history / about

meek, fragile, heavily wounded with the toils of labor, her hands are tremoring upon looking closely, julie was never the type to bow down to others and take, take and never fight back. her feisty spirit and the akin likes to her element of fire sure goes hand in hand. julie han is all but a mere servant and she doesn't like the class written on her forehead as the royals love reminding her of.  she never understood why her mother took her out of private school, only to bring her to pyrolith, the kingdom of fire. sure, julie has a fire affinity, fire mimicry, but she always managed to keep her powers in check and on the downlow. something about her mother dragging her out into this area makes her wonder what's going on - why does she want julie to be amongst such rich folks? being trampled on and looked down at. her mother always wished for the girl to have a sense of freedom, protected, free reign, a good, healthy life.

 

this wasn't the life she imagined, being stuck here at age 16 and now at the age of 24, julie is still being a servant for the frollicking mucks and whimsical characters around pyrolith palace. she doesn't complain, doesn't budge or even show displeasure on her pretty, smoot-laced features when the royal blood teases her, taunts her, bullies her, have her running to and fro in demands for whatever they deem fit in that moment. it's by far the most annoying thing she has to hanle, but something about being amongst the pyrolith royal clan has julie fighting through. it was 'him' [connection], she has an insane bout of attraction for one of the princes, whatever persona delivered - she loved it all the same. maybe it was a bit of an obsession if she's being truthful.

 

julie doesn't understand why her mother brought her here, after all, her mother wanted her to have absolutely nothing to do with this place, the royal blood, the palace. even when julie was a curious kid asking about her lifestyle and work, wanting to join her, forgetting about studies in hopes of following in her mother's footsteps, wanting to do good by her and help her. her mother was constantly adamant against it. however, something shifted and she doesn't know. what julie doesn't know is that her mother is trying to get julie to marry someone of noble status and eventually get her name out to the public, the scandal of being a bastard child out in the open. her mother being paid off to shut about having a child for the king is getting on her last nerve and seeing how his other kids are living all well and mighty?! and her julie has to suffer - she hates it. but the thing is, she isn't thinking about her daughter's feelings, does julie want to be a nobleman's wife? does she wish to be a king's daughter? what happens when in this plot twist of events that's julie life, it turns out that julie is indeed not the king's daughter?

her mother slept with the king and julie's father the same week. the memory of julie's father and her mother sleeping with each other gone out of her mind in favor of remembering her old flame with the king. someone she wanted but couldn't have left an impression. later down the line in julie's life, all the heartache, confusion, anger and frustration would be all for nothing - julie would be a simple commoner's daughter, nothing more, nothing less. her father is a well known knight and a very gifted knight at that, a knight that the king hated every single breath of his life. julie's mother wanted the best of both worlds, causing julie's life to be a confusing semblance of who she really is, who's daughter she truly is... would julie ever find closure? would she be content being who she truly is? mistaken royalty, settled into being nothing but a mere lowlife, a commoner, no one important, just a heavily gifted girl.

personality ;
deep inside, the julie that royal blood never sees; she's feisty, ignorant, easily tempered and snarky. a bit of a if pushed too hard. the julie that's a mere, little servant, only there to please royalty in any way possible - yes, sometimes she has to use her body, they're that despicable... that julie is reserved, meek, a coward, a bit skittish and she takes what they have to give to her, whether it's verbal abuse or snapping at her for the stupidest of things. or if they see her and think she'd look pretty under them, then why not? she has an innocence to her that's showcased in the bedroom, but she has that bit of seduction that turn heads. it's maybe why a couple of them keep coming back for more, others talking and getting out. julie doesn't pride herself in doing what she does, but if sleeping with stupid rich men, can give her gold and things to buy her freedom from this , then why not? she wishes to stay for her mother, but maybe she could be resilient enough to get them both out, no?

likes ;
her mother. experimenting with new things, julie is an avid learner, she likes trying new things, exploring new options and deciding what she likes to what she doesn't. she likes meeting new people, depending on how they treat her. animals are her weakness and if she was to be doing errands for someone, and saw a stray kitten or pup, she would stop everything she's doing to give the animal baby some affection. dancing, it's something that apparently entertains the royals whom she beds, something extra that gives her an added little tip. despite this being her job day in day out, julie finds a sense of calm while doing laundry, no matter how tiring it is, she enjoys it, she thinks of it as her therapeutic chore.

snobby people, rude and disrespectful persons, anyone who looks down on others or Bully others, basically? the royal snobs. onions and juice.

fire mimicry - the power to transform into or have a physical body made up of fire. julie is made up of or can transform her body completely into fire. julie's transformed form is anatomically identical to her normal form, aside of being made of fire, in which case, it contains all organs and is somewhat vulnerable to attacks. Alternately, the user can transform into homogeneous matter, without any part of their form being more important than the other. there are two forms: 

Nigh Formed Fire Beings are or can change into mostly physical beings, with the energy flowing through their being, fortifying their cells, bones and muscles. Their power is mostly focused on their bodies and while they gain some amount of energy-attacks, the changes and applications are mostly internal.

Full-Formed Fire Beings are completely formed of energy, without anything truly left from their physical form. They gain impressive control over their form and vast capacity to expel fire in various ways.;

julie is a full-formed fire being. not sure how she's this powerful but then again, her background that her mother so meticulously kept from her - being a child of the king of pyrolith all now makes so much more sense.

secrets ;
SHE'S lonely, sometimes very insecure but she fakes it till she makes it. She wonders if she'd ever find love. Does she deserve it? of course, her roots are a secret even to her and her not so secret crush on one of the princes.

fears ;
the dark, drowning due to almost drowning when she was a kid. Being left all alone and abandoned, her mom leAving her behind with old age.

it was him, it always  been him. since day one of julie entrance to the palace, she thought life would be hell. of course, it is, but something about you capture her attention, whether you're mean and cold, aloof and heartless - or just plain kind and warm depending on your mood. it was endearing to her to say the least.. she always looks on at you from afar, admiring you and liking how you talk to others, how you carry about yourself. [if he's a then okay hello maso jjulie]. what happens in the end when she already knows you don't care for her, or even give her a split second of your time unless maybe you're bored or annoyed and want someone to lash out on. but in the end, you both realized you're half siblings?

Well, hello there, thank you for being her ride or die throughout her time at the palace, you and her became really close. you were each other's comfort during all the harsh, cruel treatment. always helping one another when the time is needed. you're that one person besides her mother she trusts with her life.  you both share each other's worries and julie tells you everything, you know of her scandalous activities with the royals too and you support her knowing fully well that it's best to use rich folks for their money rather than have them use the servants.
