@ʚ ten ɞ hayi's eyes scanned the man as they moved up and down, they were scanning everything the man was doing. they even noticed how he packed away the pack of cigarettes he had. she wasn't going to say anything, even though, she never agreed with the things he did, he was her best friend, she wasn't going to nag him. she was going to let it go in the end. she opens the door more so as an indicator he was in invited in as she stood in the doorway. "hmm... a party you say, well, i'm glad you made the smarter choice." she said with a small laugh pushing pass her lips as she nodded her head. "yeah, my roommate is gone, so you are in the clear." she said as she gestured for him to come in.

she turned around to walk more into her apartment, letting ten close and lock the door. "you can rest, eat whatever, you know where my room is, just don't touch anything on my desk" she said as she walked to the kitchen. "how long is mar'i at her grandparents? do you want any tea?" that was the thing about hayi, she was quite talkative, but only when it came to asking questions, and she was constantly active. it was hard for hayi to sit down and have a conversation. yet, ten was good at making her relax and be able to just sit or lay down.

@ʚ l. hayi ɞ ten was exhausted, head tipped back and eyes closed, brain threatening to cut contact right then and there. he wasn't sure what he was expecting of his day, their normal routine often being a bit tiring and he was pretty checked out for anything requiring too much effort. he could feel his hold on the bottles weakening, only to strengthen when the door opened to reveal what he'd consider his best friend if not bordering on more. the greeting earned a hum and he straightened, rolling his shoulders with a yawn. 'mm, that would be me,' he answered, shaking off the previous action. he bit back a tired grin as his hand shifted, pushing the white pack into his pocket and out of her view so he could at least get a few minutes without the comments.

moving from his spot across the hall, he approached and held out one of the bottles. 'mar'i is at her grandparents and i was invited to a party,' he began, clicking his tongue softly, 'and, we both know what happens when i go to parties, so. i'm here to bother you so /you/ don't have to come find me in a hospital or alley somewhere.' it was a morbid answer but realistic none the less, knowing she'd probably seen him in every state possible and he didn't like worrying her too much. 'is it alright if i stay? i'll be good, promise.'

@ʚ ten ɞ It was an almost normal day for hayi, other than the fact that she is, for once, working from home. Normally her job required her being outside a lot or just being out a lot, as a photographer. She was a photographer for some magazine, occasionally a fashion show, some personal event, really anything. Along with the fact she works part-time at a flower shop. So, her being home at this time was weird for her and it was definitely killing her on the inside of not being at one of her jobs. Hayi didn’t need to work two jobs, as her photographer job pays her great, but not working stresses her out, yet working two jobs stresses her out.

She was padding around her apartment in her normal attire, sweatpants, a long oversize shirt and her hair in her typical messy bun. her roommate out for the time, as she was mindlessly just walking around. The tv was playing her favorite show as she hated the silence and could never come to terms with being okay in it. She was rolling her massaging ball on her shoulders and neck (i really don’t know if that’s what its called lmaoo) as she was interrupted by the sound of a knock? Her head whipped around the door as she wasn’t sure if that’s what she heard but she figured she would go check anyway. She walked to the door as she opened it halfway and peeked her head out and her eyes instantly started blinking rapidly. “Ten?” her eyes scanned the man and instantly landed on the pack of cigarettes, which instantly made her narrow her eyes at the man. “What’s up?” hayi asked him, a bit confused, as he normally texts her before coming over.

@ʚ l. hayi ɞ with mar'i at her grandparents and his roommate requesting the apartment for the evening, ten was left to pad through the halls until he reached a far too familiar door. he didn't carry much on him, phone and wallet in his back pocket while he gripped two bottles of coke between his knuckles, a pack of cigarettes carefully tucked within the curled fingers; he expected a lecture. bringing a hand up to tap his knuckles against the door in a half assed knock, he was hoping he wouldn't be met with his friends roommate - they weren't fans of each other. he looked pretty rough, hair a mess and looking like he hadn't slept in days, which seemed normal.

shifting his weight to lean against wall on the opposite side of the hall, he waited. he figured it was possible no one was even home for the time being, it was prime work hours. if anything, he could always go and stay with his exes parents but that wasn't high on his list.
