✴Training Grounds

Chan hated it when a bird stole the spotlight. Especially when the bird was the one you called a friend. He nocked yet another rubber-tipped training arrow in his compound bow and sent it flying before his pet got the chance to fly away again. Alas, he missed and the raven squawked three times before resting on a branch.

"Yeah, yeah, I missed. So what? The sun was in my eyes." Chan shaded his eyes with a gloved hand. "What do you want me to do? Call dad and say /do your job right!/?" The bird squawked again and flew when an arrow zipped past above it.

"Dang it. That was the closest one." He wiped accumulating sweat off his eyebrows and squinted. "Sunlight, get back here! No fair!"

Now, don't judge Chan. It was Saturday. Saturday's, like, Target Practice with His Pet day. And to be honest, Sunlight was bringing shame to Chan's bloodline. Talk about bird empowerment. The raven was a dodging star and could fly away in a heartbeat. Chan didn't know whether to be proud because his pet's a kick- bird or ashamed because he's getting kicked to the curb by his kick- pet. That's a hard decision to make.

"At least /pretend/ you're having a hard time flying." Chan ran after his soaring bird, hefting a new quiver full of arrows. "I would've hit you three times if I didn't infuse your pellets in my tea. You should thank me by playing dead."

Just then, Sunlight dropped a bomb of digested pellets. As if saying, 'that's a load of bird dropping.'

Great, Chan's an owner of a kick- bird with an attitude.

@Jinyoung Taemin sighed has he reached for his bow that was hand crafted and had his name engraved on it. He hung the bow on his arm before reaching down and grabbing his practice arrows. He had a long, tiring day and just wanted to relax while shooting a arrow. Somehow practicing always seemed to relax his nerves it was always just so peaceful. Taemin exited the room so he could walk outside to where the targets were held. He didn't think there would be anyone else around but he was wrong has he heard what sounded like arrows hitting against the target.

Taemin stopped once he noticed another male and stood behind a corner. He watched as the stranger kept shooting his bows and missing his target, he saw how it frustrated the other male. Taemin didn't know why but he reached for his bow and held it in his hand before arming it with an arrow. As he stepped out from the corner he aim for his target and took a split second before gently releasing the arrow. The arrow flow thought the air with lightening speed and went past the strange male before hit the target with a bull eyes. He didn't know why he did that but something in him just made him.

@Taemin Jinyoung huffed softly to himself as he looked at the target in front of him. He seemed to be having an off day again and he seemed to be missing each shot he took, which really angered him. He really really wanted to get at least one shot of not more in to the middle of the target, not around the middle of the target like he had been doing.

The male swipped his hair out of his eyes again as he pulled out another arrow and aimed it for the target after fitting it in his bow. He then pulled the bow string back as he glared at the place he wanted to hit and let it go. The arrow went whirling past the target and instead hit the tree behind the target dead on. "You have to be kidding me!" The black haired shinned before reaching to get another arrow only to find that was his last one. He groaned before going to get his arrows.
