The Mountain of Fortune

"I know." Luhan replied softly. "I will change tonight." He let Jongin held him closer and tightly. "I love you so much, Hyung. You and our kids are everything for me." He smiled and d his own stomach, trying to calm the litter.

"You know I don't love you any less, Lu. It would be better if you changed." Jongin murmured, kissing Luhan's belly respectfully. He held his darling close to him to show him that he was supportive of him.

Luhan winced but then smiled softly at his kids who crouched besides their father with worried ceased in their forehead. "They are, but not as much as these two." Luhan gestured to the kids. Misun whined and Sehoon sighed. "I am kidding." He mouthed I Love You to the kids. "But maybe it is about time for me to be Lulu again until the birth." He looked at Jongin apologetically.

Jongin quickly shifted his chair closer to his lover and looped his long arm around his lover's shoulders. His other hand settled on Luhan's stomach and rubbed warmly and supportively. "Oh my love," Jongin chuckled. "They're giving you quite a bit of trouble tonight, aren't they?"

Luhan chuckled as Sehoon's face turned red when his father siding with his sister as that showed how proud Jongin with his youngest. Linked his arm with Misun's as the girl voicing again her confidence on how fast her brother was, smiling wider before the litters decided to kick again. "Ouch!"

Kangdae excused himself and left while Jongin was left animatedly chatting with his two youngest about the big race Sehoon had won at school that day. Misun was adamant that Sehoon had been miles ahead of all the other competitors, but the young male was sure he had only won by the skin of his teeth. Jongin was siding with his darling daughter on this one. He glanced at Luhan across the table and smiled, happy to have his family together.

Luhan watched with happiness as Jongin chatted with their kids. Ir had been a little while since they were able to sit together and have some simple meal like this. Though it was short as Kangdae needed to attend another council meeting in their communities.

Luhan kissed both of Sehoon's cheeks and pushed him gently to his father. "Go and hug your Dad, Hoonie. He had been a great defender for out multi-races in the council!" He opened his arms to hug Misun but his eyes watching the father-son's interaction. "Hey, Sunnie...you look happy, anything you want to share?" He looked up to his daughter.

@Jongin Sehoon ran to his father and clung to the bigger man's chest, sighing softly. He felt happy that his father was proud of him, and he was comforted by the alpha's arms and familiar smell.

"Come here you little bugger," Jongin chuckled, holding his arms open and waiting for Sehoon to close the distance. "I'm so proud of you."

Misun smiled softly, hiding her face into her father's broad chest. "I am good Dad." She pecked her dad's cheek. "We're all good." She glanced at Sehoon who looked shy and unsure just like whenever he saw his father after being separated for sometimes. "Sehoonie won the race at school yesterday." She smiled proudly while gestured her brother to get closer as she let her dad go to go to greet her Mum. "Mummy!" She launched herself to her tiny mother.

@Luhan Sehoon grinned wider and put his mother down, releasing her entirely. "Of course I did." Sehoon looked over at his father shyly, unsure of whether to ask for a hug.

@Misun "My darling!" Jongin laughed as he cuddled his darling daughter in his arms. "How are you?" He rubbed his daughter's back, holding her close as he had genuinely missed her sweet chatter and caring nature.

Luhan laughed and pat his son. "I miss you too, HoonHoon." He leant and kissed his forehead. "Did you do good while we're gone?" He d his youngest head, peered at his daughter. "And how are you Misunnie?"

@Luhan "Mum," Sehun grinned, "I missed you." The young man lifted his mother off the ground a little as he hugged her, laughing boyishly.

Misun was in the kitchen, preparing food for her brothers in the absence of her mother when suddenly she saw Sehoon leaping across the lake behind their house. "What the h~" then she felt that, their parents presence. She dropped the pan and followed Sehoon. Throwing herself to her father's arms as her mother's still hugging Sehoon. "Dad! Mum!"

"Hey, Sweetheart." Luhan huggled his younger son as tightly. "How are you?" He noticed that Sehoon was looking distress, wandering what had happened when they were gone since he was alright on the day he left him on the cabin with Misun.

Sensing the presence of his father, Sehoon ran from his room and leapt across the river, rushing through the forest to his parents. Once he arrived, he hugged his mother tightly, squeezing her.

Jongin phased dutifully and walked beside Luhan, holding his lover's hand gently and comfortably.

"Wait Hyung, I can walk now." Aware that his lover must be tired after so many hours walking with a pregnant mate on his back, Luhan fluttered off Jongin's back and onto his own feet. Taking the blanket into his arms, the fairy leant and kisses Jongin's muzzle softly. "You can phase back Hyung, we're almost arrive."

Jongin threw his head back and howled happily, springing forward. He moved as smoothly as possible, trying not to jolt the heavily pregnant fairy too much.

They arrived near home later that evening, Jongin treading on tender feet through the forest, panting, tongue lolling out of his mouth comically.

Luhan d Jongin's wolf fur gently, hearts full of adoration and love. If only the other could see them like this, how much Jongin would do for Luhan and their children. He was sure that even a fae might not be as gently as the wolf when they treated their mate. Throw the blanket gently on Jongin's back, Luhan fluttered up and then down to the blanket. Winding his arms around Jongin's neck, he kissed the back of the older's head lovingly. "Take us home, Daddy." He whispered at the wolf's hair.

"Yes, I want to get you home. Give me one second." Jongin left his mate standing still and ran to Luhan's childhood home, collecting a pile of blankets. "But you're exhausted so let me carry you." The alpha beamed and phased to his wolf form, nuzzling Luhan's swollen stomach. He gestured to the blankets, silently asking Luhan to throw them over his back like a saddle so riding wouldn't hurt too much.

"I love you and our children more." Luhan looked up at his mate and tip toed to kiss Jongin's cheek adoringly. "I don't think I want to be part of such short-minded people." He squeezed their hands and frowned. "Hyung...maybe we should just go home? To the village?" He glanced at his lover, hopefully.

Jongin watched as the crowd parted before them and they could finally leave the now-stuffy hall to enter the sunshine outside. "I'm sorry I make things difficult for you, love," Jongin murmured, kissing Luhan's ear softly. "I know you love being involved in the debates here." He continued to guide and support his lover as they wandered through the town.

Luhan felt a familiar firm hold on his shoulders and glanced up to see Jongin smiled at him. The older's affection made his annoyance slowly dissapeared, leaving only sadness that he could not changed some of his people's views on other races. Entangled their hands, Luhan tugged Jongin to follow him, out of the madness of the council and back to their home. "Let's go home, Hyung."

Jongin's eyes were wide in surprise, and he swore he could feel his heart speed up like a boy's. Luhan was such a strong person, and the alpha could clearly see the passion of the wolves in his eyes as he addressed his own people; it made him so proud. Steadying Luhan with a hand firm on the small of his back, Jongin nodded along with what he said, allowing the fairy to control what he did for the time being. "As you wish, my love," Jongin whispered intimately to the red-faced man and then glared scathingly at the council who had dared to incite the anger of the sweet Luhan.
