@Shim Changmin "we terra's usually have the best control over our emotions, so usually i don't need to." Jackson explained.

"I don't need any water." Jackson said softly. "besides, that smells more like vodka to me." Jackson frowned when Changmin said he was having a fever. "your hand feels warmer that my head though." the pain slowly subsided and Jackson's breathing returned to normal.

@Jackson Wang Changmin kept looking at the fire, which was finally getting weaker, he felt tired just by looking at it. But now he wasn't alone in the room anymore, that was maybe the only way for him to get to control his power. He nodded, somehow the boy's voice sounded relaxing, more than what he was actually saying, but still he closed his eyes to not look at the fire anymore, and soon started to imagine the scenery the other was depicting him. "Do you do that too ? To control yourself ?" he asked almost completely relaxed, but he flinched again hearing the boy's voice getting weaker. Opening his eyes right away, he turned to the boy who was now sitting in a chair. He approached him quickly, slightly panicking again, "a-are you alright ? w-water ! I'll bring you water ?" Changmin stood up looking around desperately as if water would suddenly appear in front him. Not that far was standing a closet and he run to it, opening it, he found something that looked like water but he hadn't really the time to taste what it was, keeping it in his hand, he went back to the panting boy, leaning toward him he rested his hand on the boy's forehead, "you're burning..." he mumbled not noticing it was his own heat he was feeling.

@Shim Changmin "I'm a terra, but it's like that with all powers." Jackson noticed the fire wasn't decreasing and decided to help him calm down even more. "Imagine you're on a beach. A nice, tropical beach. Imagine the small waves rolling back and forth. The soft breeze rustling the palmtrees. Just try to imagine tha-that" Jackson flinched when a sharp pain stabbed his leg, and hoped the ignis next to the fireplace. He limped to a chair and sat down, his breathing slihhtly

@Jackson Wang Changmin blinked at the other's reaction, but didn't thought nearer about it, thinking that as usual he was being a bit too warm to the people he didn't know anything about yet. The young ignis simply thought the other was just being cold because it was actually their first meeting.

He flinched a bit and so the fire in his back made a dangerous wave as Changmin was wondering if he could do what he was being asked to, yet he nodded his head to show he had understood. "I will try to.." he mumbled looking down at his hands before looking back up to the boy in front him, "are you an ignis too ? How do you know it's all linked ?" Changmin said standing next the one who was in front him so now he could peek at the fire, trying to get it smaller by breathing more slowly, but it didn't really changed anything.

@Shim Changmin Jackson ignored the hand offered to him. He had promised to leave no one behind when he died, have no one crying at his deathbed, and he wasn't going to change his plans that easily.

"since you seem unable to control the fire and it's threatening to burn down the whole room, i'll help you. You're probably panicing internaly because of the fire, and that influences the fire. To control it, you need to control your emotions. Your powers and emotions are linked. All you have to do to calm the fire is calm yourself, understood?"
Shim Changmin 9 years ago
@Jackson Wang Changmin smiled at the boy entering the room, he was about to take a step nearer toward the newcomer but stopped when he saw the face he did seeing the size of the fire behind him. He tried to hide it but even if he was too tall for the fireplace, he wasn't fat enough to be able to do such a thing. "Hmm.. I am .. I mean, IGNIS!" he mumbled first but finished by bursting out, thinking he needed to show others he wasn't some weak new students, after all the things he had heard about this place, he couldn't know the kind of person he was facing at the moment. Finally, he decided to ignore the fire behind him, which was becoming a bit too hot, he took that step nearer toward the other, "my name is Changmin, I'm new and an ignis. Let's get along each other~" he offered a warm smile to the one in front him, trying to get him talk to him, already wanting to know more about this new friend. Because yes, for Changmin, when he met eyes with someone, they would become friends like that.

@Shim Changmin Jackson entered the commonroom, intending to peacefully read a book on his own. He was shocked when he saw the huge fire in the fireplace, and the frightened student in front of it. "You don't just happen to be an ignis or aqua student do you?" He asked. Knowing his luck, it wouldn't be. He was never lucky. He would be dead in three years and feel extremely painful phantompains in the meanwhile. What part of that would be considered lucky?
Shim Changmin 9 years ago
@Jackson Wang Changmin was sitting by himself in the common room, since he had came in he had met no one and that wasn't that good for someone as friendly as him. He needed to see people around, to listen to them even if they weren't talking to him. Because being left with himself as only company was probably the worst because the bad thoughts would start growing in his head. He wasn't that smart, nor could he think about two things at the same time. If he ever started to depress, he would end burning the whole building, starting with that fire growing bigger in the fireplace. "No please, pretty, don't.." he begged the flames eating the wood, kneeling in front it, he hold his two hands in front the fire as to calm it down, but it only got even worst. Why was the fire never listening to him ? Would it ever one day ? At this actual point in the time, Changmin was at a turning point in his life, wondering if he'll ever managed to control it. But he wasn't kind to let himself being devoured by those kind of thoughts, such as thinking it would be better for the world to not have him around anymore, that if he was no more he wouldn't be hurting anyone anymore. "Look what you're doing to me!" He mumbled to the orange and yellow flames, scolding it, for Changmin the fire was something alive that could understand. Yeah /could/ only because for the moment any dialogue was dead between the two. Hearing someone coming Changmin stood up turning toward where he thought the sound was coming from, waiting in expectation, already wanting to thank whoever was coming to save him from his mental prison.

@Park Jiyeon Hyesung shrugged his shoulders as he tilted his head to the right, his eyes fixing on Jiyeon again when he heard her speak. He could see she was thinking about something. That something he didn't know, but whatever it was, she didn't seem to like it. Playing with the fringe at the end of his pants quietly, he listened to her breathing and the crackle of the fire. Then he heard her speak again and looked up. Ah, she had heard him when he mentioned mental facility. Maybe because she was a Ventus student, he didn't know.

"I don't necessarily blend in, I just try to keep calm." he replied as he started speaking again. "Who exactly?" he asked out loud, tilted his head up at the ceiling as he let his body relax in the chair. "A Crown Blue patient, room 450 on Floor 4, escaped by jumping from the 4th story window and survived. I was found by people from here, and they took me away but locked me up worse then the people at the institution." His tone turned bitter as he thought about it, nausea churning in his stomach. "They kept me in a cage. Called me a monster. Waited until I was deemed 'fit' to be allowed into this society hellhole called a school. Do you know why?" he asked, looking back at Jiyeon suddenly, his eyes no longer soft looking but cold as he clenched his fist on the cuff of his jeans. "They called me a monster because I killed people. Not just because I killed people. Because those people were my family!" His voice started shaking as he thought about it. He actually thought about it. Normally Hyesung would just bury those thoughts as far away in the back of his mind as he could but now he just saw them all. "I didn't want to. I never wanted them to die. But this happened!" he grabbed at his head and pulled on his hair as the tears brimmed in his eyes.

Hyesung closed his eyes tightly and buried his head in his knees when he saw something in front of him. It was Jin Kyo and his father (a hallucination), looking down at him from where he was sitting. He kept muttering 'I'm sorry. I'm sorry.' over and over again as he pulled his knees into him tightly and wrapped his arms around them. He didn't want to be like this. Didn't want to go from calm to angry to depressed to whatever state of mind he could enter so quickly. It just wasn't right. Then again, he wasn't right either.

@Krystal Jung While Hyesung was drowning in his sea of thoughts while watching the girl across from him, it was suddenly brought to his attention that another presence was in the room when he heard a voice. He looked up to see a girl with pink hair, which wasn't very much to his surprise. He'd seen people with green hair and shaved heads being brought into the institution before. As she sat down and stared at her glass, he stared at her, not really curious but just studying her since he had nothing better to do.

@Park Jiyeon "Wrong perception." Hyesung muttered, mulling it over in his head as he tilted it far to the side. "Perception, perception, perception. It's all about how we see things isn't it?" he suddenly asked, sitting up as he tapped the side of his head before returning to his original position. "As most people say, 'I have to see it to believe it'." Why could people just follow the rule of 'seeing is believing' instead? It would make everything so much more easier, except for the fact that people would still be lying and more would end up in bad situations. At least people would be truthful though.

"Oh, I know very well how teenagers act. I've been one myself. Although I don't think many teenagers spent their days holed up in a mental facility..." his last sentence was barely audible as he talked to himself, resting his head on his knees and rolling his eyes around, before they started flicking to various objects inside the room. It kept him occupied. Out of control. Ah, yes, that one phrase. Hyesung hated that phrase. It was the embodiment of himself in a sense, on a much less complicated level though. He wasn't able to control himself when he got angry. He wasn't able to control himself when he was depressed. He couldn't control the voices in his head. It was all very out of control.

"I've been here for a while actually. Not many people, knew about me..." he said, remembering his first few weeks here. Caged up in the basement of the horrendous building called a school where he was labeled a monster. "But yes, you could consider me new, in a sense, although I don't think kid would fit. I didn't ask for it though." he said and looked back up at her. No, he certainly didn't want it. He was just minding his own business. "But I'm not looking for a fight. Maybe if they saw me for who I really was they'd leave me alone?" he mumbled the last sentence again, referring to, well, another part of himself. Not his real self. He was his real self, in parts. Calm and collected Shin Hyesung. Crazy murderer Jung Pilkyo. Insane Monster. He was all that and more. It was just that none of the students here knew, except for those who had heard of the rumors. Leaking out of the head's office. Tales of a beast below the school who munched on bones and drank blood like water. Like it was his lifeline. Of course it wasn't true, it was just one of the many 'myths' of the school.

Krystal enters the common room with a content look on her face as she slowly trudges to one of the seats. She sits down and stares at the fire,as the exhales a sigh of frustration.
She came here to calm only to see two other people there. There was a boy and a girl holding a conversation . Being the polite girl she was she slowly stood up to bow to both of the others. "Hello." she greeted both of what she guess were her seniors. As she slowly sat down again . She stares at her glass.

@Park Jiyeon "Jiyeon." Hyesung spoke quietly, testing the name on his tongue. He wasn't fond of names, hence the reason he didn't even use his real name anymore. Except when they forced him into the enrollment process. In the school he felt out of place, being older than most of the students here. They told him this place was supposed to help him control his powers, and they just hadn't reached him before because those at the mental institution wouldn't let them take him away.

"Hyesung. My name is Shin Hyesung." he replied, giving her the barest of a smile that tugged on the corner of his lips. Smiles were always troublesome things. Smile to get what you want. Smile to be friendly. He felt that smiling was just a waste of energy so he didn't do it very often, and when it happened it was usually the kind of smile that scared people off.

He took in her features, brown hair and calculating eyes. She looked like the type of person who could be your friend, or your worst enemy. Hyesung always liked studying those types of people from far away, or just even reading stories about them.

"Keep quiet?" he asked, tilting his head slightly as she shot him a smile he could tell wasn't very real. "I have no reason to go and tell anyone. Besides, they would probably think I was making it up." It was true. Most things he told anyone here were real, yet they told him he was just making it up. Getting attacked in the common room, that just happened, but if he told anyone else they wouldn't believe him. It all came with the presence of his hallucinations. 'You were just hallucinating.' they would tell him. 'Nothing's really there.' He would deny it though. Of course something was there! He could see it! Why didn't anyone else?

"Rumors, or whatever you call them, they aren't my thing. So you don't have to worry yourself."
Shin Hyesung 9 years ago
@Park Jiyeon Hyesung returned to his original position with his knees pulled up to his chest, but this time he was facing the girl who had started pushing the furniture back. She seemed nice enough, although he knew she could get mean when she wanted. At least it seemed so when she was dealing with the other Ventus students.

"Fine." he spoke quietly in response to her question, the fire in his eyes dying down completely as he had no reason to be angry right now. 'You should have turned them to ashes.' a voice in his head said. Hyesung ignored it though, to the best of his ability as he watched the girl still, in curiosity. Why would she try to help him anyways? He wondered why as he watched her. Hyesung wasn't used to receiving help from people since most of the time they either ignored him, tried to make him mad, or just feared him if they knew where he'd come from and what he'd done.

"They can come back." he said, resting his head on his knees as his toes curled over the edge of the chair. "I don't really care. It didn't look like that good of a jacket either." Hyesung didn't know if it was a good or bad jacket considering he was holed away from civilization before, he wouldn't have the time to catch up on trends. It's not like he wanted to anyways, they just bored him.

"Who are you?" he then asked, watching the girl still with his unblinking eyes.
Shin Hyesung 9 years ago
@Park Jiyeon When Hyesung heard another person enter the room he didn't really pay it much mind as the rest of them turned their heads towards the woman. Ah, she must be the Head of the Ventus Sector. Not that he really minded. For the most part he didn't want anyone else in the room, but it was a common room, so it wasn't like he could have avoided meeting other people. Besides, maybe it was a good thing she was in the room. He wouldn't have to deal with blackened corpses if his power got out of control.

When the student holding his collar looked back at him he backed up slightly, noticing the fire burning behind Hyesung's eyes now. No, you should not mess with him. Not when he's quiet.

"Do you know what it feels like to have Hell rain down upon you?" he asked, the fire in the fireplace moving a bit erratically as the student let go of his collar. "Would you like to know?" That was enough for the other two of his goons to run out of the Common Room, leaving Hyesung with the Sector Head and their leader. The leader growled as he walked back up to Hyesung and grabbed him by the collar like the one before.

"You think your being funny punk?" he asked, his grip tightening and almost choking Hyesung, but he didn't seem to feel it. Or at least, he ignored it.

"No. In fact, I'm being quite serious." he replied and grabbed the other's arm, smoke lifting up in the air as he started burning through the other's jacket. "I'll give you a taste of Hell." he said, a smile on his face that didn't seem all that real. When their eyes widened, Hyesung was pleased and finally released them, showing he hadn't even made it through the jacket but left a burned hand print on it as they ran out the door. He knew he had probably blabbered nonsense just then and sighed to himself, scratching his head as the fire in the fireplace went back to normal and he calmed down some.
Shin Hyesung 9 years ago
@Park Jiyeon Considering the fact that it was a common room you'd expect it to be a calm and relaxing place, which was the reason Hyesung was there when no one else was in the room. He was sitting in one of the chairs sideways, his knees brought up to his chest as he stared into the fire quietly when a few Ventus entered the room. They looked at him and then to each other before grinning evilly and walking up to him, not caring that he was at least 5 years older them probably.

"Yah. Pretty boy." one of them said, poking him in the shoulder. Hyesung turned his head and looked up at them from where he was sitting, still silent as ever. "What are you doing in that chair? That's my chair." he spoke again. Of course it was a lie, the chair wasn't really his, just that one little spot he claimed was his. Hyesung looked around on the chair without moving his body for any indication of his name but didn't find any and returned to looking at the fire.

"Yah! We were talking punk." another one of them said as the first one suddenly grabbed Hyesung by the collar of his shirt and lifted him up slightly (which was quite an easy task considering Hyesung never ate). "Are you going to keep ignoring us?" he asked, Hyesung trembling slightly, be it from fear or contained anger, but the Ventus student took it as fear and laughed to himself. "Are you scared?"
