In the year 2878, war waged across the world, burning and wrecking what was the nations of those who could control the elements. It began in the city of Nar, the capital of Vale. or at least the war did- the fear began in the heart of a man who calls himself Dr. Faen, a man who despised those who controlled and lived with the elements with a passion. He believed that no one, under the world that God created, should be so powerful. And so, the fear-mongering began.
And fear, especially of a name, increases fear of the thing itself. The benders were called anything from savages to spawn of the devil and people had started to teeter and rumble; what if the benders would kill them? What if they suffered another apocalypse? It was too soon for them to go through that again.
So they acted first- under the careful yet ill-placed guidance of Dr. Faen, they attacked the unsuspecting benders. In the way, blood was spilled, of those benders and mundanes alike. In war, everyone was an equal when it came to blood shed. But benders sought peace even in their defense. Alas, there wasn’t much they could do if they wanted to live. They retreated into the shadows, pushing down their abilities to a low lull to not be suspected. And for years, eons, they’ve lived suppressed. Until now.
They feel a stirring within the earth- something is coming. something they cannot avoid and it’s much bigger than anyone expects. They need to fight. But at what cost?
