@⍣Vaughn Elitia Nilis♜ As someone who spent quite a bit of personal time with Vaughn, Kaito had picked up on when he might be using his powers, and it wasn't surprising to feel a slight gust of wind crawl through his raven tresses in response to the elder's inhumane speed. Shortly thereafter, Kaito's hair had gained a windswept look--perhaps it was an improvement, but that would be for Vaughn to decide.
As he pushed the door open, he was not surprised in the least to find Vaughn waiting on the other side of the door. Kaito paused mid-movement to greet him with a simple, yet respectful bow. As he straightened his posture, a rogue strand of hair stood up on the top of his head, and he quickly lifted a hand to push it back down with the rest of his ebony locks. Regardless, the younger's attention shifted from his simpleton worries to his boss' expression; there was a hint of confusion and disappointment.
As Vaughn spoke, Kaito kept his gaze on him, never faltering for fear of coming off as disrespectful. He had learned to maintain absolute attention when being addressed; he'd never waste Vaughn's time. He so desperately wished to explain himself--to share his side of the narrative surrounding his poor work performance and his strange behavior, but as soon as his lips parted, they were shut by Vaughn's cunning tone. Complying with unwavering obedience, Kaito followed the elder up the stairs to his room. As they ascended the stairs, Kaito would be lying if he said that he didn't spare multiple glances to check out the elder's rear and its perfect proportions. It seemed as though Vaughn was sculpted by Asmodeus himself.
@⍣Kaito Nakamura♖ [ sʜ ] Vaughn had used his speed to reach his living room, standing in a spot that were directly at his front door as he awaited for his special guest to walk themselves in. Tucking his hands behind his neck, he flared out his hair that was caught between the red silk and his skin; watching the male with sharp eyes.
Oh how handsome the younger were; looking prim and proper just how the elder vampire liked. Kaito was one that had rare disappointed the vampire, ever since they had met all those years ago, Vaughn had an expectation on the other. Yet, as of late, he has received a good number complaints pertaining to Kaito’s performance. That in itself had struck Vaughn as…odd. Kaito was a good worker, what could be disturbing him all of a sudden?
As Kaito spoke, Vaughn neared them; glowing blue eyes never wavering in their gaze. Chin high and eyes so sharp that they could cut through air.
“There must be something on your mind…” The male spoke, reaching his hand out to gently caress their jugular to under their chin. “You are not usually this…” A pause. The vampires eyes wandering all around Kaito’s body, just until their eyes met again. “…/nervous/.” With the same hand, a gentle grip initiated on their chin, rising his wrist to tilt the chin upwards. “Your blood is pumping rather fast, as if you had a heart to begin with…” Vaughn chuckled, letting go of his underling as he turned around.
@⍣Vaughn Elitia Nilis♜ The days bled into one another and the clients went just as fast. It felt as though they were merely glimpses of ethereal ghosts as Kaito pleased them--less of an individual and more of a number; he had no feelings for them. He was at work after all. However, his mind was filled with different thoughts--ones of replacing his client with an individual that he had grown to admire: Vaughn. It felt silly to fall for your boss, but he carried himself with such grace and authority that it was not hard to notice him when he entered a room. The invasive thoughts made it difficult to please his clients as of late, and his reputation was beginning to precede him as sloppy and inattentive. How could he pay attention to his clients when his mind was constantly somewhere else? Thus, he decided that he had to do something about it.
Following his shift, Katio cleaned himself up and ensured that he was flawless in his presentation. It felt as though he was in school again and trying to dress up to impress a crush. Perhaps this wasn't much different, but Vaughn was certainly more important to him than just a silly crush. The pair had spent countless nights together, chasing their carnal desires, but even more, Vaughn was the one that pitied the human that Kaito once was and gave him the gift of ever-lasting life. Most would consider the life of a vampire to be a curse, but if one were to have witnessed Kaito's life as a human, anything would have been better. With one last glance, Kaito stepped outside and made his way towards Vaughn's mansion.
The moonlight danced across Kaito's porcelain skin like a ballerina, baptizing him in an ethereal aura as he walked. He carried a sultry, yet imposing presence with him. He arrived at Vaugn's home quicker than he had anticipated, and he hadn't actually thought of what he would say. Regardless, it would be too late to turn back now--he was sure that Vaughn smelled him coming, and that was confirmed as he heard the elder's voice invite him from the other side of the door. Stepping inside, Kaito took in a deep inhale of Vaughn's presence and it nearly brought him to his knees out of mere instinct. The scent wasn't necessarily sweet, but it was more intoxicating than anything else. "Vaughn. I-..." Kaito pondered simply posing his thoughts immediately, but the fear of rejection got the better of him. "I thought I might find you here. Any...plans for the evening?" The pause in his inquiry was accompanied by a not-so-subtle glance over Vaughn's body in an attempt to shamelessly check out the man in all of his glory despite him being somewhat clothed. "Or perhaps I should come back at another time?"
@⍣Kaito Nakamura♖ A day to finally pamper himself. It has been a long, grueling week for the young vampire. Going between checking on his business, to analyzing the stocks within the clans ion ring, to training young assassins here and there; Vaughn was /exhausted/. There was a large bathtub with hot rose water calling his name.
And he surely indulged.
A nice hour of relaxation for the vampire. Music playing around his room, cold glass of blood wine and a candle lit bath? How was he not supposed to in there for that long? He practically almost fell asleep. Now he were slipping on his deep royal purple robe and heading into his bed room to change clothes.
“Listen to me please~ Don’t send me to the path of nevermore~” An old song the vampire used to sing whenever he were alone in these recent years. Singing was something he enjoyed to do on his free time, having done it since he could remember. He could even trace back to his early days in the clan where he had to sing to one of his leaders just to keep them level-headed, or singing to his targets as they’d taken their last breath; Vaughn taunting them with his voice before leading them into their eternal slumber. Those were the days. Now? He did not do it /much/, not even to the customers he favored. But there was one certain vampire he’d share a few notes with here and there…
Slipping on his burgundy silk, button down shirt; only to stop mid-way as a specific sickly-sweet smell entered his nostrils. With the raise of an eyebrow, the male turned his head half way; just enough to see his door from his peripheral.
Now, what was the surprise visit all of a sudden? They should know that he did not like sudden guest— well, unless they were a favorite. And this certain visitor was *indeed* a favorite.
“No need to knock, just come in. I can smell you behind the door, dear Kaito.”
