I didn’t actually think the ocean was so big.” She admitted, just staring out at the water until Chris offered the sunscreen. “I should probably wear it just in case. I don’t think I can get sunburn, but I don’t want to test it and find out.” She admitted with a little laugh, stepping closer and pulling off her sun dress and letting it fall onto the blanket.

"right?" he agreed with a nod, coming to stand next to her. "it's amazing how beautiful and how dangerous the ocean can be at the same time. plus, there's so much that hasn't even been discovered yet. that's kinda crazy when you think about it, y'know?" ripping his gaze away from the glistening water, chris glanced at the small bag he packed and fished out the sunscreen. "do you need any of this?" he asked while shaking the tube around a bit.

"It's absolutely perfect." Irene agreed, her eyes locked on the water that seemed to stretch out forever in front of her. She'd heard the sound of the waves that night she'd come with her friends when she'd tried alcohol for the first time, but finally seeing the ocean was an entirely different experience. It was breathtaking and she couldn't help just opening staring at it as the waves washed up onto shore and nearly reached their feet. "Chris, it's beautiful."

still linking arms with her, chris guided irene toward the beach, keeping his feet safe in his sandals from the scorching hot sand until the reached closer to the water. "the sun is so bright today. it's lovely!" he chirped, then finally released her so he could spread out the blanket he quickly grabbed from his bed before they left. "what a perfect day to have to show you the ocean, honestly."

"really? huh...well, i'm always looking for a traveling buddy, if you're interested. i could even take you with me to australia. you'd be disappointed to find out that i'm not the only one with this kind of accent, though." chris laughed, pausing his ministrations and playfully squeezing her shoulders before dumping more of the lotion onto his palms. after finishing up, he applied a quick layer onto his own skin and smiled at her. "are you ready to experience the ocean, little miss? i'll make sure nothing bad happens to you while we're in there, okay?"

@christopher bang. His hands on her bare skin felt good, each spot he touched seemed more sensitive than she remembered and it caused her to shiver a little as her eyes fell closed. The warmth of the sun felt incredible too and she couldn't wait to get in the water. "I haven't traveled anywhere except to the manor and here. I want to see more of the world though, I want to see as much as I can." Having spent so many years stuck in the walls of the house she'd lived in she was itching to see as much as she could. She was craving that adventure, even if the idea of it did scare her a little bit. The world was very big, and there was just so much still for her to experience.

"yep! i wasn't great in school, but i do remember that fact. besides, i've traveled enough...and i see the ocean in lots of the areas i visit. it's so beautiful." chris took a moment to compose himself before swallowing a bit of saliva and bobbing his head in a brief nod. "hopefully, i manage to get everywhere." he said quietly, trying to hide his nerves as best as he could as he squirted some of the lotion onto his hands and began to apply it to her shoulders and upper back.

@christopher bang. "Does it really? I heard about that but I guess I didn't believe it until now..." Shaking her head to clear she smiled warmly, lifting her hair to pull it up into a bun so it would be out of the way. "Could you help me? I don't want to miss any spots." She turned so her back was to him, watching the other beach goers as they seemed to be playing games and building sculptures in the sand. It seemed to be a popular place to be, and she could see why. The water was beautiful even if it was a little terrifying.

"no? then, i suppose it must shock you that the ocean makes up most of the world. pretty scary, huh? we only inhabit a very small part." once she answered his question about the sunscreen, chris shifted his gaze back to her and tried his absolute best not to stare. after all, it wasn't every day that the wolf saw such a stunning woman in nothing but her bathing suit. "i- uh-" he stuttered out before clearing his throat. "um, do you need help applying some? or do you want to do it yourself?"
