@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun nodded happily. Of course he was going to invite Jisoo. People on the Ravenclaw team invited their boyfriends or girlfriends all the time, didn't they? The thought caused a wave of red to spread to his cheeks. Did he already think of Jisoo as his boyfriend?
He snapped out of his thoughts when Jisoo started to leave, and he quickly gave a little wave in return. "Oh- yeah! I'll see you there!"
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo looked at Baekhyun as he listened, also glancing at the girl with an embarrassed smile. "Are you really inviting me?" He sent the same smile at the ground, as his face was red for some reason. He managed a nod. "Okay. It's gonna be fun."
A whistle was heard from his group and faced them to yell, "I know! Just a minute!" He turned back to the Ravenclaws and chuckled. "I'll see you guys," he said, giving a short salute before running to his pack.
@[S] Kim JiSoo Once Joohyuk went back to join the rest of the Slytherins, Baekhyun seemed much more confident. He nodded in response to Jisoo's words, giving him a little smile. "I enjoyed it, too. I'll find some way to repay you for the beautiful drawing." His friend raised an eyebrow and smirked, but said nothing. "There's a practice Quidditch game against Slytherin later," he told Jisoo after a moment. "I'm sure you can come, if you want. It might be fun."

Joohyuk's response was a chic smile and a wave, classic Slytherin. Jisoo only noticed that the space between him and Baekhyun only got tighter because of being sandwiched by two friends. He looked up at the ceiling and held his hands together with a sigh, as his mind wandered off to think about what that bastard Nam Joohyuk told him earlier.
Finally, the class was dismissed and Jisoo dipped a bit to speak to Baekhyun and his Ravenclaw friend. He said, "I really enjoyed class today. This was a good idea." SlenderNam was already with the rest of their pack by then and waiting for Jisoo to join them for the next class.
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun gave his partner a little nod. That was the trouble, he definitely did know Joohyuk from Quidditch. The other male had knocked him off of his broom once. Baekhyun had naturally assumed that it had been intentional, and had avoided him ever since. It was just his luck that he would be Jisoo's best friend.
His Ravenclaw friend appeared in no time at all, immediately placing a hand on Baekhyun's shoulder when she noticed Joohyuk. She gave the Slytherin Quidditch player a little nod in greeting, at least trying to be a little bit friendly.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Right away, Jisoo understood Baekhyun's stiff reaction. After all, his best friend was a Slytherin AND a rather aggressive quidditch player. He pursed his lips to a dainty smile at his friend before turning to Joohyuk who gave him a confused look that asked 'What's going on?'. "Anyway," he whispered between them, "you already know each other from quidditch so..." he chuckled.
Jisoo's eyes scanned the room for Baekhyun's female friend whose name he strangely still doesn't know. He gave her a minute nod to come over for his friend.

@[S] Kim JiSoo The minute he caught a glimpse of Joohyuk coming over, Baekhyun instantly disappeared behind his friend, 16 years' worth of warnings ringing out in his head. Of course Jisoo was going to have Slytherin friends, and of course they would want to talk to the taller male. Maybe if he could just disappear for a few minutes, nothing could go wrong. That plan was immediately foiled when Jisoo spoke to him. The smaller student just nodded, praying that Jisoo couldn't hear how quickly his heart was beating.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun The girl's clique was on one side of the assembly while Jisoo's pack was on the other. Jisoo kept his partner Baekhyun by his side. As the professor announced the successful concoctions (they were the first pair to do it right) the tall male received a tap and soon had a long arm around his shoulder. It was his best friend, Joohyuk.
Joohyuk was tall and he almost looked like Jisoo at first glance. He peered over to see the Ravenclaw friend before whispering something. Jisoo's response was a snicker and an elbow to his side, however.
Jisoo leaned down to sneak a chat with Baekhyun. "Baek I'd like to introduce you to someone."
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun shifted, awkward trying to reach over Jisoo's hand. It was very important that he got him to stop talking, and... the professor's voice rang out and he quickly straightened up, trying to act as if he hadn't just been trying to silence his partner. One of the Slytherin girls passed by them, and hissed out a threat to Jisoo. It seemed most of the House was going to stand up for Baekhyun's petty wooer. Baekhyun frowned; half of him wanted to hide behind the taller student- away from the scary Slytherins- and half of him wanted to snarl at the girl and protect Jisoo from harm. He finally just let out a sigh, tugging on Jisoo's arm and leading him over to where the professor had told them to gather.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo easily held Baekhyun's hand off his face, laughing. "It's true though." He then took another sideswipe, saying, "Even if I'm a guy I'll choose you ten times over." His words attracted attention, even from his friends and the professor--who just in time happened to tell them to gather round.
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun's eyes widened, and he reached out to touch his fingers to the edge of the paper. "You made me look so beautiful," he whispered, looking up at Jisoo with shining admiration in his eyes. "I'm a flower boy." He grinned, trying to mimic the pose that he was doing in the drawing. At Jisoo's loud comment, he gasped and quickly tried to press his hand over the older boy's mouth. "That's not nice," he informed him, hiding a smile of amusement.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo finished his drawing with dexterity. He owed his skill to glassmithing, where he had to work in speed. "It's not as good as you are in person but..." he chuckled quietly and showed the sketch to his muse. "Jjan. Flower boy Baekhyun." At that time the Slytherin girls' chattering slowly became more irritating to him. That made him speak a notch louder to let them hear. "Gosh, Baekhyun. You're prettier than SOME girls I know." He shot a glare at the posse.
@[S] Kim JiSoo Baekhyun struggled to reserve his smile a bit, but finally he just gave up on it. He stared at Jisoo with adoring eyes, staying completely still as he watched him put pencil to paper. Behind them, the Slytherin girl left her partner to go and discuss something with her friends, every now and then shooting a 'look' at the happy pair.

Jisoo chuckled. "That's perfect. Can you stay still for like three minutes though?" He cannot hide the nervously happy smile on his face as he fumbled for his pencil. He patted his trousers for his pocket journal before fishing it out and leaning his side against the table. Although he was able to hear the scowl, he paid no attention. He'll deal with her later.
Baekhyun glanced down, a bit surprised at the sudden contact, but immediately lifted his chin again, smiling happily. "Really? Go for it! No one's asked to draw me before." He shifted a little in chair, lifting his hands to his chin and making an exaggeratedly cute pose (think the flowers in 'Cheer Up' lmao). "How about like this? Or something else." The Slytherin girl, on her way to the teacher, scowled. She could draw just as well, couldn't she? That should be /her/.

Before anything else, Jisoo mostly thought about the first part of Baekhyun's report. He smiled, "He'd be proud to see our teamwork. Lucky I got paired with a smart one this time." He folded the cleaning cloth, set it aside, and leaned his back against the table, holding his torso up by a wrist. An idea came to mind. He looked at his friend with a pat on his thigh. "While we're waiting for class to finish, why don't I draw you?"
Baekhyun slid back down into his chair, using his legs to scoot himself closer to his partner. "He was glad to see that I'm not terrified of you. I think he's going to grade all of the samples once everyone is finished making the potion, but he looked happy enough with what I gave him." He grinned, sitting up straight in his seat. It almost looked like he grew a little bit. Almost.

Baekhyun's response to his expression was unexpected and it lingered in his mind as he was left to clean the table. There was a pounding on his chest that was hard to suppress and he smiled a silly smile as he said to hiimself, "That kid..."
Jisoo was already done in clearing the area when Baekhyun returned. As he was wiping, he looked up to speak to his friend. "What did he say? Did we do okay?" He asked with a subtle brightness to his tone.

Baekhyun slipped his wand back into his robes (ha that's what she said), turning to Jisoo. "Maybe later," he suggested, a little smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. The smirk turned into a delighted smile when Jisoo's hands ruffled through his hair. He nodded, taking a vial from the counter and scooping up a good amount of the potion. He carefully capped it, then took a label and wrote both of their names on it. "I'll be right back," he told his partner, before making his way over to the professor's desk and handing in the sample. The professor took it with a surprised look, and nodded approvingly. "Baekhyun... it's nice to see that you've found someone you can work with." Baek just smiled and nodded, before turning back and nearly skipping back to the cauldron.

Jisoo was just as thrilled, he looked at Baekhyun with the same wide grin plastered on his face. "We did it!"
He wrapped his arm around his friend and said, "Man I could kiss you right now." It was an expression and technically he wouldn't be able to do that so he just hugged the smaller's head and ruffled his hair. "Let's call the professor?"

"Oh... really?" Baekhyun's face practically lit up with happiness- the incantation was always his favorite part. He handed Jisoo his stirring stick, and after the older male was done, he turned up the heat and drew his wand out from the folds of his robe. He cleared his throat, and his wand swished over the cauldron in the form of a neat figure eight. "Felixempra," he called out clearly, and almost immediately the liquid in the cauldron shimmered and changed color to a brilliant gold. Baekhyun's expression split into a wide grin, and he took a step back.
@[R] Byun BaekHyun Jisoo shared the glance, making their eyes meet for a brief moment. He smiled a soft smile, the kind that grows on his face when he is truly enjoying his time. "Yeah..." After the cauldron was heated, he carefully took a pinch of common rue and sprinkled it over the liquid. He then stepped behind Baekhyun, careful not to brush against him, as he went over to the other side of the table. The potion was almost done. It would be cute to hear Baekhyun do the incantation. "I'll stir. You can have it Baek."

Baekhyun smiled as the powder gently swirled around in the cauldron, and immediately began to stir again. "It's so pretty," he commented, glancing over at Jisoo. It sparkled, just like the Slytherin boy's eyes. He snorted with laughter, realizing that he'd very nearly said that out loud. That would have been a disaster, wouldn't it?
