/looks away, not noticing you look at my hand as I'm busy wondering about what you just said; after all earlier on you said you were hungover because you had been celebrating with the band for finishing that song/
/well, we all have secrets... so I decide not to dig into that further

Oh yeah, they probably have it. And if not, instant noodles with a kilo of kimchi usually does the trick for me.

Actually, you're the one who lives in the area... you tell me where the hangover stew is /laughs
I don't know this neighbourhood half as well as you do, after all

I have about an hour before I need to head to work, but you should go home anyway after eating. Sleep.

@◦ e. hyeokjin ᶜᵃᵖᵘᶜᶜᶦⁿᶦ Conan smiles looking into Hyeok’s eyes ..” yeah it work you’re insane and I like it ..” he continued and felt the other’s arm around his waist making Conan blush some as he hugged his neck giving a nod ..” I’m starving .. “ he beamed

@◦ g. conan ʳᵒᵐᵃⁿᵗᶦᶜᵐᵉⁿᶦᵃᶜ Hyeok was busy on his phone annoying songchelin on the app, and didn't notice Conan approaching until he was right behind him. "Oh!" He flinched, then laughed a little nervously and turned around to face Conan. "I'm glad it worked.", he whispered back with a grin, leaning in as he spoke and wrapped an arm around Conan's waist. "Let's go. Need some food for that hangover of yours?"

@◦ e. hyeokjin ᶜᵃᵖᵘᶜᶜᶦⁿᶦ Conan walked around the building and in between the crowed looking for Hyeok as he excused himself bumping into people acting frantically about the minor smoke coming from the cafe.
Once spotting him he smiled to himself and approached him from behind ..” you’re insane “ he whispered audible enough for Hyeok to know it was him

'You're Conan, right? Here.'
*he hands you a bag with juice, sprite, and lemonade in it, as well as a bag of chips; then, before you can reply he walks off, grumbling something under his breath*
*meanwhile the fire in the building next to the cafe rages on, the firetrucks arrive and start putting it out but it doesn't look like the cafe will be opening up again for the day, not with all the smoke polluting the air*

@◦ e. hyeokjin ᶜᵃᵖᵘᶜᶜᶦⁿᶦ Tilting his head upwards he hears the fire alarm and tries to hold a laugh unable to believe that you actually came and did what you were going to say you’d do.

“ Conan we need to evacuate..” he’s told by one of his coworkers while shaking his head grabbing his coat and forgetting to take off his apron he rushes out the cage from the back of door looking around for you.

*the fire alarm goes off, and so do the sprinklers but the fire isn't in this building but the one right next door*
*still, for safety reasons, everyone is asked to evacuate while the firefighters arrive to manage the situation*

@◦ e. hyeokjin ᶜᵃᵖᵘᶜᶜᶦⁿᶦ Conan was on a little bit of a day dream and the moment between them had him question about what it would be like if something happen between them . And there he was again finding scenarios of them being together and how or what it would be like wondering what it will feel like if they hold hands . And how a love story could come out from this moment . His thoughts where caught short when he was told about the lamp pole and it has him almost jumping forwards causing him to lean forwards to the other his eyes narrow to his gaze and he gives out shy grin rushing his fingers through his curls ..” great eye catch “ he grinned and sipped on his drink .” Well.. I’m not sure really wanted a new opportunity a new eye to things inspiration I suppose “ he lowered his head and slide his hair behind his ear some ..” and a new beginning things home weren’t always the greatest I guess I wanted a new fresh start .” Conan looked over at Hyeok chewing the inner part of his lip while looking down . When the other avoided his question some how he didn’t want to pry or make him fee uncomfortable so he lets it go for now ..” and you ? What made you settle here “ He watch her as his wet muscle swiped over his lips then met the others eyes

@◦ g. conan ʳᵒᵐᵃⁿᵗᶦᶜᵐᵉⁿᶦᵃᶜ While Conan was walking backwards, Hyeok was extrapolating months into the future. He didn't like what he was foreseeing. He could acknowledge that there was a part of him that resonated strongly with Conan's songs, but was that really enough? His life wasn't suited for serious romance. And even if it was, could he really give up his vices for more than a few months? What were the chances he wouldn't go start looking elsewhere? Yeah, this made-up future looked grim. Just like that, Hyeok succeeded in ripping himself out of fairyland and back into the real world. Conan was cute. He liked his smile (and his music, and his looks). That's all that he'd focus on for now, no need to get ahead of himself. Feeling more grounded helped him relax and he grinned at the other. "Lamp pole coming up.", he chuckled. "The States, hm. You do look American.", he nodded, pretending that he'd ment enough people from the US to recognise their look. "What made you stick around, specifically?", he asked without answering Conan in the slightest. He was going to, he just had more questions first, and he wanted to see how long he could go without revealing anything before the cute guy protested. A smile playing on his lips, he took a sip of his drink and then gathered the droplets of coffee left on his tiers with a quick swipe of his tongue.

@◦ e. hyeokjin ᶜᵃᵖᵘᶜᶜᶦⁿᶦ Conan tilted his head to the side as he kept his backwards walking making sure he didn’t bump into anyone and taking a few sips here and there of his coffee while watching a Hyeok check his phone . The little swirls of anxiousness were in the core of his stomach as he felt nervous being with him like this . He was happy thought something inside him felt deep joy seeing him in person sense the two have been talking back and forth on the dating app .. so it made him question ..’ is this a date…? Or just hanging out —‘ shaking his thoughts he listen to the question being asked of him and he smiles as he replies ..” The states , United States , I decided to travel I love traveling and then found my self in this quote city fell right into it “ he chimed ..” what about you .. tell me more about yourself ..” he smiled ..” I’ll do the same ofc “

@◦ g. conan ʳᵒᵐᵃⁿᵗᶦᶜᵐᵉⁿᶦᵃᶜ Hyeok could not believe his eyes when Conan twirled into a few backward strides. He had never seen anyone do that outside of movies, and yet it suited Conan so well. He caught up to the other while he gazed up at the sky, and Hyeok briefly joined him before focusing his gaze back at the other people on the sidewalk, just in case he had to redirect someone so no one bumped into Conan. He had no idea what he was doing, or what they were going to talk about, so for now he just took out his phone and checked what the way to the park was. "Where did you live before moving here?", he asked after tucking his phone away. How exactly did smalltalk work again? .
