Vampire Territory

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "Fair enough,"Zico huffed, pausing to scratch behind his ear. "Let's go then."

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf Chuckling, Sunggyu nudged the older wolf gently in his side. He wasn't meaning to really harm him with his words. "If it's any consolation, you look good for your age." He praised with a playful wink. "Besides, age is just a number. It shouldn't define anything. So don't take it to heart."

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "…Ouch, ouch that's just…ouch," Zico grimaced, shuddering at the thought of how old he was in comparison to the other. "That's quite mean to point out."

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf "Just because I get back aches sometimes doesn't mean I'm an old man. You're old enough to be my dad, you know." Sunggyu teased and began walking in the direction of the cabin so that they could change and get dressed before fetching the deer. Though Zico was older in years, Sunggyu was physically older than him by a little, but it really didn't show since he was shorter.

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "If anyone's a grandpa its you," Zico quipped, rolling back onto all fours. "Lead the way."

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf "Hm... The vampires here sound better than the ones I've run into before. It'd probably be easier to carry the deer in human form. Not to mention we won't have to get fur in our teeth." He chuckled and gently pawed Zico's exposed belly. "You aren't tired already, are you, grandpa? Let's head home."

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "We're all dark side. They might give us some lip, but they're unlikely to attack or anything," Zico rumbled, crouching onto the ground and rolling onto his back.

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf "Are you alright wandering into vampire territory in human form?" He asked with a quirked brow. The younger wolf was a bit concerned with the fact that they left a fresh kill there and was sure the vampires must have been able to sniff it out.

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "Alright, do we come back and get the deer in human form or try dragging it along as wolves?" Zico yawned, shaking the leaves off his own fur then nosing off some of what was on Sunggyu.

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf "Keeping me company in my unfortunately furry state. What a gentleman." Lips curling back from his teeth in a smile, Sunggyu shook out his fur to dislodge the leaves and twigs caught there in the tussle. "We aren't far from home so by the time we get there I might be able to change back. I can feel the night is nearly gone."

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "Yes," Zico answered, hopping off the younger wolf and stretching. "I've been able to change back for a while now, but it'd still feel uncomfortable. Plus, you couldn't change back so why should I?"

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf Sunggyu quickly tried to roll out from beneath the Alpha, an amused growl rumbling in his chest. He stole another glance at the moon and almost couldn't see it since it had sunk below the tops of the trees. "Not too long now, I think." He murmured, a little unsure. He was still getting used to this. Before he met Zico, he would just fall asleep in wolf form on the nights of the full moon and wake up in human without willing the change. "Can you change back already?"

@Sunggyu_Werewolf Zico easily pinned the weaker wolf after a short tussle, a sort of grin on his muzzle as he prodded Sunggyu with his snout. "Now, can you figure out how much longer until you can change back?"

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf By the time Sunggyu registered Zico's presence, it was already too late. He felt the other wolf's body land on his back and rolled them both out of the bush in a flurry of limbs, growing playfully. What were they, puppies?

@Sunggyu_Werewolf Zico spun in a few circles in the small clearing he'd lost Sunggyu in. He could just make out the younger wolf's scent, but mostly just his own. He couldn't track the other like this, their scents were nearly completely one now. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw it: a rustling of bush leaves. And he pounced.

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf Crouching down in the bushes, Sunggyu slowed his breathing and tried to keep as quiet as possible, knowing it wouldn't be long until Zico sniffed him out. Playing hide and seek with a werewolf wasn't really a game at all, it was just delaying the inevitable, but it was still fun. He didn't know what it was, but ever since the change this playful side of him had come out and he had to fight the urge to wag his tail as he waited... The problem was, he couldn't tell when Zico was gaining on him because his scent was almost constantly around him, clinging to his fur. He had to rely on his other senses, daring to peek out of the leaves.

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "I can out track you any day!" Zico howled in return, skidding to a stop when he lost sight of Sunggyu, nose in the air to recatch the scent. He was heading…home.

Sunggyu took off with determination toward where they came from, toward the familiar scent of home. He could tell the other wolf wasn't far behind and feel his teeth graze the fur on his back legs when he tried to catch him. "You're slow in your old age!" He howled back teasingly, veering off to the side and into the cover of some bushes.

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "Sunggyu!" Zico barked, taking off after the younger wolf and snapping at his heels. The other was fast, faster even than Zico who hadn't found the need for any sort of running in a long time.

Glancing up at the moon, Sunggyu's gold eyes flashed in the silvery light as he considered how much time was left. The orb had shrunk in the sky and he could feel Her grip on his soul beginning to loosen, like fingers being pried away. "A few hours maybe. At least for you."

"And I think I just thought of a perfect way to kill that time..." He drawled and nudged Zico in an attempt to knock him off balance before darting a few yards away. After spending month after month running, he was pretty fast. "Try and catch me."

@Sunggyu_Werewolf "They'd complain about the stink of wolves on it or something," Zico responded, bumping Sunggyu again with a grin. "How much moonlight do you feel is left?"

Sunggyu watched Zico walk to the stream, his golden eyes darting about the forest and keen ears listening carefully for any sign of a threat. He wasn't about to let any vampires get the jump on them if he could help it. Coming back to reality when he felt the other wolf nudge his side, he bared his teeth in a goofy looking grin. "If you say so, leader." He agreed with a chortle. "I doubt the vamps will take a wolf's kill. They're too proud for that."

@Sunggyu_Werewolf Zico ducked his nose when Sunggyu him, padding over to a close stream and dipping in his nose to wash the blood away. He pulled back after a few moments, shaking the ice cold water from his fur before stretching and heading back to Sunggyu. He bumped his side with his muzzle and told him to forget the deer, sitting and scratching behind his ear. "We'll get it later or something."

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf Hearing the Alpha's signal to stop, Sunggyu ducked back into the thick foliage and noticed the doe coming into view. He had never been much of a hunter before the change, but he definitely became one afterwards. It was instinct. The younger wolf walked over to the downed deer and huffed in amusement at Zico's puppy-like behavior. "I guess there's still a part of us that's human in that regard. It's always better when cooked." He agreed and bent down to at the underside of Zico's chin, tasting the doe's blood there. "I'll carry her back."

@Sunggyu_Werewolf [ aye ]

Zico snorted at Sunggyu, shrinking back into the shadows as he watched the doe. For him it was more than just hunting for sport: he was hungry. He demonstrated this when suddenly lept up, the female having drifted close enough to his hiding place for him to take her down, making quick work of her death by snapping her neck and rolling onto the forest floor like a puppy. "I don't want to eat her when in wolf form: my stomach /still/ can't digest raw meat even after 40 years of it."

@Zico_AlphaWerewolf The young, blonde wolf padded across the ground, claws digging into the rich earth and stirring up the scents trapped there. Sunggyu's wet nose twitched as he caught the scent of the prey they had been tracking since the full moon had risen and his lips curled back from his teeth in the closest thing he could manage to a smile in this form.

"She can't be far. Let's just hope the damn vamps don't get to her before us." He murmured to his companion and stole a glance up at the moon. /She/ was a doe, a rather delicious looking one at that, though Sunggyu wasn't sure if they were hunting her for food or sport anymore. Maybe it was just something to pass the time away.
