@hange zoë. He didn't want to give in and admit what he knew. Hange was probably the only person who could tell Erwin the truth, but Levi was almost against it at this point. Even now he tried at no end to find out the truth he so valiantly fought to achieve. It'd be a lie if he said he hadn't harbored even just a little bit of resentment from being left in such a way, though it had been entirely his choice. "We were all up to our necks in anyway." He held onto her glasses for a moment longer, watching the look on her face curiously. Had she received all her memories in one go or had she received them in fragments, like he did? "It couldn't be stopped."

Regardless, it was a tough role to play, especially succeeding Erwin who'd left such massive shoes to fill. "I was hiding them." He finally took the opportunity to put them on her face, allowing her to see him clearly now. "I didn't want you to see me until I got my together, but--" He was about to say more, but seeing her gaze to Sasha and Niccolo, the older male nodded and reached over to grab his coat. He could tell by the look on her face that she wanted him to leave even before she spoke. "I should probably go check on the shop. You guys can catch up."

@levi ackerman. She held her tongue, assessing him as best as she could sans glasses and an eye. Closed off as always was Levi, even in this life. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, Hange instead took stock of her other former comrades and their knowledge — the ones she was definite who /knew/ were Sasha, Niccolo, by extension, and Erwin. Erwin, the clever bastard, who made use of her platform. To seek genuine advice only or to trigger her memories too? She wasn't sure, yet she made a mental note to pay him a visit. The raven head by her, though, Hange wouldn't write him off entirely yet.

Hange had a few gulps of water, colour returning to her cheeks. "Ironic how I held a leadership role but couldn't stop it all from going to ." She muttered bitterly, the double meaning too prominent. She gave a short hum at his description of the incident, having recalled it. Yet another parallel to their prior lives. Hange tried again, smiling at his comparison. He was just as eloquent as he was previously. "Ironic how spectacles turned out to be damaging to my eye. Speaking of which, where are they?" There was still a glum undertone, something which she tried to ignore. Her arm covered in bandages prevented her from inspection and from hiding her expression from him.

She couldn't let go of her newly retrieved memories, not when they kept replaying themselves. It was as if when in the movies, the flashbacks played before the character's death, except Hange wasn't on her deathbed yet. She then understood Erwin's dilemma intimately. She had to discuss it with someone who knew; Levi was in a grey area. "Where are Sas–" They entered, holding bags of takeout. Seeing Hange awake, Sasha quickened to her bedside, exclaiming a statement of relief. Hange took her hand in consolation before turning to Levi, pleading in her eye. "Can you give us a moment?"

@hange zoë. "Still reaching for those damn glasses?" Levi watched her hand for a moment, fixing his somber expression now that she could see him... Though, he quickly realized that the woman couldn't really see much of anything. Even so, it was his job to maintain his calm and calculated composure. He reached over for her resting frame, taking the glasses from the side table and opening them enough to be placed over her eyes. Hearing her voice, however, he held them by his side. She must have been able to see him well enough. There was truly no need to rush her into see him. Hange was no idiot, she could read him quite well. The petite male was aware that he couldn't hide his emotions as well as he wanted to, not like he once did. "Can't say I know what your talking about." He decided to play coy as he normally did among those he once knew. "Then again, I never do." The only thing he could do was play it off with his usual unenthusiastic responses.

"You're not even gonna ask what happened to you?" He pulled up a chair so that he could sit with her, sighing and treating it as a burden when they both knew he felt the opposite. She likely already knew what was wrong... and judging by the way she'd gripped her head, something must have come through-- Much like the way his own memories had come through when he lost his fingers. Coincidentally, the same two he'd lost in their previous world together. "The heat from the water busted up your glasses and sent the shards into your eye..." The ones he had in his hand were the pair he'd taken to get fixed while she was sleeping. The glasses store told him it would take several days to fix them, but he threatened them into finishing it before he left the store. It was likely the least he could do while she was in such a condition. "Your skins a little burnt too... I saw it too-- kinda resembles a baboon's ."

@levi ackerman. Hange's eyes opened. She automatically reached for her glasses. It hurt tremendously; Hange's arm returned to her side. She squinted, yet all she could see was a blurry mop of black hair by her side. "Levi?" She tried. Her voice was hoarse. It was then she noticed her vision was lacking, more than usual — her left side was blocked; Hange raised her fingers to that eye, finding cloth and bandage underneath her fingers. Her breaths quickened as the gears in her brain cycled. She let out a sharp gasp and clutched her head as the memories — both past and present — overwhelmed.

Hange slowly raised her head, focusing on the features that had come closer. So it was Levi. "Ironic, isn't it?" A short, mirthless chuckle escaped her lips.
