What is a daemon?
They are the physical manifestations of the souls of humans. Although dæmons are a separate identity to their humans, together, both are considered to be one entity. Therefore, both the human and dæmon will die simultaneously, if one is killed. During the childhood of a human, the dæmon can shapeshift into any kind of animal depending on whim or circumstances; after the child has attained maturity, their dæmon will settle into a permanent form, often reflecting the nature of their human. A person's dæmon is usually the opposite , although it is possible for both to have the same . It is a taboo for a person to touch another's dæmon; similarly, a dæmon cannot touch another person. An exception of this is touching out of love.The separation between a human and their dæmon is very painful and emotionally afflicting. Excluding the dæmons belonging to witches, who could travel great distances away from each other, death would usually follow the separation due to the severe trauma. A device known as the Silver Guillotine was able to separate dæmon from their humans without resulting in death. Nevertheless, this resulted in the human losing some of their willpower and vitality. They can change into other forms when they want to show something (i.e: if scared they will turn into a mouse) but they will always have the basic.

Artifacts
When a student is deemed worthy enough (They have 200 activity pts.), they will be given an artifact before they go on a mission. They have been separated into two different categories. The first one is the metal category and the second is the minor category.
Metal Category - Only three lucky students can get these.
Alethiometer or Golden Compass - is a small, gold-coloured, compass-like device that had a single, simple, use: to tell the truth. Its name is Aletheia "truth" + -ometer"measuring device"
Æsahættr or Subtle Knife - is a knife with a blade so fine it can rip through the fabric between the worlds of the multiverse.
Amber Spyglass - is a spyglass or telescope that allows the human eye to see Dust.
Minor Category - these are common so a lot of people get it. Sometimes even altogether.
Magic Ring - it is used to show disguises with a wave of a hand.
Cornucopia - it gives you food, drinks, and other things you need for survival.
Cap of Invisibility - self-explanatory.
Phoenix Feather - it cures wounds and any other injuries.
Messenger Bracelet - it allows communications between two people.
Red Box - it allows you to store an infinite amount of objects.
Classes
You will need four major subjects, three minor subjects, and two sub-subjects. Major subjects (in one classroom) and sub-subjects (outside) are held two times a week, and minor subjects are taught individually. (More of like a home school)

How it works
- First, you will have to learn the subjects.
- Second, make friends and allies.
- Third, be social and talk to EVERYONE.
- Fourth, once you get 200 or over activity points, the headmaster will give you a mission. It's up to you on what degree of difficulty and if you accept it or not.
- Fifth, one of the three people will assist you in the mission.
- Sixth, once the mission is done, go back to the academy and report.
