@Choi Jinri She blushed even harder, if that was possible. Was this really the Ignis with the noteworthy temper? Yixing did see snatches of moments where it seemed like she could truly live up to the small rumors that circulated around her. But overall, it didn't seem like she had the typical fiery Ignis temper. No, it just seemed like she was more irritable than the usual human being.

But being irritated, as an Aqua, really made little sense to him. There was no point in being annoyed or angry at someone. Why burn up all your energy just so you can be angry at the moment? Why not spend the same amount of time and energy thinking of how to get around the problem? But that was really the difference between water and fire- fire burns everything in its way, as much as it can before exhausting itself. Water moved around problem situations fluidly, never-ending paths.

He watched as the boy moved away, and didn't release his arm until the first year was a safe distance away. He turned to look at her, noticing her stiff posture and her stammered thanks. "No problem. Come to me if he keeps bothering you. Ignis doesn't have a head as of yet, anyway." He patted her briefly on the arm before gesturing to the gardens. "I was about to take a walk. Care to join me?"

He stood with his head tilted to the right slightly in an inquiring manner, and straightened his gleaming sector head badge.

She wouldn't refuse, right? That would be ridiculous- not to mention he was usually the one doing the rebuffing, not the girls he interacted with.

@Zhang Yixing Choi Jinri, also known as Sulli to some, was reputed to be a menace with a horrible temper added to the package. She was notorious for being a ticking human bomb. There was a lot she was known for, and blushing like an idiot was most definitely not one of them. It was almost terrifying how just the presence of the Aqua sector head could reduce her into a subdued, blushing mess. And it was almost like he was asking for her to develop a crush on him.

The way he was acting towards the other male was rather intimidating but she found it attractive, his actions making her infatuation with him stronger. It was embarrassing, and she sincerely hoped that no one else was witnessing the situation right now, or her reputation would be shredded into tiny little pieces and burned.

But nothing shocked her more than the combination of his smile, wink, and words. Someone could kill her now and she'd be more than happy to die. She nearly slapped herself when that thought crossed her mind, and she frowned at first year before her, rather content to let her emotional conflict settle into annoyance towards the guy.

His eyes flickered from Jinri to Yixing, an almost murderous look on his face but he didn't dare speak up against the latter, aware that it was better to just leave without an argument. Jinri let out a small sigh of relief as she watched the first year stalk away. Then remembering where she was, she stiffened and without looking at her "savior", she stammered, "T-thank you."

@Choi Jinri There was a lot one could say about Yixing. Meticulous, fastidious, manipulative. Whatever you wanted to say, good or bad, could probably apply to him. One thing he was most certainly not was unobservant- to have that notion would just be ridiculous. Yixing liked his details- liked looking for the little telltales that let him interact with people so easily. And so, he was always on the lookout for anything that might tell him more about a person. To miss Jinri's ever increasing blush would be sloppy and plain dumb.

For her sake, he paid it little attention. He made his smile a little more menacing, a little sharper, leaned forward to indicate slight aggression, anything that would intimidate the first year.

Easy. The male, obviously thrown off by the ease in which he switched from nonchalant to challenging, backed one step away before deciding to keep pressing. He smiled when Jinri scoffed at him, and he relaxed his stance slightly, but only pulled her closer, making his grip a little more tight.

"Nice friendship you have going there," he mocked lightly. "Anyway, Jinri and I-" he smiled down at her indulgently and winked for good measure- "have a /different/ kind of friendship, if you catch my gist."

He summoned up a thin, floating stream of water that extended forward and pushed the boy back without him having to move a muscle. He gave one last condescending smile.

"Go on now," he added coldly.

@Zhang Yixing A wicked smile grew on the guy's face, and Jinri scowled darkly, her already limited patience with him already reaching its lowest point. But before anything else could happen, someone walked towards the two, and upon recognizing him, a light blush dusted Jinri's cheeks. She hesitantly returned his smile, her brain suddenly lacking the capacity to think of anything other than his dimple-that stupid, charming, attractive dimple. Before she could regain her wits, his arm was around her, and her blush darkened at the contact. Stupid blush. Stupid little schoolgirl crush. Stupid Zhang Yixing and his goddamn dimple.

She could only gape, all too aware of how unattractive that looked but unable to help herself nonetheless, as the Aqua sector head confronted the first year. Everything happened too fast for her to comprehend, but she managed to pick up the "my friend" and she tried not to hyperventilate.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breath- he had called her his /friend/. She didn't think he even knew she existed. 'Breathe, Jinri, breathe.'

As she tried to regain control of herself, she heard the boy retort, "She's my friend too. This is our business so you can out."

At this, the fire in her rose again and she scoffed. "Who the hell said I'm your friend?"

She toned down her aggressiveness, if only because Yixing was there, right next to her, and she'd be damned if she did anything to lower his impression of her. God, she had it bad. This behavior was so unlike her and she was more than ready to just run away, go back to her dorm, and call it a day.

@Choi Jinri The weather was nice, he observed, looking up from his meticulous note-taking. Perhaps he could take a break from his notes on human psychology and the automatic intimidation factor of a omnipresent and omniscient beings. He stretched out his arms, wincing when he felt them crack. He cleared his throat and made his way to the other side of his large dormitory. He fixed his impeccable appearance and straightened his blazer.

Pinning his badge to his chest, he sauntered out of his room, waving to a couple students he saw in the common room, smiling easily at them. He made some mindless conversation with them- it was always good to maintain good relationships with everyone. Eventually he would reap what he sowed, but for now, he was content to fan the flames of their ardor. It irked him just the slightest bit that Yoona did it just as easily as he did, even with her incompetence as a leader.

So, yes, she was a sweet girl who immediately caused many to like her, he grudgingly admitted to himself. But any good will he harbored for her was wiped out by her utter ineffectual approach to keeping her damn student council in line. He made it to this position by hard work and some careful words in the right places, not because he was related to some board member, and it irked him that those higher than him were no more talented but elevated because they were in good positions.

Pushing the thought of his head, he made his way to the courtyards, ready to just take a relaxing walk through the gardens. Then he saw- who was it? Was her name Jiyeon? No, that was the Ventus headgirl- Jinri, that was her name, being harassed by some first year he didn't remember the name of.

Walking over, he flashed her a reassuring smile, single dimple winking out for a brief second. He wrapped his arm around her, still smiling, but this time down on the annoying first year. "Hey kid! Aqua, right? Listen, I'm the headboy there. Why don't you leave me and my friend alone, okay?"

@Zhang Yixing "Hey, pretty lady," an all too familiar voice called out, breaking the silence in the gardens, the silence Jinri was appreciating.

From her peripheral vision, she could see a male student leaning against a tree trunk, his hands slipped into his front pants pockets and posing in a way many females found captivating. But the charm was lost on Jinri, whom he'd tried flirting with too many times. He was either thick-headed or he took pleasure in ignoring her not-so-subtle hints that she didn't want him anywhere near her. This was the second time today he had approached her and her patience was wearing thin.

But she couldn't snap now, not when she knew what would happen when she let her rage get the better of her, and courtyards didn't fare well with fire. So, she gritted her teeth and continued walking, determined to ignore him. It was like a challenge to her. How well could she control her temper before she exploded? Admittedly, she generally lasted at most a few minutes before letting herself be consumed by her anger. But she was determined this time to make it through the gardens without frying anything, even if a certain Aqua male was making the task more difficult than it should be.

"Aw, c'mon, Jinri, don't ignore me," the guy whined, pushing away from the tree trunk and stepping in front of her to stop her. She tried to sidestep him but no matter which way she went, he would stand in front of her. If she didn't know better, she'd think he had a death wish.

Taking a deep breath, she asked as civilly as possible, "What the hell do you want?" It came out sharper than she intended, but judging by how his face darkened with something more than malice and his hand came up to her cheek, she wished the question came out more vicious.
