@ji changmin ⚓︎ relaaaax. *he playfully rolled his eyes at the other* i’ll get you the ingredients and you’ll give me my cookies. deal? i’m sure your customers just need a charming man, like yours truly, to make them feel better. you should learn a thing or two from me, changmin. heh.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ *he quirks a brow at you, not really believing your statement but too busy with his meal to interject* mm, i believe we’re headed to japan… but we won’t get there until june. do you really have a lot to do?

*he sighs arranging everything and placing the empty boxes together*

@ji changmin ⚓︎ it’s not awkward if you know what places to avoid. *he shrugs at the other’s words, taking a bite of his sandwich and thinking to himself* you should lighten up a bit and enjoy the cruise too. it could make work less tense for you.

@ham jinsik ⚓︎ "You are welcome to come any time" Changmin said with a happy smile before he disappeared into the kitchen and came back after few moments with a tray of freshly backed croissants, he put them in display. "So, what are your plans for today? I here that the theatre is going to put some new movies on show tonight" Changmin suggested since he didn't know what to do later today.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ "i guess that makes sense too. always good to have a second opinion, right? especially someone with a fresh perspective," he nods in agreement, being able to relate to those feelings. "well, with that generous offer, you might find me here more often than not."

@ham jinsik ⚓︎ "All kinds of help are appreciated, in any way I do enjoy making desserts for people and sometimes I fail figure out of it is too sweet or too bland that's why it is nice to have another opinion." Changmin smiles reassuringly not wanting to give any bad impressions on Jinsik. "Whether you can try something new or not, I'm always ready to serve you food any time you want."

@ji changmin ⚓︎ he laughs at your attempt to defend yourself, raising a hand to wave dismissively, "ah, i'm just joking, buddy. i would be more than happy to help taste your food, if you would consider my opinions useful? after all, i am but just a mere commoner in the realm of good food."

You are lucky I can't be mad for too long
I have to meet our visitors with a smile
*he heaves a light sigh as he collects the empty boxes together*
I have to be working when it is busy here and when it is finally not busy it is already the end of the day besides it would be awkward being around the guests outside the cafe

@ji changmin ⚓︎ *his gaze scans you over while he listens, shaking his head* don’t apologize, really. i’ll help you with anything else, if needed. *he nods once more before beaming at your invitation* dinner time with changmin? aren’t i a lucky guy *he proceeds to grab one of the wrapped sandwiches* how come you haven’t taken some time to visit the pool? in fact, i never see you anywhere else other than here.

@son youngjae ⚓︎ *taking a long deep breath he he aches to a hand to grab your arm before you could leave* Forget it for now... I will come up with something until get other supplies. Sorry for yelling *He lets go of your arms and bends down to take one of the boxes instead and starts unpacking* have you eaten? You can grab yourself a sandwich while I finish this then I will make your cookies

@ji changmin ⚓︎ that’s cute. *he comments but soonafter becomes startled by the outburst, head turning to watch you, hands covering his ears a little* oy, you’re so quick to assume i didn’t bring it! i just stated that we should talk about it later. *he tries to fix his case, standing to meet your level* … since it seems like that’s most urgent, i’ll just go get the the other unopened box. *he nods, moreso to convince himself of his lie before walking past you to find his escape aSAP*

The cruise already promised people with best service and best service is what I can do... *he speaks proudly of himself and crosses his arms against his chest while watching you curiously avoiding his question* Eric! You didn't bring the cocoa power right? Now how am I supposed to deal with continuous request of chocolate dessert now all I have is enough to make few things and if we move now it won't be easy for me to make those sweets. *he cries out in frustration turning his back to you while trying his best not to slam his hand on the counter surface.* why do you like making me suffer ?

@ji changmin ⚓︎ *it’s amusing to him noting the amount of effort you put into your craft with as little as taking caution on the expiration dates, a soft chuckle heaving from him upon you agreeing to make his sweets* can you blame a dude? you really know your way around sweets, changmin. — oh? the cocoa…? *he swiftly turns back his attention on stocking the syrups* …let’s focus on finishing up with these syrups first. we can talk about the cocoa later, mm. *he doesn’t face you, taking a bunch of the syrup bottles within his grasp before bending low to organize them in the shelf*

@son youngjae ⚓︎ *he grabs some of the packs checking the expiry date of each carefully* Did you make sure they all are fresh? I don't want to worry about expiry dates right. Really I don't want to randomly use things just because they might spoile on board. *He was half serious half sarcastic because they would be on another stop couple days later* All you want is your sweet tooth treats but sure I will make you some cookies. Have you brought the dark cocao I was asking for since our last stop?

@ji changmin ⚓︎ relaaax, i got you some syrups for your uh… *he paused* cappuccinos? i don’t know what you call them. *he shrugs in nonchalance and proceeds to ignore the sass in your next statement, his focus returning to taking out the products* oh yeah, and some chocolate chips! *he turns to hand you a pack* maybe you could make a batch of those cookies you make. … and maybe save me a batch like the angel barista you are?

@son youngjae ⚓︎ *being busy in the kitchen to add the toppings on a patch of tarts when hearing the noises coming from a box* Hey, What did you bring this time? Hopefully no more nuts, please. I can no longer create new recipes for them. *He decides to finish the last couple tarts before clearing his hands and walk over to see what you're doing* instead of making promises, you can just leave the box at the back and I can unpack it when I'm done. Is there something that could spoil fast or something? *curiousity gets the best of him though as he watches you taking out other small packs*

@ji changmin ⚓︎ *walking in with a heavy box in hands, he enters in and through behind the counter before saluting you* hey changmin! thought you might need some help with some stocking. *his gaze is playful as always, placing the box on the ground before beginning to place things upon the cabinets* and don’t worry, i won’t make a mess like last time.

@ham jinsik ⚓︎ "hey! that's not what I meant... Guinea pigs are cute little creatures plus they are not for testing besides you are a friend not a pet" Changmin tried to defend himself but failed with a heavy sigh in defeat. "It is okay if you don't want to try but since you have good taste about food I was hoping for little help."

he sips on a shaken espresso martini.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ "and that's impressive in its own right. if it were me, i'd probably get distracted or overwhelmed from all the ingredients all over the place. i can barely finish preparing a dinner for myself without being completely exhausted by the end of it." he laughs as he shakes his head, bringing his hand up to run through his hair. "so.. you're going to use me as a guinea pig? i don't know how to feel about that," he hums teasingly, letting out a sigh of feigned disappointment.

@ham jinsik ⚓︎ "it is not that hard... Some need to breathe over time and rest before baking some take shorter time so I try to make them in the order that makes everything ready in a short time... Besides there is still a lot more to make" Changmin smiled shyly not expecting to be praised on something he does every day. "this is actually a good idea, I have already roasted some coffee beans and we have pistachios so I kind of have some ideas... I will try to make something for testing first to see if people will like them... Where can i find you after lunch time? I will ask your opinion then"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ "seems like you had a busy morning? how did you manage to make all of these by yourself?" he lets out a soft whistle in impressment, eyeing over the pastries you've put out. "mm, honestly, i'm not the best person to ask considering i'm not the pickiest with food. i literally eat anything edible, and even if it's not," he laughs lightly, "and as a fellow artist, you should use this chance to try out recipes you've always wanted to try!"

@ham jinsik ⚓︎ Changmin arranged the cookies together each flavor in a basket and the Madelines too on the shelves before he stared at the huge pack of pistachio in the corner of his small kitchen. "Yes, there must be a place for a sweet dessert to sweeten the day... Tell me Jinsik, is there any dessert or even any sandwich that you might be craving for the next couple days? I want to check if we have enough ingredients while stopping here in seoul"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ "i suppose you're right. i guess i should fill myself up with proper food so that i can properly explore this place." he mumbles to himself in agreement. "but there's always room for dessert. and with desserts this good, i'll make space."

@ham jinsik ⚓︎ "that's really sweet of you to say bug still having treats instead of proper meals is not something I would advice even for the sake of business" Changmin moved from one side of the kitchen at the back to another decorating the cakes and arranging them in the cool display one by one. "But I will always be happy to give you a good treat whenever you come"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ "anybody could make a grilled cheese and scrambled egg sandwich, but not many could make a good one. and well, if the treats here are as good as this sandwich you made, maybe i'll be having treats in place of proper meals from now on."

@ham jinsik ⚓︎ Changmin smiled shyly "This is one sandwich anyone could make besides the main food is at the restaurant, people only come here for treats" He stated the fact but actually felt grateful towards Jinsik's encouragement. "we both have a good start for the day, I hope it continues"
