@ji changmin ⚓︎ Eunwoo’s smile broadened at the reply from the special customer. “And you’re right. I was the best decision you could have made,” he let out, followed by a wink. He then straightened his back, not leaning on the counter anymore, and set aside an empty poco grande glass while he listened to the other man. “I’m Eunwoo and, well, I work here. During the day, you can find me lazing around in my room or strolling around the cruise. I’ll make sure to stop by the café next time I’m craving a snack.” The bartender added pineapple juice, coconut cream, and rum into a mixer, all while speaking. He was used to talking to guests while he worked, so he could manage the multitasking well. Soon, he poured the drink into the glass he had picked and finished it with a slice of pineapple and a cherry. “Here, to start you up. This is one of the guests’ favorites,” he said as he slid the glass on the counter towards Changmin.

@cha eunwoo ⚓︎ Changmin kept looking around for one particular face but it wasn't easy to spot him with all the people gathering at the bar. He almost lost hope thinking that the place is too busy for him to be around when he finally saw the one he has been looking for approaching him with a smile that Changmin couldn't help mirroring with one of his own. "I came thinking it is the best decision I could make. And I'm happy I did" Changmin could feel his cheek bones hurting from smiling too much but he didn't mind at first.

Clearing this throat before he might leaveok like a weird man, Changmin straightened his back up "My name is Changmin and I work in the cafe, but I never got the chance to ask about your name" He stated then he locked his dry lips removing both hands from the bar and placing them on his lap.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Eunwoo had been working at the cruise’s bar for a few months. It was his first actual job as a bartender, he had only done one or another party as a freelancer before. His drinks weren’t the most refined either in taste or appearance, yet the customers would keep on returning to him. The reason wasn’t hard to figure out, as his mouth talked more than his hands worked on drinks. And what a sweet-talker he was.

It was early in the night and business was still slow. He finished serving some guests a pair of margaritas and turned to the figure who had just taken a seat, just to have a smile immediately form. Eunwoo remembered that face well, despite the short meeting. “So you did come,” he said as he leaned on the counter, right in front of the other man. “I like guys who chase the fun.”

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "I know I know, don't worry ... our captain is really buys controlling the cruise itself he won't even notice if we talk about him like that" Changmin stated before looking excitedly as Hansol mixed their drinks "what is the ratio of the two? or is it just something random?" Changmin wasn't particularly curious since alcohol wasn't part of his interests but he really wanted to focus on the moment he is having drinks rather than thinking about a meeting that might never happen. "Sure! for the next meeting"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Hansol shook his head with a guilty smile and wave his hand to indicate a ‘no’. “I’m just kidding.” Acknowledging the other’s words with a nod, Hansol glanced down towards the empty cups of theirs. “I hope you’ll get to talk to him again! For tonight, let’s drink the feeling away.” He started pouring another shot glass of vodka and mixed it with the carbonated drink before he held up his drink to click with the other. “Cheers for the next meeting?”

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "Is it possible to have such power?" Changmin asked curiously, he wasn't seriously believing the joke but at the same time he was curious about the possibilities. "I don't even see our captain that much there is no need to worry about that. I just hope to be able to see him at least one more time" he sighed heavily and nodded his head moving his glass close to Hansol "Sure, It is really good and I love it so yes, let's have another shot." Changmin's tone went a little higher in excitement knowing he will have another drink that he enjoyed.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Looking at the other shifting in his seat, a soft chuckle escaped the brunette. “I see! I rarely get to see him too, maybe he is too popular that captain have to restrict access?” Hansol cracked a joke before backpedaling. “I’m joking. Don’t tell the captain I said that.” He pressed a finger against his mouth. Watching the man downing his glass instantly, Hansol followed suit. Upon hearing the other’s comment, the brunette nodded in agreement. “Right? Do you want another one?” He asked, his hand on the vodka bottle, ready to create another concoction of the drink.

@choi hansol ⚓︎ Changmin shifted in his seat getting curious and excitedly hoping for more information if possible. "Yes him. .. I only came here to see him but I'm out of luck. It is understandable, if the cafe is busy during the day, I think the bar is busy most of the time especially at night" He lowered his head feeling quite disappointed at the situation. When the bartender came over with their drinks, Changmin looked up and looked around before watching how their drink came together in the shot glass. "I only smell the apple soda now so I think I will like this one" he stated with a smile as he held his glass curiously looking at it before he downed the liquor in one go. "This is sweet... I like it"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ “Ah, that handsome bartender.” Withholding the name to make the male beside him even more curious, Hansol gave a small smile. “He is probably busy serving other customers. They are usually the busiest out of all of us.” The brunette attempts to explain as he watched the bartender coming back with their drinks. Giving a nod, Hansol responded to the next question, “Perhaps.”. Thanking the bartender, he uncapped the bottle of vodka and pour the content into shot glasses before transferring into another glass. Opening the can of apple soda next, he filled the glass to the brim with the carbonated drink. “Here you go. You shouldn’t taste the alcohol.”

@choi hansol ⚓︎ Changmin sighed heavily looking at his empty glass "The one you told me about, I don't know his name but I thought I would be able to talk to him if I came here.. I guess I'm not lucky this time" He said and smiled weakly. "I should be brave next time and talk to him, right?"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Nodding as thanks, Hansol glanced down at his drink and sip on it when the bartender leaves before he turned his head back towards the male beside him upon feeling the tap on his shoulder. Listening to the male, Hansol raised his brows in curiosity. “The other bartender? Which one?” Having a slight idea of who the other person might be talking about, he wanted to make sure first.

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "you're right. It won't hurt and I will stop if I start feeling tipsy anyway. " Changmin stated with a little bit of courage evident in his tone as he finished the last bit of his previous drink in one go. "I like apple sofa too the red apple not the green one" He added to make sure he gets what he wanted correctly before nodding to the bartender that left. He took a moment of silent to himself before he tapped Hansol's shoulder "Hey, do you know where that other bartender is? I thought he would be around" He asked curiously about Eunwoo even though he didn't know is name at the moment.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Looking at the other’s expression in amusement, Hansol indicated with a pinch of his finger. “Just a little won’t hurt.” He waved to the bartender to order two shots of vodka and two cans of soft drinks. “Hmm, I’ll take a carbonated apple soda and…” the brunette turned to look at the other, silently asking what type of soft drink he wanted.

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "vodka?! Isn't it supposed to be one of the strongest alcohol? This is what I've always known" Changmin was surprised by the suggestion Hansol made. He was worried since he doesnt know his limits either and didn't want to become drunk and cause trouble to others, yet he was curious. "Well, just a small shot we can try, I don't want to make a scene of I get drunk"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Pondering on the question he was given, Hansol tilted his head up before looking back at the other. “Probably something lighter. Instead of 5 spirits in one, maybe just a bottle of vodka to mix it with other soft drinks as a start.” He explained. “Shall we give it a try?” He asked, seeing that they are already at the bar.

@choi hansol ⚓︎ Changmin still made a face following his second try of the drink but soon he smiled recognizing the tea flavor and something a little fruity to his tongue than the bitter alcohol. "You sound like someone who knows well about alcohol and people. If I ever ask you to suggest a drink for me knowing that I only had beer so far, what would be your suggestion? I'm curious" Changmin asked with a curious look in his face as he tilted his head to look at Hansol's face.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Hansol returned with a grin on his face. “Thanks mate!” Glancing towards the glass in the other’s hand, he chuckled when he saw the other attempting to try the drink again. “Beer is certainly the introduction to alcohol.” He gave a small nod in acknowledgement at the next sentence before shaking his head. “I’m more of a social drinker. More than cocktails, I’ve been trying to learn mocktails, for people to start their day with. Just a personal hobby of mine.”

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "there is always a spot open for friends" Changmin said with a wide smile on his lips. He was honestly excited to make anything for people who come to him at any time. "well, the only alcohol I usually have is beer. I rarely get the chance to try anything else that's why I'm not used to alcohol taste" he admitted with an innocent smile as he got the courage to have another sip of his drink. "It will take a bit to get used to it. How about you? Are you a drinker?"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Hansol nodded at the tea recommendation. “Let’s follow this expert’s advice. can I pre-order?” He chuckled before looking at the other taking a sip and making a frowning expression. “Something?” He glanced down at his glass. “tastes like normal iced tea to me. Just a little spiked.” The brunette sips on his own drink after the comment. “Not a drinker?”

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "people say it is best served with black tea, personally I liked it with the mint tea, especially since it is too sweet for my taste" Changmin explained what he read when he was searching for the recipe. He wasn't amused with the idea at first but the results made him feel proud. Taking a sip of his drink, Changmin couldn't help frown at the bitter taste that hit his taste buds hard when he least expected it. He squinted his eyes and shock his head before letting out a soft chuckle. "I didn't expected this, wow, it is really something... Might be the only drink I will have today if it is this strong"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ “I look forward to that.” Hansol returned with a chuckle. Giving a nod, he lifted another smile. “Yes, I’m quite fond of tea. Maybe you can give me some tea pairing recommendations with the baklava.” He glances down towards the paper swan the other has folded. Clicking his glass against the others rather lightly, Hansol took a sip of his drink before reacting to the bitter and sweet taste of the cocktail. “It’s good.” Referring to the drink, he placed the glass down and turn to look at the other.

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "Rose water?! I have to look this up for an upgrade tomorrow... Well, I guess it was just a lucky hit for me" Changmin smiled shyly again looking down then looked at Hansol with a wide grin. "I will be happy to serve you tea we have a wide variety of options that will catch your interest if you are a tea lover" He grinned happily and placed the paper swan on the side when the drinks were served to them. "Now this looks like some iced tea let's give it a try. Cheers" He held his glass to click it with the other's.

@ji changmin ⚓︎ “Ah, baklava” Hansol clasped his hands together, able to imagine the taste of the confectionary. “There is once someone made the syrup with rose water, that was delicious.” A bright smile planted on his face. “You must be talented, seeing that people like your creation as soon as you serve” the brunette’s eyes glanced down towards the other’s origami making. “Hm, maybe I’ll have some tea at your cafe in the afternoon?” Turning back toward the bar when the drinks are finally served, hansol thanked the bartender and lift his glass to click it with the other’s drink. “Thanks in advance for buying the drinks. Cheers!”

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "people were asking for something new and we had lots of pistachio so I decided to take the risk and try to make some Arabian desserts I made different baklava with different fillings and it was really interesting. People liked them but I'm not sure if this is how they actually taste. I only followed a recipe I found." Changmin explained while playing with a napkin that was in front of him. He was sharing it into a paper swan. "What are your plans for your free day? Anything in particular you wanted to do?"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Alternating his focus on the bartender that’s making their drinks and the man beside him, Hansol nodded in acknowledgement. “That’s right, finally a free day after a week long of work.” Tilting his head to the side, the brunette smiled when he heard about the other’s update of their work. “That’s awesome. Yeah, kitchen is always a hot place. It’s always very hot whenever I step into either of them.” He pretend to fan himself to emphasis the heat he felt in those locations. “What’s your latest creation?”

@choi hansol ⚓︎ "I'm not scared of spirits but I don't know if I will handle it or not. I'm not alcohol expert" Changmin stated shrugging his shoulders as he didn't want to change his choice for now. "That's sweet. You can enjoy the cruise for a day without having to work. I made lots of sweets today and they were loved. I think today was the best onein the cafe but it was actually tiring for me if I think about it now. I kept going to the kitchen couple times to make new patches of dessert"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Chuckling at the other’s facial expressions, Hansol raised his brows when he became aware that it might be a new drink for the male beside him. “Be careful of that drink, it might sound harmless and taste sweet as if there is no alcohol mixed into it but it houses at least 5 spirits in it.” The crew member warned the other rather exaggeratedly. “Or I hope you’re good at holding your liquor.” He followed up with another soft chuckle. Upon hearing the subsequent question, Hansol lifted a smile. “My day? Same old same old. Fortunately it’s the end of my shift today. I’m having a day off tomorrow so I can hang out late into the night. Yourself? How was your day?” He returned the question to the other.

@choi hansol ⚓︎ Changmin blushed never really expecting such words at the moment. "Anyone could be nervous especially me" He insisted before looking at the name of the drink Hansol picked. He was confused on why the bar had tea among alcohol but he didn't question about that. "Okay, I don't think I have tried it before so I will have it too." Changmin stated before tapping on the wooden bar surface to get the attention of the bartender to get their drinks. "So, How's your day so far? I hope I didn't drag you here and interrupt something"

@ji changmin ⚓︎ Chuckling at the man beside him, Hansol listened to the other's words before shaking his head. "A good looking man being nervous, that's a first." The brunette chuckled before adjusting in his seat. "Hmm.." Staring at the menu intensely, Hansol cupped his chin as if thinking hard on the choices. "I'll start with a long island iced tea please." Finally making a choice, he turned towards the other, letting the other know of his drink order before slouching against the counter table and resting his cheek against his palm, glancing towards the man beside him, not sure if he wants to bring up work as a topic as he isn't really good with small talks.

@choi hansol ⚓︎ Changmin was deep in thought and didn't notice Hansol coming up until he spoke. He could have fallen off his seat but thankfully he didn't. "You came anyway so I'm less nervous now" He smiled back and followef Hansol's eyes looking at the drinks menu blankly since he knew nothing about the names in front of him. "What are you choosing? I will buy it for you"
