Yeah the lix jeong are both caught up in a restaurant shooting but maybe they’re both there as friends? jeongin has to reveal himself somehow as (insert mafia codename idk what it is rn) and he panics afterwards or during the shooting? and kidnaps lix HSJDJS
Perhaps beforehand lix has been investigating the group innie is in and the shooting they both experience is what helps lix piece everything together and before he could arrest (?) or question the younger male, he isknocked out? Bdjd
Lix in his mind is probably questioning their friendship (or more eue ) and wanting to ask why he hid it from the aussie or idk.

so this plot i did way long ago, it was kinda like both characters were in a restaurant at the same time...shots were fired from a rival gang and the undercover cop stepped in to save the mafia boss's life. the mafia boss got suspicious and literally threw the cop into the back of his car and drove him to an undisclosed location. once there, he was interrogated and such,,, and then the cop essentially allowed himself to kinda be like, a plaything for the mafia boss...letting him use him how he wished and even making him commit crimes to prove he was 'loyal' :>
