objective: to retrieve a weapon lost to the ages
participants: wang yibo. kim hongjoong. park seonghwa.
outcome: fail with major injuries, near death >:d

This was by far one of the worst situations that Yibo had ever found himself in. He had been through quite a lot of weird encounters, dangerous ones even but compared to this those had been nothing. How could they have paired him up with these guys for a quest just because he had made the mistake of asking who should tag along?
Since the beginning of their journey Yibo tried to ignore Hongjoong, tried to not think about what had happened between them, how he had been a ing idiot through that spell. It hadn’t been his fault, he hadn’t been the one absorbed in magic or whatever it had been that Hongjoong had been so utterly focused on back when it had happened.
Yibo nodded slightly by the time that music already tried to break through the silence. Even with the radio on, it didn’t change the situation the slightest. ing hell---right the place they had to go to.
“The spear of Achilles.” Yibo grumbled as a reaction to Seonghwa’s questions. “It’s somewhere in the underworld so we need to find a way to get there. Head for LA but we might need to think of how to get into hell first.”
Expecting that it was going to be easy would have been dumb. Yibo had never been in the underworld himself. It had taken him long to even figure out who he was, a son of Hades. “We need those coins for the styx.” He added as he thought about what those from the underworld had whispered to him before as he had used necromancy to summon them.
@w. yibo@k. hongjoong So how does one end up tagging along a quest with one person who is, essentially, a complete and total stranger and the other one you only know vaguely due to your slightly similar interests in the dark and depressing?
And then those two acting like the other doesn’t exist?
That was the question that Seonghwa had been asking himself for the past 4 hours they(read: he) had been driving.
Why was it left to him, possibly the worst conversationalist of all time, to fill in this horribly awkward silence. Gods, he wasn’t a ing babysitter, whatever problems these two had, he didn’t understand why they couldn’t either a.) talk it out like adults to b.) just ing forget and get over it. Seonghwa sat at the steering wheel, seething as Yibo and Hongjoong did everything they could to make things worse and worse, and Hwa honestly felt like he was almost at his limit. He didn’t even like conversation, he would have happily sat in the car and drove wherever it was they needed to go in complete silence except it wasn’t just silence, it was intense silence.
“I’m gonna put on some music” He muttered, reaching to turn the radio on. This car was a piece of junk; he wishes they’d had time to stop in NYC so they could swap over to one of his but no, they were stuck in this one. He flipped through the stations one by one, until settling on some random station playing 90’s R&B music.
“So.. Does somebody want to remind me of whatever vision their parent gave them? Because at this point, I don’t know where I’m going."
