Gym Building

@kim ∶ jongin It was out of line for Hongjoong to go work out, but Mijeong had insisted that she needed a buddy for her afternoon routine. "I don't go to the gym alone!" She'd whined, as though they both wouldn't be wearing headphones and be doing different things, off in opposing directions... But Hongjoong loved her dearly, and acquiesced anyways. He'd shown up in some gym shorts stolen from an old boyfriend, usually reserved for sleeping in and not wearing out, and a plain white shirt to the text of "smth came up. not going. have fun!" With a slew of sad faces and hearts afterwards.

Now he was here though, and already resigned to working out...

Hongjoong rolled his eyes as he texted back, adjusting his glasses to sit properly and not down the tip of his nose. "No worries. Be safe & make good decisions, lmao. Talk to you later." After that was sent, he looked around and picked a rowing machine to work on. At least that was easy enough, and he'd get the chance to work on his upper body a bit.

He sat down at one of the benches, fiddling with the settings to adjust the weight distribution. 250 pounds? What sort of monster had been working at this machine before? Hongjoong knew he could never, between his slight frame and general lack of lifting anything heavier than a ream of fabric. He started small, with the single lowest weight - even though it seemed silly - to get a feel for the number. Standing up and reaching for the bar, he pulled and the weight flew upwards, crashing back down and echoing around the nearly empty space while Hongjoong froze, trying to take in what the had just happened.

@vinnie ∙ hacker *jungkook rubbed his head shyly as he chuckled softly. “yeah..you’re right..i should..” he nodded after as he looked at you. now eyeing you in more detail, he noticed the tatts, the outfit, your physique and your demeanor overall. confident as frick. phew! that was definitely a check mark in jungkook’s attraction list, but maybe he should slow down and not crush on every guy he meets.
He snaps out of his world as your voice chimes in. He looks up at you, holding onto the handles of his gym bag. The shorter male wore a white fitness shirt, and black shorts with white stripes & white sneakers. He understood your response immediately after you answered. “Yeah, i know..seems like a lot at first but it’s fun! i promise! just stay away from the bad guys..” his voice trailed off as kook looked to the side, a flash of memories whizzing through his head. He glances back at you, stuttering at your question as the brunette suffered from social anxiety. “H-h-yes i am-” he nods, staring at the floor ahead of you.*

@jeon ∙ jungkook Vinnie’s gaze finally met with the others, the male who bumped him seemed more distracted than most of the others, he seemed like a more softer person, so Vin did nod to him, his blue eyes softer than they had been, still the shorter male really should be a little more aware he thought, but perhaps this was a meeting of a since type of fate? “Eh, it’s fine… maybe you should be a little more cautious though…I could have knocked your down by accident.”
His physical appearance really was different than some here, and he obviously loved working out, definitely a little more hardcore than some. His tattoos were mostly of a vipers and one that you couldn’t see. A black widow spider… yes they had meanings but he didn’t openly share them, at least not about the snake tattoos and the spider which again, you couldn’t see anyway right now.

“Yeah, unfortunately.” he chimed. But he lifted a corner of his full lips and gave a soft smirk. His gym bag on his shoulder and he wore red workout shorts, and a black razor back tank top, and for the time being he wore a few golden chains that were subtle but they glistened against his neck.
“I’m Vincent but Vinnie is my nickname. Or Vin if you’re in a hurry.”
He notices the way your dressed and have a gym bag as well, his own was red like his shorts and he had earbuds with him.
“You heading to the gym too?”

@vinnie ∙ hacker “oh- “ jungkook looks up at the unfamiliar voice from his distraction of a phone. He catches your look and apologizes with a polite bow as he looked away. “i’m sorry..i wasn’t looking” he says softly. unlike the other, jungkook was the opposite, timid and very shy. bonus if the stranger was attractive. he slowly looks up from his averted gaze up to the other male’s body, abs, and then eventually to his face. his blue eyes. was he a foreigner? jungkook was rather intrigued by international students and didn’t complain. it was more of curiosity rather than judgement. “hi..” he says with a awkward smile & scratch of his head. “are you new here~?”*

5 days ago, the new freshmen had entered this particular hallway, he was a quick learner and had mapped out the campus, he didn’t seem like the typical freshmen, all timid or shy, he was quiet of course but only because he didn’t know anyone yet and he had yet to meet his new roommate. As he rounded the corner and walked a few feet in the hallway, he suddenly felt this other persons body bump into him right as he passed, he saw how they weren’t even watching where they were going. Even if they been here longer, Vinnie quickly look at the darker haired guy and had a slightly irritated look to his face. Ok than…”

@vinnie ∙ hacker *later that day in the afternoon, jungkook decides to hit the gym to do some chill workouts. he really had nothing else to do aside from attending classes, so he decides to spend his leisure time in the gym. he has comfortable shirt and shorts on, with a little gym bag as he walks through the corridor towards the gym from the art wing on his phone, passing by you.
