@❀ (qn) ahn sukyung Minho was a good swimmer, Qzinea made him one over his cadet trainee year. Because the pools on the space base were all artificial ponds and their perfect waves and streaming mechanisms were still no equal to the complexity of the underground lake he liked to explore on his free time. Minho was off duty and the current ceasefire allowed him to come to Qzinea, using a fake identity, justto enjoy the nature Earth couldn't offer him.
But even his velocity could not rival the enormous Walrus-lie animal that had been playing a little game of hide and seek with him before turning into a chase when Minho had wished to call it a day. He thought the beach would save him, but sand and air seemed to be no issue to the animal who accepted the pursuit, increasing in speed so much Minho could feel its warm breath ruffle his back. Panic gained him and in the next minute the anima was at his feet, dead or close to it. He had drawn his phaser so very quickly he only then looked around, another kind of panic making his ears burn red: wildlife on this planet was sacred. Qzineans got sentenced to death for less than that, and he figured his fake identity wouldn't look any good either.
His eyes caught on some movement, but the underground lake was so clear its blue light reverberated on all that surrounded it, keeping him on high alert for a few minutes before he hid his weapon and kneeled to the animal to bid it farewell.
"I'm sorry buddy. You looked pretty terrifying and I have no idea if eating your playmate is one of your customs." He said,rubbing the animal's big cheek; he could certainly fit entirely into the animal's mouth, but it still was no comfort to executing an animal. Earth made humans wary of wildlife for lacking it and this only meant he should disappear. He got up,turned around and froze,now sure there was a witness somewhere.
