squinting at the coffee machine who chose to last-minute act up after the baker had pressed a button to dispense a cup of espresso for a customer, hyori laid her hands onto the curves of her hips and her right feet tapped nervously against the wooden-glaze floor while watching it 'reset' itself again. after what seemed to feel like a good fifteen minutes, she tried again and pressed the espresso button and it finally and successfully dispensed. as soon as a cup was made, she quickly served it out to the waiting customer and apologized for the slight delay. she then made her way over to the cashier point and smiled upon the unfamiliar customer. "hello there! fancy a pastry and a cuppa of coffee?", she brightly greeted the new customer, not really hearing the loud rumbling given off from the other's stomach.

@✠ ⋮ mo hyori。 she walked in the bakery, humming softly as she glanced around. the building smelled delicious as she was already hit with the scent of fresh bread and pastries. emilia heard her stomach grumbling and blushed as she made her way to the counter, looking up at the menu. how would she choose? it all looked so delicious!

@✠ ⋮ wilhelmina harker。 /her hand pauses mid-air and a look of worry washes over her visage, making the young woman wonder if she has said something wrong. mirroring the older woman's expression after, her hand slowly moved down and rested against her side and her tense shoulders eventually turn flaccid after hearing her words/
Oh i'm so sorry, mama izzy. it keep slipping my mind.
/casually tells a white lie like it is nothing and her mother nudges her in the side before hyori is tucked into mina's arms for a warm tight hug. as soon as she get released, she clasps her hands together in glee and accompanies that with a cheeky smile/
baguettes! plain, garlic and parmesan oregano. the latter being the latest addition.

@✠ ⋮ mo hyori。 (an audible pearl–clutching gasp escapes with all the melodramatic theatrical power she can muster, eyes wide like a baby doe caught in the headlights of a massive truck on the freeway as she looks back at her favorite little baker bun)
how many times do i have to tell you, hyo?! i'm not a granny! .....yet.
(finally releases a small huff in distaste before walking up to the counter and still reaching both arms out to engulf hyori into a warm tight hug, swaying happily until pulling away to give the girl some air and smiling wide)
alright kid, what'd you make fresh today? gotta make sure your skills are still up to par!

@✠ ⋮ wilhelmina harker。 /after helping her father putting out the last batch of bread for sale, she heads to the back to start cleaning up since she will not be baking any more for the day. after what seems to be a couple hours, she hangs her apron up on the apron hook and joins her mother at the cashier, helping to pack each piece of bread and pastry alike into individual eco-packaging. with a smile, she bids each leaving customer a good day before spotting a familiar face coming into the shop. with her hand raised to greet with a wave, her smile widens in response/ hello granny izzy!
