one is prepared a Whole Latte Love." That...probably wasn't a smart move. It sounded like Jungkook was trying to flirt (he was trying to flirt, he just wanted to seem better at it than randomly throwing out punny slogans that business owners came up with).

"Can I get a name for that order?" Jungkook asked, hoping that the customer was done ordering. His cheeks were singed with embarrassment from his failed flirting attempt, and he needed to end the sale before he had the chance to say anything else stupid.

@Jeon Jungkook Jaehyung was feeling lazy since the moment he woke up.

That wasn't good, obviously. Not only did he have commisions to finish which were due this week, he had yet to record another video for his channel. He couldn't exactly upload speedpaints as he'd been having what one would call an 'artist's block'—(it's not laziness, really.) He was already done with editing his vlogs, all of which were scheduled to be uploaded at scheduled times. Still, though, he wasn't the type who could sit still doing nothing, when he could be doing something.

Clearly, this wasn't the kind of thing he should be thinking of first thing in the morning. He needed coffee, and instead of making himself a cup of it, he decided to go out. Maybe a fresh breath of air would help him clear his mind of all the things he was thinking of. He wanted—needed—a break, and one day was enough, he supposed.

He walked inside the cafe, the delicious aroma quickly going through his nostrils. He inhaled and exhaled, pleased. He ran a hand through his hair, messing it up a bit and nudged his glasses up his nose. He was wearing casual clothing, not as stylish as he normally wore, and it was extremely comfortable. His eyes went to the counter, and he didn't know whether to be surprised to see someone cute working at a cafe (wasn't that quite common in fictional stories?).

He walked toward the counter, looking up at the menu, and then he turned back to the seemingly younger boy. "One Latte, please," he said, taking his wallet out. He noted in the back of his mind that the younger (Jaehyung hoped that he really was younger. No boy should look this young if they're half a fifty) reminded him of a bunny.

@Park Jaehyung Jungkook hated this job when he first started. (He wanted to be a performer, not a barrister, and he just knew that he would become too good for this place one day) After one week, he was tired of the smell of coffee—he couldn’t even bring himself to drink it in his free time. He hated standing on his feet for long hours, and he hated customers, always cranky before their daily or more dosage of coffee.

After two months, it wasn’t so bad. Jungkook got used to burning himself on coffee pots and boiling water. He learned the different types of coffees and teas just by their smell. And he even learned that the customers were a lot less cranky when he was a familiar face who remembered their order. It became a second home, and Jungkook decided he wouldn’t mind working here if his plans fell through and he couldn’t make it to be an entertainer.

There were customers that Jungkook recognized because they came here in what could only be considered way more than a healthy amount, and there were always new faces. Perhaps that was his favorite part of the job—the familiarity mixed with the novelty.

“One black coffee for Miss Lim,” Jungkook said as he placed a lid on the cup and handed it to the elderly regular across the counter. “No sugars or creams. Just black like your soul.” Jungkook always repeated those words to this particular customer because that was how she always ordered it. “Enjoy, ma’am.” He added with a soft smile.

As he turned back to the register, he noticed a cute boy in the cafe—a customer who had yet to be served. He glanced around for his co-worker, hoping she would still be around but she was already on break. Which meant that Jungkook would be taking care of said customer. Which mean that he was definitely going to make a fool of himself. Talking to cute boys wasn’t exactly the same as talking to elderly women—which he discovered he was exceptional at after working here long enough.
