ilhwa is an alternate universe rp set in south korea's joseon dynasty, year 1868. children of esteemed houses and everyone of all classes are invited to the return of the social season hosted by queen min after three years of mourning for the late king. the first event of the social season is currently happening - the debut ball. 

who among the beautiful daughters and handsome sons would you ask to dance?

would it be kim eunha, a noble daughter that is making her social debut after coming of age and being caged in her estate walls because of her childhood illness? she is looking for more friends that would be able to guide her through her new responsbilities and possibly a lover that can be her supporting moon.

or would it be song jihoo, a noble son that has recently awoken from his coma after getting poisoned during a failed assassination attempt on his father but does not recall any of his memories? he is looking for his friends that he has forgotten and hoping to rekindle those relationships that had been momentarily lost. 

be warned, however, ilhwa's courier has a tendency to lose letters in transit and thus the recipient of your love letter might never receive your words of affection.
