Title: Unbirthday: A Twisted Tale
Author: Elizabeth J. Braswell
Genre: Fantasy / Twist / Horror/mystery
About: The book is basically Alice in wonderland, but she got older and wonderland is going through things.
Thoughts: Ah .... tbh I finished it and didn't like it. I didn't like the main character (alice) she was so annoying ... like she was just too much for me. I stopped reading it ene because it was dumb. Then I finished reading it and the ending was good.
Recommend? Yes. If your into Disney they have a bunch of twisted tails I personally just didn't like this one.
Synopsis:
A student who wants to make a movie finds himself trapped in Shibuya when giant flying goldfish arrive and begin eating people. Shibuya Goldfish is about him and the people he meets in this hell trying to survive the goldfish and also find out what’s causing everything and how to escape from Shibuya
Thoughts:
I’ve been really enjoying this series so far, I’m a big fan of horror and the art in it is both gorgeous and disturbing. I like the characters too, although the male lead is somewhat dull and boring as is the case for many anime and manga protagonists. The other mains are all very intriguing and interesting, especially the homeless man introduced in volume 2.
There has been two cases of pantyshots, one of which was later revealed to have been purposeful, the other still somewhat uncomfortable. Other than those two instances there has not been many fan service so far.
Would I recommend it?:
Yes! If you are a fan of horror and want to see some super weird concepts or ideas (like giant killer goldfish) then Shibuya Goldfish is a must read.
