@shikanoin heizou. [h] Tonight was the night. He could feel electricity buzz under his skin, either from nerves or excitement, he couldn't tell. It wasn't the first time he's ever been on a date, but it was the first date he's ever been on where he didn't anticipate a payment at the end - or prior to it. It was also the first date with someone he could confidently say he cared about. Deeply. The thought drew a smile to his face, one he couldn't even hide behind his palm as his ears grew red and his nape followed suit. Heizou had already given him so many new experiences and happy moments that he never imagined for himself. Not in this life or the next. And yet, within the short while they've known each other, one man completely turned his world on its head, and with such ease and poise that it nearly gave Mignon whiplash. Which is why he made a promise to himself to not ruin the night by any means necessary, including hiding his little white lie for a little while longer. He takes another look into the smudged and stained mirror of the public bathroom located not too far down the road from their agreed meet up spot. Pulling back one corner of his lips, a pointed fang begins to rear its head where a previously blunt tooth existed. It wasn't too noticeable from a distance, he thinks, however that wasn't his concern. He simply hopes that the darkness and shadows of the night help conceal it. While he did for a moment consider sharing this very crucial aspect about himself, about the real reason why he requested to plan their time at the beach in the evening long after the sun had set (much to his own disappointment and against his own desires), he dismissed the thought as quickly as it arose. Tonight was to be about them and only them. And nothing else would disturb their peace ... or risk ruining his relationship with Heizou. Not when it had just begun. Not when the man had come to mean so much to him. If hiding himself for the short-term meant being with his love for a long while, then he would do so.

He takes a breath, gripping the edge of the sink. He peers into his own eyes in his reflection, the dim bathroom light just bright enough to reflect the red beginning to bleed into his irises. It'll all be fine. It's just ... one night. He can get through one night. Another breath. He stands upright, straightening out his hoodie before zipping it up and smoothing out the nonexistent wrinkles in his track pants. Taking one last look and fixing a few stray strands of white hair to mostly cover his darkening roots, he walks out with a duffle slung over his shoulder. It doesn't take long to get back to the main road and venture in the direction of their designated location. It takes even less time to then see a familiar mop of unruly scarlet hair, which pulls a grin to his face as he picks up his pace with a bit more of a hop in his step. "Heizou!!" He shouts, waving an arm in an attempt to catch the other's attention.

PLEASE don't feel the need to mirror!! i blacked out when writing it and then when i came to it was like this ;;;;;

@mignon. Excitement fuels his mind and courses through his veins as he finally heads out to meet up with Mignon for their first ever date. As promised, it was at night at the local beach, and Heizou made it a point to show up somewhat early juuuust in case. They decided to meet up near a small ice cream stand a little ways before the coast, and it happened to have a decent size mirror so he looks himself over for a quick check since he went with a simple and semi-practical outfit for the occasion for once. He figured it would be kind of cold, so he opted for an oversized sweater shirt, though that didn't stop him from wearing the shorts it was half-tucked into. And now that he's looking, he realizes he forgot to tie his hair up and take off his glasses then put in his contacts again... That, coupled with the large bag of things they may need hanging over his shoulders was giving big time highschool preppy boy, making him grimace slightly. "ing nerd," he mutters to his own reflection with a shake of the head, but he hopes Mignon won't bring it up. Knowing the other, however, that was unlikely. Still, he kicks at the ground and sighs. It should be fine. He was cute no matter how he looked and the date was supposed to be casual, right? He didn't want to overdo it and make Mignon feel weird. Or get his pretty clothes dirty... But maybe he should have anyway. A hand comes up to his chin in thought. Was it too late to go home and change? He knew he should have packed another outfit just in case! Well, maybe it would be okay... Mignon didn't seem to stress him over things like that, but now he feels a little bad. A little frumpy even though it was probably fine. That's what happens when you get carried away focusing on things to bring, he guesses. With a small huff, he closes his eyes. He'll just have to hope for the best. Hope Mignon isn't disappointed. And speaking of Mignon, where was he? It had to have been close to time by now.

Miss Kokomi did not often visit the ocean. It was just a treat maybe once a year. She was rather happy being away from her kind but once a year. Lots of familial drama, something about her being a princess-- whatever. that's not for her to think about now, though. Nope! She was on a lovely date with her wonderful, thoughtful partner, whom she so adored.
It's so perfect
She giggles, taking his jaw into her hold, and then presses a short, sweet kiss to his lips. It's so different than how it was last year. A Ferris wheel was installed! That wasn't there the time before! However, what caught her eye the most were the bright red and blue snowcones on the billboard ahead.
She takes his lips between hers once more to quell his worries. there was no need. everything was so amazing. she was so happy.
You did so good, puppy. Should we set up at the beach?
She was rushing; there was a nice spot that opened up recently, and though it's not /too/ busy, it may pick up, and she needed that piece of real estate for herself!
Come come, I wanna get wet!

@sangonomiya kokomi. /with her hand in his, he tugs her along with him to the sandy expanse of the shore during the day. he chose the beach for their somewhat impromptu date because he figured going somewhere near water might be nice for her, and various food vendors were lining the parking lot.
i hope you don't mind coming here, guppy.
/turns to circle his arms around her middle and peck her forehead before looking in her eyes, searching for any signs of discomfort or dislike of his idea.
i thought it might be nice to have some food and just relax here... maybe play in the water a bit and check out the stores along the coast, but... we can go somewhere else if you don't like it.
