their history.

eechaiyakul stands for ‘the Li family with the blessing of victory’. Born with the actual name of Chittaphon, nicknamed endearingly by his loved ones as Ten, he grew up in a family of four. There’s his father, who took care of the orchard behind their house; his mother, who sold fruits in the market; and his sister, Tern, who’s younger than him by three years. They were of Thai nationality, but moved to Korea when Ten was four, and had since been Korean citizens.

Unmong was a small town located far out from the hustle and bustle of city life, at least a three hours trip from Seoul. It was a peaceful countryside with a very small society — everyone knew everyone there. The town’s main method of money making was through agriculture, with the cultivation of plants and fruits and livestock.

Due to the rather closed community, residents tend to help each other out with anything and everything. Shipment of products to the bigger cities are usually done by adults working in the city. Most adults from late teens to early fifties moved out of the small town in hopes of finding better jobs that pay higher wages to provide for their families. The remaining adults of that age group that stayed behind in the small town worked in the fields or took care of the old and sick. Children in the small town were able to study in the local school until they turned the age of eighteen, where they could choose to stay or live in the cities.

Behind the house belonging to the Leechaiyakul family, an orchard stretched ten square metres. As a young boy, Ten would play chase with Tern through the foliage. Although he grew up with an orchard passed the backdoor, Ten actually has a fear of fruits and strongly dislikes them, an irony indeed — many poked fun of the boy due to this.

Ten was friends with all the kids in the neighbourhood. It was to be expected, given the tiny population of the town. All the children went to the same school, studied and had fun together. Ten knew all of Tern’s friends and vice versa. Throughout their school lives, Ten would accompany Tern whenever he could, never leaving her alone unless she had friends to entertain.

The life of a child was very simple back then, and being an older brother was something Ten was proud of.

When the rouse of the dead rising first came to light, Unmong had not been affected by it. There were news broadcast on the occurence on all television screens, and many newspaper discussed about this strange happening. Although there had not been any walking corpses sighted, the inhabitants of Unmong still prepared themselves for the worst.

Every household had some sort of weapon that could knock down a zombie, and even raising the security around their house so the undead would not be able to enter. Children were not able to walk to school by themselves anymore and needed the companion of an adult in order to reach their destination. Stocks had to be put on hold since adults of the town had to deal with the drama in the cities, and all their families back in their hometown had to worry and pray every day for their safety.

It was a Saturday afternoon. His father was resting under their porch after working in the orchard that whole morning. Ten and Tern were there with the man, the former drinking juice and the latter eating freshly plucked fruits, taking a short break after chasing each other around the orchard.

Ten was the one who noticed his father's changing expression, the brows pulling closer together as downturned lips stretched lower. The expression he wore was that of confusion, disbelief, but most of all, concern. Soon, he realised his son was watching him with an inquisitive gaze, so he answered,

There is problem in the big city. Something about people riising from the dead. There were many casualties, and the government advised citizens to stay indoors. It's more obvious in the cities for now, there hasn't been any sighting of a zombie yet here in Unmong.

Still, this seems quite serious. We better take pre-cautions. From now on, make sure you have an adult with you when you go to school every morning. Take care of Tern and make sure she doesn't leave your sight. You too, Tern, watch out for your brother and try to stay with him as much as possible.

The both of you have to take care of each other, understood? Especially you, Ten. You're an older brother, so take good care of Tern.

Ten listened to the instruction closely, Tern perking up when she heard herself being addressed, though only listening to the parts where she was concerned before moving on to eating her fruit happily.

Ever since then, Ten would walk with Tern to school, holding her hand as he followed their group of friends. One of their parents would volunteer to walk them to their destination, or it might be a teenager as they were old enough to take care of themselves and look after the young ones. Ten could never get the image of a baseball bat or any sort of weapon being held ominously in those adults' grasps as they reached their desired location.

Ten had been two months behind of fulfilling his namesake.

The first victim had been an old man who was taking a morning stroll. He knew

basic summary.

Reserved and cool, comes off as a pretty chill person. Ten is also rather friendly and fairly easy to talk to, able to discuss about anything and everything. He's also an open minded person who listens to any problems a person may have, mostly keeping a quiet attitude and offering any advice if he could.

Ten is also quick-witted and sharp tongued, straight forward with his words and having a realistic outlook on life. He's a free spirit, upbeat and hence always seen wandering around, bound to be doing something to rid of the extra nerves. He's also unafraid to resort to pragmatic schemes and if faced with danger, he could be rather selfish as he thinks for the better survival rate.

Before You Approach Me

•.*★ important。 You do not need to have a plot idea ready before PMing me. If you want to RP with me, just go for it. I don't require you to have an idea already set in mind beforehand. I know how intimidating it can be to want to RP but the person wants you to have a plot ready before asking them. I'm pretty chill and don't mind brainstorming with you. All I ask if you follow and respect the following OOC rules, thank you.

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。 I can do both 1st and 3rd, though I prefer the latter. For 1st, I'd like detailed RPing as it gives me more information to work on and continue. One-liners make me lose muse easily and ticks me off a lot since I don't know how to respond to it. For 3rd, I can do para, novella and prose. If you choose 3rd, please tell me which writing style you prefer. If you say nothing, I will assume you're okay with all of them and will throw you a starter using whichever I'm in the mood for.

•.*★ plotting style。 I do all genres except gore. Blood is okay, but fallen limbs and spilled guts are no go for me. Please give me feedback and input when I offer an idea. Don't leave me on a "Oh that sounds good" and nothing more. I will drop your PM quicker than you can blink. It makes me feel like you're not interested in the RP and as such, I shall treat it with as little care as you do.

•.*★ overall。 I'm a very expressive person and can ramble a lot. I get annoyed when people leave me on a one-liner, so please don't do that. I don't mind dropping the starter unless you have an idea in mind or if we feel that it's better that you'd be the one to start the RP.

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ important。 I usually don't poke my partners for replies unless I really like our plot. Please refrain from reminding me to reply unless a week has passed. I will do the same to you.

My timezone is GMT +8. I'm not in university right now so until then, I'm pretty free 24/7. Please do note that I have other RPs and hence wouldn't be able to be in here all the time. I tend to procrastinate my replies so if you think I'm taking too long to reply to you, then just know that you won't be the only one. I try to respond to whichever thread I have most muse for, so I beg of you to not rush me.

I tend to be active on OOC, but please don't use that fact against me when it comes to replies. I would appreciate it if you don't poke me for a reply, I like taking my time and there are moments where I just don't feel like writing anything. When the muse to type something comes, you'll know, because by then you should be receiving a roleplay reply from me.

Location Preferences

I prefer to roleplay in rooms. If possible, I try to avoid needing to roleplay on walls or PMs. If the location most suitable for our thread is not available, I'll ask the admins first to add the room if possible. If not, we'll discuss on the next best location. As you can see, I really don't like having to roleplay my threads on my wall or PMs. If we really don't have any other places our thread can take place at, then I'll concede that we will use walls or PMs.

Chittaphon Leechaiyakul (Ten) || 24 Years Old (2003) || Not Infected

Ten is quick-witted, sharp-tongued and straight-forward. He tries to be nice for the most part, lending an ear to whoever needs it and being as open-minded as can be. However, he is quite cynical and sees things in a realistic view, not quite liking overly optimistic or pessimistic people. He’s free-spirited and quite energetic, and also pragmatic, trying to resort to the easiest method to get his way.

Ten lived an agricultural lifestyle, further away from the big cities where the virus spread faster due to overpopulated civilisation. They read newspaper and watched the news about what happened in the big cities and tried to prepare themselves. But of course, no amount of preparation was able to save them from the zombie outbreak when it happened. They managed to gun down corpses that came to life. They didn’t know what happens when one gets bitten, so they treated to the ones who were infected.

They had a lot of casualties when it came to the bitten, and it was because of them that mayhem broke out in their small town on 2022, and it didn’t take long for their society to fall. Ten managed to escape the chaos, hide out for the night until everything was over, until the screams had died down and the gunshots were muffled. By then, when he left his sanctuary, all he saw were fallen loved ones, and roaming undead getting ready to find more living beings to attack.

Ten left the town he grew up in, the place no more safe unless you want to be attacked in the middle of the night in your sleep. He heard about Ansikjeo, and through navigations from rogue newspapers on the roadside, he soon managed to find himself to the safe city — or what was left of it. At least, there were survivors, and it was much better than back at his town where he couldn’t find a single soul, so he stayed with them to rebuild civilisation once more.
