Q: What is a warlock?
A: An immortal race of Downworlders. The offspring of demons and humans, typically mundanes, usually through or deceit. They usually have a demon father and a human mother. Their fathers are shape-shifting Eidolon demons disguised as humans or as the human's loved ones. All warlocks have a mark, which is a part of their body that is strange or unique that identifies them as unearthly. All warlocks are sterile and in the rare case of pregnancy, it will result in a stillbirth. The only exception to this is an offspring of a demon and an unmarked shadowhunter though this is extremely rare.
