It could be.
But things around here improve sometimes.
Maybe we’ll have gormet meals someday.
//laughs softly

@Cha Hakyeon ☧ *nods a little*
It—can’t be worse than the food at school.
*sighs softly, now realising that I’ll be stuck eating such poor quality food for the rest of my life maybe*

I'm used to it by now, but yes.
You will probably hate it.

@Cha Hakyeon ☧ *nods a little and follows you back*
I bet the food is terrible.

Nothing here is homey at first.

I was hoping for something a little more...homey?

And this is the common room. It's where the guys gather at different times during the day.
If you want to meet people, this would be the place to do it.

No, you probably wouldn't.
If you even asked for them once a day, the guards would get suspicious that you were using them for other purposes.

@Cha Hakyeon ☧ No thanks.

I don’t think I’d even be allowed to use the cleaning supplies that often.

If you want it to stay like this, you'll have to clean them every day.

They were just cleaned.

There are no bugs in our showers.
We're responsible for keeping this place clean.

@Cha Hakyeon ☧ *frowns a little and looks at you*
There aren't bugs in here, are there?

@Jeon Jungkook ☧ //leads you to the area where the showers are
And this is where you will shower.
The building has decent water heating for a prison, but you'll still want to be quick.
The other guys will get angry if there's no hot water left for them.
//laughs softly

I'll be getting used to a lot of things.
*sighs softly and follows*

It’s not, but this is all you get.

//pat your back and heads into the building again, waving for you to follow

*goes out into the yard, nodding a little disappointed at how sad it looks*
It's not much, is it?

//insists as I open the doors that lead out to the prison yard
This the yard.
We get recess out here, and occasionally assigned chores.

//turns to continue the way out to the yard
As the person who’s been here the longest, it’s my job to help the newbies.

@Cha Hakyeon ☧ *stops suddenly when you put a hand on my chest, and smiles softly listening to you speak*
I'm very much aware of what being in prison means.
*smiles a little in an almost teasing fashion*
But I think I can trust you.
You seem so soft ~

//stops walking and turns to place a hand on your chest to stop you too
If someone allows other people to hurt you for their own selfish benefit, they aren't worthy of trust.
//looks you in the eye
You're in /prison/ now, kid.
Everyone you meet in here as a reason not to be trusted.
The very fact that they're in here is reason enough not to trust them until they earn it.
