She couldn't help but to chuckle instead as the other pulled her hand from hers to fetch her mug before looking back at her, "You might find your answer when you feel like an outsider like me, a former member from Eros, being forced to exile from a rumor that wasn't true." Joohyun takes another sip from her coffee before she continues to talk. "You must be enjoying your time having the same position as his even though we both know we're just his second-in-commands." She chuckles again as she taps her fingers gently on her mug, "Just because I was one of his past ual encounters, doesn't mean I respect him... and I respect you, not because you are his girlfriend... because you are my first friend when I entered Pasithea the first time." She muttered and crossed her arms. "I don't believe love conquers all, the word is too deep for shallow people to understand." Then she gets her cinnamon roll to take another bite out of it, "If you ask me for an advice, love can show you lust, vanity, jealousy, avarice, and anger..." She puts back the roll on the saucer. "Love is a challenge you will face every day for the rest of your life, if you gave up then you lose everything..." She looked down a bit as she remembered the time she gave up loving anyone back when she was a human. "What I just told you, it can show you lust, vanity, jealousy, avarice and anger... face it with what contradicts it."

@◑ joohyun b. Jennie kept her eyes on the girl as she mentioned knowing something that the female herself knew and it caused her to become eerily nervous. A scoff escaped her lips as she turned her gaze to her mug, her hand that was covered by joos pulled out from underneath her hold to grab her mug and sip on her coffee. "You respect Joshua because he allowed you to work for him, or you respect him because of your past ual relations with my boyfriend." She eyed the girl with a smirk on her lips, Joshua belonged to her and she made it clear just as he did with others. "If you respect him, than you should have respect for me too." Once again she sipped on her coffee replacing the smirk that laid on her lips with a smile. "But seeing as you know your place than I shouldn't have any worries right?" She hummed and folded her hands together above the table, sitting up straight.

@◑ jennie k. As the waitress served their drinks and cinnamon rolls, she left quickly. "Hm, you know what I want to talk about..." Joohyun kept her smirk before taking a bite on her cinnamon roll before looking at the other, "You and Joshua, how are you two doing?" She asked as she takes a sip of her coffee. "You know, when I heard that you two are dating, I realized something..." The demon put her coffee down and leaned forward on the table, "I should know my boundaries. Well... as much as I respect Joshua, I should know my place as a second-in-command." Her gaze went back to the other as her looks went cold and firm. She suspected that Jennie knows about her being one of Joshua's past ual encounter, she could see her composure and the way she reacted. "You know something that I know, Jennie." She told her before she gently placed her free hand on the others.

@◑ joohyun b. Jennie nodded realizing her affection wasn't as nearly welcomed to Joo as it had been with Joshua and decided never to make that move again more so being scared of the fact that the girl was in fact non-human and more so.. a demon. The thought never crossed the females mind until her boyfriend told her about him and than along the lines of Joo leaving out the fact she had been one of his ual encounters. Now knowing exactly who Joo was, Jennie was hesitant when talking about Joshua. She sat at the table as the other girl went to go grab the drinks and cinnamon rolls. "What would you like to talk about Joo..?" She asked noticing the smirk on the girls lip thinking she might have something hanging from a limb that she wanted to talk about. "You look as though you might have something to tell me." Taking a sip from her coffee, Jennie looked back at the female mimicking the smirk she wore.

@◑ jennie k. Joohyun looked at her before sighing, she's not sure about the new ingredients that Jennie brought to her, she had to make a test out of it if it is safe to make it into a new compound. She saw the other's hand reaching for her head to be patted at, she quickly pried her hand gently, "What are you doing? I'm not a pet to get a pat on." She rolled her eyes and doesn't the fact that Jennie is taller than her even though the two wore heels. When they reached at the coffee shop, they went to one of the empty tables and put their bags under it. "I'll go buy coffee... and cinnamon rolls." Joohyun went to the cashier and ordered the coffee she wanted and the coffee Jennie wanted before ordering two cinnamon rolls. Then after that, she paid for it before heading back to the table and sat on the other chair, waiting for a waitress to serve their orders. "So, since you don't want to talk about work, what would you like to talk about then?" She smirks and looked at the other.

@◑ joohyun b. Jennie felt completed as she finally got the shoes she had been craving for finally having a good amount of things to bring home and model in for her boyfriend. Looking at her friend she gave a soft smile as she began to talk about work. Although Jennie loved her job and the family it came with, she just wished at times that she wouldn't have to be reminded of it while she was having a good time away from all the headaches of the field they worked in. But nonetheless it was still what she was brought into and what the man she fell in love with had owned. "Shipments are supposed to go out and new herbals and ingredients are to be brought in for you to start working on." She raised her free hand to pat the girls head before placing some of the bags in it as they walked out of the store. "Let's not worry about that right now though, we're having a girls day." Her smile grew, trying to change the conversation at hand.

@◑ jennie k. She couldn't help but to chuckle towards the other, she knew Jennie is a fan of sneakers and stores a lot in her closet and the storage. The two second-in-commands went inside the store where they sell the limited edition that Jennie wanted, this time Joohyun looked for a new set of shoes for her work. She looked around and saw a midnight purple wedge heels and went to the counter and bought it with her own card. "So how's your work today? Checking which shipments must go and must not?" She asked the latter as she was paying for the shoes.

@◑ joohyun b. Jennie smiled at the mention of shoes and shrugged. "I think I've lost count to be fully honest.. But those shall be my last catch, I need a break from all this shopping." She nodded agreeing with the females statement of wanting those glass butterfly heels that everyone was after. Her heels clicked against the floor as she made her way to the store which had been selling the heels she so badly craved for. "A iced Americano.. And cinnamon rolls sound amazing for me." She nodded happily.

@◑ jennie k. She sighed before she attempts to call her associate when the other was beside her already and linked her arms with her, she quickly turned down the call as she attempts to peek on her phone. "So, you done?" Joohyun looked at her as they start walking around the area again, "I know it's not just the lingerie you're after... why?" She changed her gaze and looked at the banner that features the limited edition sneakers that Jennie had been eyeing for. "Seriously, how much shoes have you got inside your closet?" She squints her eyes towards her, she couldn't do anything but to sigh. "Anyway, after this we could fetch some Latte and cinnamon rolls." She chuckles before looking at Jennie.

@◑ joohyun b. Jennie picked a cute new set if lingerie as she giggled when the shy one said she would stay outside. She wondered how a demon could have a flustered side but shrugged it off. Quickly paying she found her way to the others side, linking her arm with the females before peeking at the phone.

@◑ jennie k. "L-Lingerie?!" Joohyun's eyes widen again by the other's response and they went inside the high class lingerie shop, "Just be quick, okay? I'll stay here." She let Jennie choose some new lingerie for her. Her eyes scanned the area and seeing the different type of lingerie, she wondered how many lingerie set she has. Joohyun sat on a waiting area while the other tries to pick a lingerie, she gets her phone and types something in her notepad about what she currently research for the new edition of drugs.

@◑ joohyun b. "Lingerie." The words slipped from with ease as she smiled at the girl, by her expression she can tell that she was wondering if Jennie was spoiled. Although she was, Jennie never cared to use the money on herself all the time, and seeing as she finally had a chance to spend it without wondering what she was going to use it on before Josh hounded her to spend it in a very loving way. "Don't worry about it, it's fine." She nodded and walked to the high class lingerie shop nearby.

@◑ jennie k. She was shocked by what her friend had got her, all of the three expensive purses were bought by Jennie without even hesitating. 'Did he spoiled her too much she doesn't even hesitated on which of the three she would choose?' Joohyun thought inside her mind while crossing her arms as she gets the three purses, she only gave Jennie a not-so-serious expression, "I told you to pick the best one, not buy them all." She whispered before she gets the shopping bag which it was paid already by her friend. "Anyway, I owe you one for this." She smirked as they went out of the store and start walking to look for something new. "What do you want to buy next?" She asked the other as she looked at Jennie.

@◑ joohyun b. Jennie let out a soft giggle as the girl had a hard time deciding, she shook her head and called one of the managers over and told her she would like to have them all. The woman had widened her eyes but Jennie simply nodded her head and handed over her black card, which had been gifted to her by her own boyfriend. Joshua wouldn't mind, especially if Jennie gave him a treat the following night. Although Jennie probably spent more on shoes then she would the purses she would gift to her friend. "Let this be an early christmas gift." She gave a small, sweet smile before turning to go to the front so that she can check that the payment was made correctly, her heels clicking against the marbled glass floor.

@◑ jennie k. Joohyun gulped as she saw the new edition of expensive clutch purses in front of the store which Jennie led her inside, the demon scientist was tempted but she had to save more money for the new equipment in her lab. "I..." She gulped and stared at the purses, "I hate to say this but I have a hard time to choose." She told Jennie while rubbing her nape gently, "Would you mind? Picking the best one?" She let Jennie do the choosing. If Joohyun got her other atm card, she would have bought them all, but she came unprepared for it.

@◑ joohyun b. "You worry too much about Joshua, my boyfriend will be perfectly fine especially since your with me." She nodded with a happy grin, keeping her arm linked with the girls as they walked inside the trading center. The buzzing noised filled with others conversations and children's laughter. With a quick turn, Jennie had taken them inside of the store the other had been talking about, seeing as there was a new clutch purse. Leading the girl to the section she pointed to them. "Pick your poison my love." A smile grew on her lips.

Joohyun sighed as she usually not having a hangout with the other second-in-command due to her leader being overprotective over Jennie, this time around, Joohyun will be on guard while accompanying their leader's precious girl. They walked inside and looked around to see expensive things and luxurious stuffs inside the center, "They really trade expensive things in here... I wonder if there's new clutch purse already." She muttered before she gasped and looking back at the female beside her, "W-Wait a second, why do you have no guards along with you-- does Joshua even know you're here with me?!"

Although the girl had been told over and over not to go out unless she was with her boyfriend or a few guards, Jennie refused to miss her limited time to buy a pair of sneakers she had been eyeing for. Maybe she wanted to pick up a few other things but that was besides the point, and as soon as she heard the voice of the only other female she had been close to (possibly for the obvious fact the they were cos in being the second in command) a grin grew on her lips. She spun around to look at the female, her waves down just below her mid back, her soft brown eyes gleaming in the sun. "Joo." Her voice was soft to the touch as always, calling the female by her nickname. "M-Maybe I did want to go shopping just a bit..?" She pretended to act innocent in the act before linking the others arms with her, walking towards the entrance as her heels clicked against the grainy parking lot.

@◑ jennie k. What a cloudy afternoon, a call from her co-second-in-command stops her from her research for the new edition of drugs she has been working on for a month, it's all about shopping. No one could deny it, even the so-called stone cold demon, Bae Joohyun. She fixed her files before getting her coat, purse and her car keys to drive her way to the trading center where the other is waiting for her. Joohyun stopped her car in the driveway before getting off with her heels clacking against the asphalt, she can already see the other waiting on the other side, she walked towards the other with a usual expressionless facade. "What's with you today? You're feeling to buy expensive stuffs again?" She greeted Jennie with a small smile.
