@[S] Kim JiSoo She blinked, trying to put the situation together within her mind. Baekhyun had clearly been under the influence of a love potion, and yet... why would a Slytherin boy want to help him, especially if they'd just met recently? An amused snort left her as a theory formed, although she didn't want to confirm it until she was absolutely sure. She gave Baekhyun's back a gentle push to help him along. "Good luck. I trust you'll be careful with him. And... well. He's single, if you want to know," she added in a whisper, chuckling and raising a hand in farewell as she climbed the steps to go back to the girls' dormitories. Baekhyun's male friend wrinkled his nose at her as she left, before rolling his eyes and helping Jisoo to carry him along. Evidently, she was always like this. Baekhyun didn't seem to notice any of this, as his energies were mainly focused on trying to avoid eye contact with Jisoo. It wasn't long before the room faded to black completely, and he was dead weight in the two boys' arms as they helped him up to the hospital wing.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun /So he remembered/? Lightning inside Jisoo's mind and needless to say he was frightened. He didn't want Baekhyun to feel awkward around him again but it seems like it was now the inevitable.
"We've met recently and oh-of course-- he hurt his head." was his stammering half-reply to Baekhyun's friend, which left the mystery mostly unanswered.
For sure, Baekhyun was cured of the enchantment but they still had to treat the injury. He dipped towards the bed and hooked the boy's arm around his shoulder to lift him up off the bed. His other male friend helped as well.
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun groaned softly, covering his face with his hands. It felt like the past hour or so was just a bad dream, but he was smart. He knew better. He'd always been so careful, so how could he let this happen? The real question of course was, why did Jisoo's tone sound so kind? He spread his fingers slightly, peeking through the cracks at the older student. He'd been hitting on the poor guy like there was no tomorrow, and now Jisoo was worrying about him. He nodded quickly, letting his hands slide back down into his lap. "'m fine," he mumbled, giving him a little smile. "I'm really... sorry. About all of that. I swear, I'll never let it happen again..." He pushed himself up, but for a moment everything went dark and he swayed dangerously from side to side. His Ravenclaw friend was quick to sit him back down, and her expression filled with concern as she locked eyes with Jisoo. "He's not so good around Slytherins, but he doesn't seem to have a problem with you. What happened to him? This seems really bad, we should probably get him to the hospital wing."
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo firmly stood in place during Baekhyun's treatment, eventually diverting his gaze to the girl. To her, he replied, "It was good to be prepared. He's lucky to have friends like you." He smiled with awkwardly as he now didn't know where to look. It would be really embarrassing if Baekhyun woke up from the trance and found Jisoo staring at him. So, he rubbed his nape as he stared at the floor. The rustling sounds and the friends' comforting murmurs were enough to indicate that Baekhyun already absorbed the antidote. Jisoo carefully lifted his sight towards the boy, mustering the smallest of smiles since he did not know what to say at first. But he managed, anyway. "I hope you're okay. You got hit in the head, you know."
@[S] Kim JiSoo The boy stepped forward, uncapping the top of the bottle. Baekhyun peered over the girl's shoulder, keeping his eyes fixed on Jisoo. The male had been so close a second ago... he sadly reached out his hand. Why would Jisoo walk away now? He'd gotten used to the close proximity. His mind went blank when someone tilted his head back, and a burning liquid trickled down his throat. He sputtered, his eyes watering as the vile liquid nearly came up again. The girl quickly clapped her hand over his mouth, forcing him to swallow it. It took him a fair amount of time for the coughing to stop. "We've had that ready for weeks now," the girl commented to Jisoo, her tone riddled with grim amusement as she awkwardly patted Baekhyun's back. "I figured they'd catch him off guard eventually." A spark of realization appeared in Baekhyun eyes as the effects of the potion started to wear off. His gaze flickered up to Jisoo once more, but this time he was trembling uncontrollably, the color quickly draining from his face.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo could barely look at Baekhyun, especially as he mentally kicked himself for that failed distraction. Moreso when Baekhyun was 'snatched' from his space. "I did... yes." Jisoo was too tired to argue. He was just glad this smart student cleared the misunderstanding by herself. "Did you bring the antidote?" He asked the students, but he was looking at Baekhyun. "Also, he was injured. I don't have my wand with me right now so..." he trailed off. The pair probably knew what to do from here anyway. He moved off of the bed so that Baekhyun's friends can administer the antidote and treat his injury, and stood there wondering if he should at least stay outside.
Baekhyun's face lit up with happiness. "Really? Do you mean that?" he asked excitedly, quickly whipping around to face Jisoo. "I'd really like that!" He was about to chatter on, looking at Jisoo with dreamy eyes, when there's the sound of footsteps. Two older Ravenclaw students burst into the room- a boy who'd left earlier, and the girl who'd been sitting next to him at the table. The boy was hanging back slightly, holding a bottle of something carefully in both hands, but the girl surged forward immediately, regarding the strange Slytherin boy with a blazing expression. "What did you do?" she hissed. "You're a friend of those girls, aren't you?" She looped a protective arm around Baekhyun, earning a whine of displeasure from the younger male. Baekhyun wobbled dangerously in place, and the girl's eyebrows went up, her grip becoming increasingly more gentle. She glanced up at Jisoo. "Or... no. I'm sorry. You brought him up here, didn't you?"
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo did not shift his eyes from the pillow as Baekhyun delivered that line. It reminded him of Red Riding Hood but that was another story. He simply hummed in response as he moved towards Baekhyun's back, seeing the bump and the small wound. So that's why he seemed like dying. "We can meet anytime, you know..." Jisoo mumbled casually, hoping to distract Baekhyun from his inspection. "
@[S] Kim JiSoo "Of course it it," Baekhyun agreed, nodding slightly. "Since you're here. Why wouldn't it be?" His last sentence sounds slightly breathless, as if he's trying to convince himself. The feelings he thinks he has for Jisoo were as strong as ever, but the throbbing pain was starting to draw his real self out again, and the defective potion was certainly weaker than one that was brewed correctly. It wouldn't be long before the effects wore off. He reached up, his fingers wrapping loosely around Jisoo's wrist when the other male brushed his hair back. "Don't worry," he assured Jisoo, offering him a big smile. "This way, I can see you better."
@[R] Byun BaekHyun "It's gonna be okay Baek." Seriously, that's the only thing Jisoo could say in return. Chances are Baekhyun is going to remember this, as with other victims of love potions, so he did not want to embarrass him further when it wears off. He then noticed that when Baekhyun sat up, his dishevelled hair fell over his face. He simply brushed it back out of instinct. "Are you fine sitting like that?" He asked, about to persuade Baekhyun to lie down again. His gaze landed on the pillow and he was alarmed when he found a droplet of fresh blood.
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun gave him a sluggish nod, leaning back and letting him place him down on the bed. He pushed himself up almost immediately though, wanting to keep gazing at Jisoo's face. "You're so handsome," he gushed in a fond tone, reaching out to take both of Jisoo's hands. "You're amazing, and you make my head pound." The back of his head was throbbing with a dull pain, but he only laughed it off, knowing that it must be from how Jisoo was affecting him. He didn't mind it, not at all. He did mind that that strange feeling seemed to be getting stronger, though. Panic had no place in his mind, not with his beautiful angel right here next to him. He frowned slightly, a hazy look settling over his eyes.
The other Ravenclaw was too intimidated to even ask questions and he just gave the space.
"I'm gonna lay you down okay Baek?" Jisoo muttered and scuffled towards the bed. With a grunt, he placed the boy down and when he looked at his face after everything so far, it was so refreshing. Baekhyun was gorgeous this way, and Jisoo could almost dote if not for the former's helpess state. It was strange since Jisoo was pretty sure potions weren't contagious or something. He was confused. He snapped back to the moment and asked the other student. "Know his friends? Kindly ask for an antidote." The guy scurried out of the room, leaving the two alone.

Baekhyun smiled at the other's words- it was close enough to a compliment to make him happy. The spinning of his surroundings didn't seem to matter that much anymore. Or, at least it didn't matter until the floor disappeared from under his feet. He let out a fearful squeak, quickly glancing up at Jisoo. It took a moment for him to realize that the older student had lifted him up. A relieved sigh escaped his lips, and his weight sagged slightly in Jisoo's arms. He hummed obediently, closing his eyes tightly- he'd do anything to get his approval. He snuggled tiredly against Jisoo's shoulder, trying to ignore a strange feeling that was bubbling up from somewhere. Panic? He shouldn't be panicking. This was wonderful, this was everything he'd ever wanted.

It finally dawned to Jisoo that he was the target. "Damn it," he whispered to himself, one hand holding Baekhyun's and the other wiping his sweat and rubbing his temple. He tried to zone out Baekhyun's intoxicated compliments to save his own mind from overdose. Even he was getting dizzy. "You're doing good Baek, we're almost there." He managed to comment as they barely approached the landing. They were already on his floor. The hall was next and he was pretty sure the boy will faint. He would rather spare both of them the danger and carry Baekhyun instead. It was embarrassing enough that they held hands alone, no one else had to see. So, he walked the boy to a safe place and lifted him from the ground, in his arms. "Just close your eyes," he asked of Baekhyun, hoping thay he would comply. He could pretend to have fainted and everything will be all right. He paced as quickly as he can (thankfully there were only a few students at the hall) and knocked on the first door that he saw. When it was opened by a sixth grader, he entered and said, "Sorry but I need you to do me a favor. Can he stay here for a while?"

Baekhyun stared back up at the Slytherin boy, adoration written in every feature. "Okay," he agreed. "I'll go wherever you want me to!" His hand reached out and hesitantly grabbed onto Jisoo's, and as they started to walk, he swung their arms back and forth, bouncing excitedly with every step they took. This had to be the best day of his life! There was only one problem. He tilted his head, giving Jisoo a bit of a confused glance. "You're so handsome, you're making my head spin, hyung," he told him, giggling a bit. It really was true;he stairway was spinning and dipping in his vision, and it wasn't as good of a feeling as he thought it was supposed to be.

Jisoo got chills down his spine and he stiffly shifted his head like a rusty gear towards the source of his disbelief. "B-baekhyun? What are you doing?" He felt the arms around his body, creeping. "You two. What are you still staring out?" Instead of snarling, he almost choked. When they have scuffled away, Jisoo pried Baekhyun off of him and faced him, softly grabbing his chin to carefully look at his dazed face. Baekhyun was in a trance, and it seemed that the potion was defective. He laughed. "It's just me. I'll bring you to your room. Your friends probably have the antidote already."
@[S] Kim JiSoo The girl gave Jisoo an angry look, about to surge forward once more, but she was stopped by a firm tug on the back of her shirt. "He's not worth it," her friend muttered, glaring up at the two boys. Meanwhile, Baekhyun wasn't even considering going for the girl again. He was happier than he could ever think of being. The moment Jisoo had stepped in front of him was the moment his heart had burst. His arms wrapped awkwardly around Jisoo from behind, and he rested his chin on the taller male's shoulder. "You shouldn't say words like that," he informed him cheerfully. "It doesn't match your pretty face~!"

After darting a glare to one of them, Jisoo is left with just one to deal with. "Tsk! Cut it out," he spoke loud enough as he grabbed the girl by the back of her collar like a cat. He was met with anger and protest, and he pushed her strong enough to send her tumbling to her friend but not enough to injure. He put an arm over Baekhyun, shielding him from the cat in heat. He growled, "The hell is your problem? Too ugly to get a boyfriend? Get the out." He took a step back, closer to the boy's body as he feared he would slip past him and back to the girl he was 'supposed' to 'love'.

A muffled whimper escaped him, and he shifted slightly under the Slytherin girl's hands. The dark room turned blurry for an instant, but a second later everything snapped back into focus. The shooting pain had been enough to break through the potion's effect for just a moment, and he managed to shove the girl off of him, his eyes going as wide as saucers as he realized the situation that he was in. A moment later he spotted Jisoo, and the moment of clarity was gone. The dopey grin returned to his face, and he had enough time to happily chirp out the taller male's name before he was pushed back again and the girl's lips met his once more.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun [Yikes. He's helpless. ; _ ; He'd be scarred. I hope he doesn't get a hemorrhage from that smack. ;;]
Jisoo was racing down until he took a sudden halt. He forgot his wand. But time was running because who knows what could happen there--what with Baekhyun's present state. He knew that the trending love potions nowadays did not involve mere hand-holding and batting eyelashes. They involved things...a shade darker, thanks to a book from the muggle world. Jisoo had no time for lewd thoughts so he continued to rush to the dark cellars.
When he arrived there he stopped right in front of them in a brief moment of shock. His face would even make you think he was innocent. It quickly turned cold however, as he stared down at the scene, knowing who they were. The other girl, whose family was an underling of his, had already acknowledged his presence and tried to get her friend's attention, but the wench was too busy devouring the pretty boy's lips.

Baekhyun was practically skipping along as the two Slytherin girls dragged him down endless flights of stairs. Soon he'd get to see Jisoo again. He was so lost in his thoughts that it took him completely by surprise when he was shoved back and slammed roughly against the stone wall. He blinked in confusion; he didn't remember the castle being so dimly lit. He listened to the girls' conversation, still smiling. The one who'd grabbed him first was muttering under her breath, talking about how she didn't understand- why wasn't Baekhyun kissing her already? After all, she was the first one to lock eyes with him after he'd drank the potion. The other girl shrugged, not really caring. She'd only really come along for the thrill of it, but she did remind the girl that she'd forgotten to stir the potion a certain number of times, and that that might have changed the potion's effects a bit. The only answer was an angry grumble, and the first girl stubbornly grabs Baekhyun by the shoulders, mashing against his and not caring in the slightest that the Ravenclaw boy's head had smacked painfully against the stone wall.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun The students, especially the quick-witted Ravenclaws (who discussed how to revert the spell instead of following) and all-too-familiar Slytherins, caught on the scheme. The entourage gradually caused some commotion among the rest of the students in the Great Hall, but not fast enough for the authorities to notice. None of them went straight to tell anyway, for a love potion was always a juicy topic. Eventually, the news reached the students at the Common Room through a messenger. The resulting murmur interrupted Jisoo's concentration and he, too leaned it to listen. He was surprised to hear that a Ravenclaw was now victim to a pair of Slytherins while the rest listened casually. The boxes ticked and Jisoo was soon taken aback when he realized that it must be /him/. "Baekhyun?"
He stood from his seat to chase after the kid who reported it. "Hey!" He grabs him by the shoulder. "Does the guy have like, black hair and a nice face? A bit short too? Where did they go?"
@[S] Kim JiSoo Finally, Baekhyun stood up, his chair squeaking loudly as he pushed it back. The Ravenclaws who were talking to him fell silent, watching with bulging eyes as he casually walked over to the remaining students at the Slytherin table. He looked completely at ease talking to them, and his friends exchanged a couple of concerned looks. Normally, Baekhyun would be ting himself, but as he spoke to the Slytherin students at the end of the table, there was just a dopey grin on his face. The girl stood up, her eyes narrowing into slits as a friendly-looking smile spread across her face. "Yeah, we'll take you to the Common Room," she told him cheerfully, giving her friend a side glance. The other Slytherin girl took Baekhyun's other arm, and the two of them marched him out of the Great Hall and down to the dungeons.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun "What?" Jisoo chuckled once more to his defense, turning red. His friends squinted at him for his daydreaming. They were quick to catch on and then all at once he was surrounded by a bunch of giddy monkeys that were teasing him about a 'girl'. "No no it's not like that..." Jisoo tried to put out the fire with a few dismissive waves. As they continued, he resorted to covering his ears but only ended up cracking because the boys started to huddle up and poke his sides. "Geez!" He stood, still laughing and slapped the hands away. He changed the topic by apologizing for being late when all of them agreed to finish their food early just to study. In the end, the test tomorrow mattered more than Jisoo's lovelife and so he was safe...for now.
Of course, by that time, it had totally slipped his mind that Baekhyun could fall victim to a Slytherin fox back at the Great Hall. It was a good thing he reminded him to take care, right?
@[S] Kim JiSoo His classmates were chattering at Baekhyun worriedly, practically jumping over each other to tell him about a Slytherin girl who'd come over while he was out of the Great Hall. The conversation was a bit much for Baekhyun to process, though, and their babbling starts to fade into the background noise. He turned in his chair, a mild frown tugging at his lips when he spots the empty space at the Slytherin table. His little interaction with Jisoo played over and over in his mind. At the end of the Slytherin table, a girl huffed in annoyance; Baekhyun had always been so careful not to drink, and now when he finally did, she had missed her chance to be the last person to talk to him.
Meanwhile as Jisoo made his way to the Slytherin Common room, he began to think about the student he just met. He recalled their encounter, and in his colorful imagination the boy shone like a diamond. Was he enchanted? He widened his eyes in disbelief when he caught himself doing so. "Aish what's wrong with me? As if..." He laughed the thought aside, entering the busy room, but Jisoo's mind would not cooperate. Even when he joined his peers at the table, he still had more to ask himself about this Baekhyun. In a way he would like to think he was just curious. "That's right," He smiled, slipping his thought out loud for the rest to hear. "I mean--" he chuckled at the pause. "Yeah, go on."
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun nodded and smiled, giving him a little wave before turning and making his way back into the Great Hall. He couldn't get over how kind the older male was, and he was surprised to realize that if he got the chance, he'd be excited to spend more time with him. He brushed away the strange feelings, sliding in his seat, and picked up his goblet to drink from. Only when he'd already swallowed half of the pumpkin juice did he hear his friend beside him warning him not to drink from it.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo stood in that moment, all at once enchanted and unaware. "Yes... I mean, thank you." He smiled back and said lightly, "Take care, Baekhyun."
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun shrugged. He didn't really know what was so special about his pumpkin juice either, other than the fact that it always tasted really good. Maybe if he could get back to the Great Hall quickly, he could have the rest of his meal. He smiled at Jisoo, and this time it's a lot more natural. The taller boy wasn't so scary after all; at least, not that scary. "Oh, I see! I hope your study group goes well," he responded, the fearful look completely gone from his expression.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun /Wow... he has no idea/ Jisoo thought. He looked at Baekhyun as if in fascination. "Your pumpkin juice!" He chuckled. "I wonder, what's so special about it?" He asked rather smugly, knowing the reason behind the girls' mischief. It was a signature move of silly Slytherin girls. There are at least a handful of them in each generation.
"Mhm. He's cool." Jisoo had joy in mentioning his friend. Soon, Jisoo's body clock reminded him of all the things he needed to do back in their dorm (which included a study group) and he looked at his wristwatch just to confirm. "Ah, man. I have to go."
[Five?! I guess it's fun enough for five times... I've only tried it once and got slytherin but I wasn't contented with just one test so I got my younger siblings to do it as well. It's fun. The patronus one as well. Did you find out about yours?]
