As supernatural beings began to appear, along with them came the use of magic. In the RP, there are 6 types of magic that can be used: air, earth, fire, gravity, light, and water. Other types of magic do exist, but not for the people in this rp to use. People of all species can be blessed with the ability to use magic. They are only able to use one type of magic, however, and their specific abilities are usually dependent on the person. There is a limit of how many people per species can use magic, so make sure you read and reference the species page.

As stated above, there are 6 main types of magic that can be used in the RP for those blessed with the ability:

• Air.
• Earth.
• Fire.
• Gravity.
• Light.
• Water.

Most people who are able to use magic were born with the ability (with the exception of humans). Some, however, were specifically given their powers by a being called the Creator who gave it to them for a specific reason. These reasons vary from person to person, but almost everyone who has been given a power also has a strong sense of spirituality and has received their power after experiencing a hardship that is relevant to their specific affinity.

As of now, all species (with the exception of spirits and treants who can only use specific types of magic) are able to have any magic type as their affinity. If your muse is an elemental, they are limited to whatever type of element they are and are all born as their magical affinity.

To be honest, there is no specific way you'll need to use magic with your muse, and we encourage you to come up with a creative use for your muse's powers. Just be aware that using magic will drain your muse's life force the more they use it. For every sub-ability your muse has under their branch of magic, you will need to have at least two weaknesses or limitations for it. Weaknesses and limitations must be relevant to the muses's specific powers for this reason. Also, because elementals are naturally made up of their specific element, they will also need to not only be more aware of how they affect the environment, but also how much they're using their magic as it drains their life force much faster than it does for any other species.
