Origin: Many Sol pack members can trace their roots back to old Solaria, with either their ancestors having fled the war or migrated after it ended.

Pack Structure: In spite of their adaption to the modern world, the Sol pack retained a rigid hierarchy. Chaebol families maintain the majority of the power and influence within the ranks, which means that leadership is often inherited through nepotism. Many of these families still prioritize passing the torch to their first-born alpha and this has created an imbalance within the structure of the pack, with alphas often holding the respected positions of power. That isn't to say that betas or omegas are outwardly considered second-class citizens, but the disparity in representation can certainly make it seem that way.

Thoughts on the Stella Pack: the Sol pack considers Stella to be stagnant and stuck in the past, clinging to archaic beliefs. There is, of course, a wide spectrum of thought and tolerance from person to person, but some words that a Sol pack member may use to describe a member of the Stella pack could be "wild, feral, uncouth, or uncivilized."

Hindrances: Because the Sol pack has been living in a modern society for generations, they no longer needed to shift to hunt for food or make traversing a sprawling landscape easier. Nowadays, emphasis is put on gaining control of the wolf within and suppressing it, so many children do not shift once they are older than six. This has left many so wholly disconnected from their wolf that they actually find it difficult to shift later in life outside of the full moon. Some members come into adulthood feeling like they were done a disservice being raised in this manner, while others continue to view the wolf as a remnant of a barbaric past they need to overcome.

Ferocity: Because many are raised to suppress their wolf, members of the Sol pack are especially prone to episodes of ferocity when under extreme stress.

Beliefs: The Sol pack in general are not very spiritual. Many have come to think of the legends of Haeshik and Dalsun as just a story to make sense of phenomenons that were unexplainable in the past. Believe in superstitions, fate, and fortune are for those that can't make sense of the chaos of their lives any other way.

Courtship Practices: Because of pressure from the elder generations, they tend to uphold more rigid traditions and beliefs, such as not marrying those deemed to be “beneath” them on the socioeconomic ladder. Some families still support arranged marriages within their pack and engage in dated courtship practices. It is not unheard of to have a marriage of convenience from a financial standpoint, but have a relationship on the side for pleasure. Usually if a person wants to court someone, they must first appeal to the parents of their intended (sometimes by giving a dowry) and get their permission to move forward. Some Sol members participate in the yearly Mating Run, as it is open to all packs. However, they also have a yearly masquerade ball hosted at the Solarium where many couples attend to show off their intent. It culminates in the couples removing their masks for each other at the end of the night.

Beliefs: The Stella pack is not necessarily blindly religious. Many recognize the tales as attempts to make sense of a chaotic world or to be allegories to live by. They may not worship Dalsun and Haeshik as divine, while others do. However, they do widely revere nature and also have strong beliefs in fortunes, astrology, superstitions, receiving guidance from the ancestors, and fate.

Ferocity: Because the Stella pack embraces their inner wolves, the line between morality and instinct can become blurred. They are more prone to letting their emotions run wild and losing control.

Courtiship Practices: Many Stella pack members are raised to romanticize the concept of "fated" mates, though such a thing isn't proven to actually exist. It's more of a nice, flowery concept. However, non-traditional, polyamorous, or fleeting partnerships are also common. Every year the pack hosts a traditional Mating Run for the region.

Thoughts on the Sol pack: They tend to condemn the leadership of the Sol pack for shunning tradition and not caring about nature, but view the rest of the members as lost and misguided.
