@◬kim seokjin Nodding his head in approval, he removed his uniform jacket, hung it on the back of one of the chairs, tied on an apron, and got to work. Swaying his hips to his own imaginary rhythm, he hummed as he cracked an egg onto the heated frying pan. Cooking eggs was his favorite thing to cook, so he was confident he'd blow Jin away with his amazing skills. It didn't take long for him to finish. Sliding two cooked and seasoned over eggs onto a plate, he touched up the simple dish with some herbs and a side of carrots.

Gliding over to where Jin was sitting, he placed the plate down on the table next to him. "Bon appetite, Jinnie~" He winked, and went back to the kitchenette to clean his mess. Once he was finished, he poured himself a cup of coffee and sat across the table from Jin. Amusement aside, he pondered seriously what he should do next to keep the other in his sight. Remembering their assignment for the day, he excused himself momentarily and exited the room. It didn't take him long to return with the case files. "Since you're so adamant about doing work, why don't we go over our assignment for today before we're dispatched?"

@❃ park kyungri Alright, reverse psychology failed. No biggie. Perhaps she wasn't the manager, but evidence showed her involvement. "Well, regardless of whether or not you manage the place, I think we need to come to an understanding here, little miss priss. ion is one thing, but the existence of brothels is illegal."

Rubbing the bridge of his nose he loudly sighed- it was immature, but he didn't really care. "How can you work part-time in a brothel without even knowing it was a brothel? How dense can you be?" He was tired and irritated. "With your MPA degree, wouldn't you be able to discern the kind of environment you're working in, in the first place? Park Kyungri, you're going to have to try harder than that." Between good cop and bad cop, he would always be the bad cop. Looking at her paper once more, her degree of education checked out, but her reasoning was flawed.

Well, he actually did not know she was brought here without any charges, he was just told to come in and be himself. You know, the stuck up prick of the police force. "They at least read you your rights, correct?"

@◬jackson wang Leaning closer to take a look at the pictures that the officer brought out for her, Kyungri's eyes were raised at the pictures. 'Interesting.Seems like there's another rat within the premises...' she thought to herself before a smile graced her lips before leaning back in her chair. "You interest me. I wonder how this looks like I'm managing this so called place." she started before pointing at the picture on the far left and the one next to it. "Sure, this picture has me in it, but I had just started working here, part-time jobs are a thing these days you know? But you see. I had no idea this place was a brothel." she stated while lazily pointing to the other photo next to it. "If you take a look at this place from the outside, it's a club and there are people dancing in the background. this so called evidence won't help you put me behind bars for whatever reason. I'm just a mpa student trying to get some legit experience in the business field." she concluded before shrugging slightly.

Of course she wasn't telling the whole truth, but it was true that she was in the middle of getting her official mpa. Her records were completely clean and made up since the gang head made sure she would have a way out if she was ever in a messed up situation like this too, Kyungri never thought she'd have to rely on that, but she was grateful. Plus, she never really went out to the brothel herself, she did most of the work at the gang's HQ, so no one really knew who she was except for the es she hand picked herself.

"Hopefully you do know that I was brought here without an actual warrant or charges right? 36 hours left officer, times ticking."

@◬jackson wang Jin tapped his fingers against his lap slowly, sitting up more, glancing around as he took in the lounge feel. His pout was now gone, his face clear of any emotions instead. Jin lied; he was never in this lounge room. He's never set foot into it til' today- it's not like he had a reason to go here. It was just work, work, work. Small talk with workers proved no worth to him since that wasn't his main reason to be here anyways.

"My eggs?" he stopped talking for a moment before mumbling, "Over easy, I guess." running his fingers through his hair, he tugged at the small knots, ruining his hair's natural look, some strands standing up. Sitting up even more straighter for a moment, a small huff escaping his mouth, he leaned over, elbows propped up, resting his chin on the palms of his hands as he thought for a moment.

Narrowing his eyes for a moment, he shook his head, "Did you make a nickname out of my real name earlier?" he asked, exasperated, now realizing it. "I hate my real name, just stick with Jin," the older male grumbled, looking at his younger subordinate, dragging one of his fingers against the table gently, making unnecessary patterns on it, without a second thought.

@◬kim seokjin Jackson swore Jin acted like a child sometimes. Perhaps that was one of the reasons they didn't get along. Busying himself with readying the coffee pot, he checked the fridge. The crate of eggs he left in there was still half full- he bought it to make himself breakfast sometimes in the lounge's kitchenette- and he considered making Jin breakfast. He did drag him here, and he had to play nice sometimes if he wanted to get the other to trust him more. "How do you like your eggs?" He asked, taking out some eggs as well as the necessary materials to cook them.

The tension he usually felt around the other seemed to loosen up a bit. Of course he didn't fully trust the older man, but he felt more comfortable with him in his sight where he could keep him in line. He didn't forget what he heard in the file room.
◬kim seokjin 7 years ago
@◬jackson wang Blinking a few times, he sighed. "Really? The lounge area?" he walked back in, shutting the door, rolling his eyes, "That's so boring. We're here everyday. I was expecting something more fun but if you insist, you can still lead." he narrowed his eyes for a moment, thinking about something. Maybe once it gets busier, he can sneak out. Or during their little coffee fest, he'll excuse himself for the restroom and leave. He had time.

'Manners, my ' Jin thought bitterly, forcing a tight smile as he followed the younger companion.

Stuffing his hands back into his pockets, his footsteps were slow and lazy as he continued to devise his plan, nodding to himself a few times. Once they made it to the lounge, he scrunched his nose up in distaste before letting it fade, glancing around. It was how every typical lounge looked but maybe it was a pro that it was near the file room. Though, he was all up for foods and drinks, he wasn't sure if he was gonna trust it so easily.

Taking small steps towards one of the chairs, he plopped down onto it, leaning back, letting his head roll back just slightly, bottom lip jutted out as he pouted.

@◬kim seokjin "Pff. You'll have to work harder, Seokjinne." He teased, rolling his eyes. When the other pulled away, he stopped at looked at him curiously. Tilting his head he watched the other shuffle, obviously uncomfortable. His brows furrowed when the older walked to the entrance and held open the door. "What are you doing, jackass?"

Breaking into a fit of laughter, it finally dawned on him that Jin thought he was talking about a cafe or something. "We have a perfectly fine employee lounge here. You know, where we bring our lunches and eat? Where we drink coffee in the morning? Come on, hyung. You've been here longer than me, you should know this." His laughter broke down into more amused giggles as he hid his grin behind his hand. Pointing down the adjacent hallway by the door, he continued to laugh as he head toward the lounge.

@❃ park kyungri Brushing a hand through his bleach blonde locks, he leaned forward and returned her smile. "Well, now that's curious." Unclipping a set of photos, that had actually just been developed when he arrived at the station, he placed them on the table and spread them across evenly, facing her. "How did you end up in these photos then?" Leaning back in his chair, he cupped his chin in mock curiosity. "I mean, we found you at the brothel. These pictures are evidence of you working, dealing, and, " he looked her blankly in the eyes. "Managing the brothel?"

He was a master at stubborn bantering. It didn't matter how tired he was. He wasn't leaving until he squeeze every ounce of truth from her pretty pink lips. Crossing his arms and getting comfortable, he waited for her response.

@◬jackson wang Seokjin was at the point where he was actually running out of excuses. This rookie he was with was catching on quickly and it irritated him, but he tried not to let it get under his skin. Or at least try to make it noticeable. He most likely had the sharpest nose in the force, aside from him but at least he wasn't against himself or that'd be a pain in the , wouldn't it? So, this is basically a pain his - but less. But the 'playful' banter and sly remarks was also a way to get the younger male away but of course it didn't work. Nothing did. His eyes widened slightly before limiting himself to not make any expression as he unconsciously leaned forward as well before stopping once realization hit.

His eyes were narrowed for a moment before smiling brightly, "Damn, I wish I was able to push you a little bit more to see that scene unfold," Jin paused before shrugging loosely, faking disappointment, "I guess next time I'll get you on your knees to beg."

His jaw was clenched once he felt the other grasp onto his wrist, the spot beginning to feel warm. At first it felt comforting but as seconds passed, it got incredibly uncomfortable and suffocating. He still couldn't get used to regular touching that held no meaning. Swiftly, he pulled his wrist away from Jackson, blinking a few times. Instead, he shoved his hands into his pockets, balling them for a moment before starting to walk out of the headquarters, holding the door open for his partner.

With a glint in his eyes, he murmured lowly, "You lead; it was your idea after all."

@◬jackson wang She was annoyed, angered, a bit sleepy, but mostly furious. She had no idea what came to the newbie's head saying that it was okay to rat her out to the cops. Kyungri was sure the girl was paid, but she was more mad at herself for choosing to place the girl under her wing, in her brothel she was managing. She had given that dumb girl a place to be, clothed her, paid her and gave her a new life that was far better than the terrible life she was living in before. Because let's face it, if you were having a good life, rich and had connections, you probably wouldn't have joined a gang in the first place. The cops had somehow found out where she was and had arrested her close to midnight. Now she was stuck in this cramped, unfashionable, and dark interrogation room where she had stayed silent for the past 4 hours. She was now alone, getting tired, and more pissed by the second.

She heard a knock at the door and her name being called when the door opened to reveal a tall, well built man who was probably the next officer to question her again. 'at least this one is more attractive than the past three...' she thought to herself before crossing her legs and giving a small nod. She watched the male sit down, rub his temples and look at her in the eye before throwing out a question at her. A small amused smile formed on her lips before she locked eyes with the male and opened for the first time while she was stuck here. "Honestly officer, I have no idea why I'm here. Do you really believe that girl's statement? She obviously has no proof to back up her words. Why waste your time questioning me, who has absolutely nothing to do with this brothel you're talking about?"

@◬kim seokjin Deciding to stand quietly, he pouted his way through Jin's little burst of amusement. Perhaps it was because of the early morning hour that made Jackson a little less patient than normal. Then again, he was known for speaking his mind whether anyone actually cared or not. Opening his mouth to protest, his voice hitched in his throat as the older male trapped him between himself and the wall. Tilting his chin upward to match the elder's height, he huffed haughtily, showing the other that he wouldn't buckle down any more- though the blush spreading on his cheeks was inevitable. He couldn't help but be mildly flustered. Perhaps the sultry deep voice the other used would have buckled his knees were it not for the sarcastic little banter he decided to bestow upon Jackson. Rolling his eyes and glaring off to the side, he shook his head. This little .

He was about ready to slap the out of the other but was interrupted by his chin being guided to look at the other. Maintaining an unbreakable eye contact with Jin, he regarded the other with blank calculating eyes. Unconsciously, he his lips as well, mirroring the older. He was about to lean forward-- without even realizing it-- but his trance was broken when the other finally agreed to just follow him.

Grinning widely, he pushed the other's arm away from his chin and instead took his wrist to guide him down the hall. "Ah, really? That's great buddy. Man, I thought I'd have to get on my knees and beg~" He hummed happily, proud-- and a little relieved- that he didn't have to argue with Jin anymore. That, and he finally could keep the older man in his sight and out of trouble.

@◬jackson wang Jin noticed the small quirks the younger did whenever he was annoyed or irritated as it is. The way he tapped his look, barely catching as he rolled his tongue against his cheek, and trying to hide his expressions. Sometimes even a forced knit smile if he could. Seokjin concluded that Jackson gets fairly antsy and it was quite evident, even if he tried to hide it. Laughter elicited from his mouth once the other male stopped talking for a moment, trying to muffle it as he covered his mouth slightly, clearing his throat. "You okay? You seem— a little off. I wonder why.." he spoke mockingly, tapping his cheek. Jin was silent for a moment, his face free from any expression as he stepped closer, dangerously close to him as he placed his hand gently on the wall besides them. "Yeah?" he murmured, head tilt as his gaze settled on him, his voice dropping some octaves as he smirked slyly, "What if I don't like tea? Are you gonna tell me there's snacks, smoothies, frappucinos, and several other things to complete the menu?"

The older male was surprised at his words, taken back but then his eyes were narrowed. With his free hand, he grasped the other's chin with his thumb and index finger, tilting his head up to look at him, "I would say you're lying to me. I typically don't like liars, Jackson." he tsked, his lips tentatively, "Usually, they get punished but I'll let you off the hook because you're oh-so cute." Seokjin mused, before sighing heavily. "But since you're so damn persistent, I guess I'll go or I'll have you on my the whole day."

@◬kim seokjin Shaking his head in disbelief, he tapped his foot impatiently and rolled his tongue on this inside of his cheek once again. It was a nervous habit okay? And seriously, could this guy get anymore ing stubborn?? Scratching his head, and looking Jin dead in the eye he pushed back his annoyance and played along. "Yes, because I'm stupid I am saying this- I--" His lips pursed and he closed his eyes after the kiss was blown. Heart racing, he began to sweat nervously. It was getting a little hard to breathe. Rubbing his eyes and shaking away his body's unnecessary responses, like god-damn body calm yourself, he blankly stared. "Well then I'd tell you there is tea." Crossing his arms, he quirked a brow at the older man, urging him to try testing his patience one more time.

Swallowing thickly and letting out a deep sigh, he cursed himself before doing what he was about to do. But he had to keep him away from the records room. "I-it's because. I want you to like me hyung." He said as cutely as he could muster, blinking innocently at the older man. Thankfully, his previous physical reactions to the other had mostly faded now that the older clearly had to make an of himself today, however, because of his reactions, perhaps his little act would convince him to comply.

@son naeun Jin leaned back slightly, glancing up for a moment, his lips pursed before jutting out his bottom lip that he was quite fond of. His head was tilted to the side, drumming his fingers against the desk gently, "If we don't find anything.. Mmm, there's a chance but usually important events occur at the last minute so fingers cross and hopefully it does happen..?" he replied, unsure, "If we had to do a round two of this, I don't know how it would turn out. Probably pure hell, but at the same time, I'm used to not sleeping for several days. If you need to rest, you can and I'll just wake you up when something weird-" he cuts himself off, gesturing towards her computer, "Happens there. I swear I won't touch anything- I do have a knack for messing up things on computers." his eyes gleamed with mischief.

His eyebrows furrowed slightly as she spoke of herself. Ah, privileged. With a tight smile, he nodded as if he understood. Which he didn't; they were the complete opposites and he wasn't fond of that fact but it's not like he could say anything, could he? "Alluring?" a snort actually escaped his mouth which he quickly covered by coughing, glancing away to the side, the tips of his ears beginning to turn red. The sound of the computer filled his ears and he cringed away slightly; not understanding how he could sit through this for 10 hours, but it was probably just him being a baby. A tugging feeling could be felt at his chest as he leaned over slightly, elbow propped up on top of his lap, head resting on top of his hand, a blank look appearing on his face.

Which, he then quickly snapped out of when he was responded to. A forced chuckle was heard from the other, "I'll keep that in mind for next time I have a problem with my computer."

@◬jackson wang The look on the other's face when he coyly shut the door fueled him. How funny. He mused to himself, shaking his head slightly with a sly smirk appearing on his face. And oh, his reaction when he brought up his playful bantering; he could never get tired of it. But, if he continued, he'd probably get hit sooner or later- which Jin didn't mind since it still would be entertaining. Call him a piece of , but he basically feeds off of attention.

"It cannot wait." he started before gasping, "Did Jackson Wang say work can wait?" his foot steps slowed down as he looked down at the others, cupping his cheeks, his eyes widened in surprise, "Who are you and what did you do to the stupid man I usually work with?" teasingly, he ruffled his hair and stepped away, sending him a wink, placing his hand over his lips, blowing him a kiss. "What if I told you I don't like coffee?" Seokjin said suddenly, tilting his head, trying to get out of it still.

The corners of his lips quirked up as he planted himself just a few meters before the door, dead-set on just standing here as it is. "What's the real reason why you want to hang out with me?"

@❃ park kyungri It was late when the tip originally came in. A young woman who had come from the Sirens territory had come to the station to turn in her boss. The next day, officers stormed the facility and arrested the woman in charge of the brothel. Jackson was called in to interrogate the woman. He was told she refused to open to any of the other officers. Reluctant, he returned to the station from the comfort of his home to interrogate this stubborn woman.

Straightening his uniform, he knocked on the interrogation room door before walking inside. "Park Kyungri?" He asked out loud, keeping his eyes on the clipboard in front of him rather than the woman in question. Pulling out the chair across from her, he let out a deep sigh as he set the clipboard down in front of him. He rubbed his temples and looked up at her. "Look, you don't want to be here. I don't want to be here. So let's cut to the chase." The sight of the woman caught him slightly off guard. She was very beautiful and the clothing she wore framed her figure very well. Thankfully, he was trained to keep his eyes from wandering and locked his eyes strictly on her own. "Are you related to the brothel?"

@◬kim seokjin "Maybe. But I feel as though most of the time I'm just gonna be sitting and staring. What a night to look forward to, huh?" Naeun sighs, deeply laced with something between boredom and irritation. Sure, she did love her job, and she didn't mind Jin at all. He was nice, comforting in a way -- but she was just remorseful about the sleep she would be losing. "Do you think if we don't find anything today, they'll make us stake out again?" Her eyebrows knit together in concern, genuinely worried about whether or not they would have to stay up all night once more. Naeun did pull multiple all nighters back in college, but she was weak now. She needed her sleep.

"No, I don't." In fact, she preferred it. It lessened the tense mood. "I don't know, I grew up in a more.. suburban area. I guess I had it all, really." Naeun runs her digits through silky hazel locks, lips pursed in thought. It's not like she wanted to brag, but she was aware of how privileged she was while growing up. "But I think it's a nice vibe to have! It's... alluring, I'll say?" Naeun offers a smile, shoulders shrugged almost as if embarrassed by her sudden spiel about vibes and whatnot. The computer remains ever still, a few cracks in the feed here and there, but it's still relatively quiet, and right before things start to get awkwardly silent, Jin speaks up to break it. "Timid? I think it's because I understand computer language more than I do my own. I can't look between the lines of statements like a lot of people do. Though, if you have a computer problem, I'm your girl."
◬jackson wang 7 years ago
@◬kim seokjin Rolling his tongue in the inside of his cheek, irritated, he nodded his head curtly. The other's mocking way of shutting the door only fueled his suspicions even more. Returning a curt smile at the other, he bit his lip and looked to the side, them shortly after.

As they trailed down the hall, he could feel the older man's shoulders tense up. The obvious discomfort the other felt brought a sense of pleasure through Jackson's spine. The other may have gotten him earlier with his little flirt episode, but he would get him back. Jin's repeat of his statement earlier brought a bit of a blush to his cheeks, but he tried not to think too much of it. It would be creepy if the older man thought about him all the time.... right? Right.

"It can wait." he said bluntly, not letting the other go. He wasn't getting away from him that easy. "Come on, it's just coffee. Besides, you hardly do your work anyways. What's the rush now?" He smiled proudly, but the feeling quickly diminished when his hand was enveloped by the other's. Looking at Jin with confused eyes, he quickly slid his hand away. Watching the other slide his arm away with careful eyes, he blinked rapidly in a daze. "Um, ah..." He was suddenly at a loss of words, flustered. "Anyways, lets go g- get that coffee. Your work can wait."

He cursed under his breath for stuttering.

@◬jackson wang "Oh, the prettiest." Jin's tone dripped with the infamous sarcasm, his lips quirking up into a faint smirk once he realized the reaction he obtained from the younger male. It more or less fueled him to want to do more. How entertaining. He was quite amused, since he never thought he'd ever see him like that, guess he had a new thing to strive for. It was such a shame that he ended that small tidbit fairly quickly, he should have dragged it on. Oh well, maybe next time, and he was quite dead set on that thought.

Amusement was evident on his face as his smirk grew into a lazy smile, eyes filled with playful feel. Noticing his gaze, he stood up straighter, clearing his throat as he blocked the other's view. Rubbing the back of his neck slightly, he craned his head up, glancing at the ceiling as his free hand grasped onto the door handle, shutting it gently, a coy smile replacing his other one.

Feeling the arm wrap around him so suddenly, his eyes suddenly grew wide at the sudden contact felt between them. He wasn't used to being touched by others, nor was he that fond of it, especially since it never appealed to him, especially ever since he was younger. Skin to skin contact is something he feared, but he didn't let it show. If it was part of a job, then of course he'd do it, but outside of a job; maybe if he was drunk or high off his he could go right for it. Seokjin's breath hitched, before grunting, "Sorry, I did tell you that you have to work in order for me to have you on my mind everyday," he replied slyly before begrudgingly following the other.

"Coffee now?" Jin asked, blinking a few times. confused, "Oooh, can't we have a rain check or something on this, I'd rather take care of work that I was falling behind on." which was true. He was falling behind on some of his work here- not like he cared nonetheless, but if it gave him more access towards the confidential files, he could stay there all day, nose deep without any rest. He wasn't all that sure why Jackson was so persistent so suddenly. Usually, he never wanted to be with Jin if it didn't involve work. Lifting up one of his hands, he grasped onto the younger's hand, giving his fingers a 'playful' (or not) squeeze, keeping his grasp on them before shrugging his arm off, letting his hand go.

@◬kim seokjin // props to you for being able to reply to my writing -thumbs up-

Ignoring the obvious jabs at him, he continued his flattered facade. "You think my head is pretty? Wow, I've never received so many compliments from you. It must be my lucky day." Jackson was a fairly patient man, especially when it came to keeping an eye on someone suspicious. It came with the job. Trust was earned, not given just because of the title. However, the other leaning so close to him did catch him off guard. The darkening gaze of the older man froze him on the spot as the words he spoke seemed to melt his heart like lava. He was used to flirting with others and being rejected almost immediately, but when people flirted with him, he was always caught off guard. Cheeks stained red, lips pursed, and eyebrows furrowed in embarrassment, he was finally able to return back to reality from the sharp sting emitting from his forehead.

Shaking his head and holding the spot where he was flicked, he glared at the other, a firm pout embraced his features. Finally remembering why they were talking in the first place, he craned his neck to the door behind the other man and hummed. He decided he would check the documents room later to make sure every thing was in order. He thanked his perfect memory for things like this. Memorizing the whole records room was a pain, but for times like this, he felt proud of it.

He could tell the other was being careful around him. They didn't talk much outside of jobs, but Jackson felt it was about time to break the other's walls and get into his skin. Wrapping an arm around Jin's shoulders he grinned. "How could you forget? I was looking forward to working with you again, buddy." He stepped forward, tugging the other with his arm as a silent 'walk with me'. "Anyways, lets go get some coffee and get ready for the day while we wait for the chief to get here, yeah?"

@◬jackson wang "Wouldn't know what goes through that pretty little head of yours whenever you see me. Who knows, there's probably times that you fantasized about hurting me," Jin joked, though, at the same he meant it. A person can only hold so much suspicion before letting it get the best of them and frustrate them all the while, they must have wanted to take it out on their prey. Prey being Jin. Rolling his eyes, he scoffed, "Don't be so flattered, Jackson. You have to work for me to think about you," pausing, he leaned closer towards him, the mischievous smirk finding it's way back onto his face, "For me to think about you constantly, so that you're the only thing on my mind, day and night," his lips, he laughed out loud, flicking the other's forehead, backing away.

"I tell no excuses, I don't believe in them." he huffed, rubbing his arm briskly, lips pursed just slightly for a moment once he noticed the darkened expression. Swallowing thickly, he just smiled numbly instead, "Yeah, our friendship but be the best at the station, huh? I hope others envy it." thinking for a moment, he blinked a few times, processing what was spoken, "A job today? Oh, right.." he trailed off, looking slightly cautious now, "The whole day?" clucking his tongue, he glanced away, "I don't think the task is gonna take the whole day, so I don't think we need to spend it together, but a drink does sound appealing. Maybe, we'll see."

@❃jennie kim Jin continued to babble on with no particular point in the words he spoke. It was more or less just a way to not hear silence the whole time, she didn't even bother replying to him. Rather, show any annoyance. Which was odd. He wanted to be annoying on purpose so maybe she can blow up in his face and declare she do this mission alone so he can sneak off for the day and do something worth his time. Or, he was supposed to take up a request from the gang but that can't really happen either. How conflicting. Poking at the things that were neatly tidied up in the room, he purposely knocked them over or disorganized them to piss off the other.

Hearing the door opened, Jin averted his gaze towards the door slyly, raising one eyebrow at the sudden appearance of a different woman. "Er, yes?" he answered, unsure. He eyed her for a moment, listening to what she said and his sly expression dropped entirely, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly, "Well, you could have answered me or something." he muttered under his breath towards the girl who didn't even bother replying as he rolled his eyes. Seokjin then looked back at Jennie questionably, "Sorry, didn't see the right plaque then," pursing his lips, he grumbled, clearly displeased with feeling humiliated, "Should we discuss this at your office instead?"
◬kim seokjin 7 years ago
@son naeun "Mmm, as long as it entertains you," he held his hands up, smiling slightly in amusement, "Can't judge you." Jin lowered his hands back onto his lap, clasped together tightly. He shifted about on the table, nodding slightly, "Maybe you could check in with me before initiating something so suddenly to play it safe. Wouldn't want anything happening to you since it's your first stakeout after all. Seokjin rolled his eyes playfully, gnawing at his bottom lip for a moment, "Hopefully, nothing happens. Stakeouts are usually pretty boring and nothing exciting happens so we may be in the clear for this one."

"Thanks," he added, "It sounds way better." Jin nodded in confirmation, looking pleased himself, "Do you mind me calling you Nae then?" his gazed was locked onto her, his head tilted slightly to the side in wonder. "It seems like we'll be on closer level?" quirking one eyebrow up, he shrugged, "Just a penny for my thought." threading his fingers through his hair, pushing it back, revealing his forehead, his hair flopping back down to it's original place. "I try not to be stiff, good thing it's working." letting out a hum, he murmured, "Cold city vibe? Really? Eh, I try not to give that kind of vibe and yet it happens? Well, guess I can't help that, then." he paused, pondering on that thought.

"You seem a bit timid, but I wouldn't blame you, since you're kind of stuck with me for 10 hours."

@song ahri / you hadn't known, but i analyzed your every fragment of movement, studying you piece by piece through the one way mirror. neither was i content with this for a first in a case, you had portrayed an innocent attitude so far, but as a task member, this was a requirement.
alright, let me in.
/ i signal to the guard that latched himself over the handle of your room, revealing myself to your somewhat eased self though i figured you were wondering what the hell you've done to end up in such a place, settling in the presence of your countenance before tapping the end of the file to organize the stray papers, only to lay it flatly in order to meet visuals.
hey there, before we get started - want anything to drink or eat possibly ?

@◬kim seokjin 'All details enclosed, confidential until further noti -' Lustered orbs of hers glanced up at the abrupt shroud of a voice, recognizing that of her name, seemingly sourced from an individual she predicted was her assigned ally.

The first thing she was going to teach him was how to read the unawarding gold print that scanned, "Jennie Kim" as a plaque on the exterior of her office. The voice that dusted with huskiness delivered to her neighbor instead of his actual partner and thus she pressured her sleek knuckles against the in-betweens of the door hold, protruding her head, attempting to catch his attention, adding in a cough.

"Excuse me, Kim Seokjin - right?"

Her expression drew confidence, maturity radiated from her essence, posture never failing to keep up proper. She angled her cranium to feign superiority, again with the pride-high jazz but in reality, his previous hesitant voice earned him a second hand embarrassed chuckle. "I'm Jennie Kim,"

@◬kim seokjin Puffing his chest and craning his neck upward to express how unswayed he was. "Come now..." He returned, mirroring the other's smirk. "I'm not so petty as to degrade my wonderful companion... Could it be that you showed up early to see me?" Placing a touched hand on his chest, he gaped at the slightly taller male. "You didn't have to make up that excuse," he playfully punched Jin's shoulder and smiled darkly at him. "I'm so happy about our budding friendship, I think we should celebrate by spending the /whole/ day together. We have an assignment today and after, drinks on me. "

@❃jennie kim /i carefully cross my arms over my chest as i glare at the one way mirror, my reflection making me angry somehow - more or less because i seem a little riled with my hair astray in some places, eyes rimmed with a tired red and a slight smudge to her carefully done makeup/
/i was being accused of something - what it was, i wasn't quite sure since my line of job was legal, whether people liked it or not, but it is what it is, and i still can't quite grasp what's going on here/
/my tongue carefully dances against my lips every now and again as i wait for someone to come back in, trying to pull some kind of information out of me, even though i know damn well i won't be giving you or anyone else any kind of information that you might really be looking for - after all, i'm as innocent as innocent could get/

@◬kim seokjin "What I do is entertaining to me. Most of the time I'm tinkering with things, trying to find puzzle pieces that fit." When it gets frustrating, she takes breaks. It's not like her job was particularly tolling, it's just that with the comments turned toward her and the urgency, it's a lot of stress on her mind. For a while, Naeun had briefly wondered what she would be doing had she not chosen the life of 'fighting criminal activity'. She thought, maybe she'd be a doctor, or a lawyer, or some lame, high paying job that her parents probably wanted her to have. But at the same time, she couldn't see herself doing any of those things. Naeun knew that she wanted to be a part of what the FBI called the 'greater good', from a young age.

Hopefully, they'd make this fun. Naeun wasn't sure how long she could sit still in front of this screen and just.. watch someone. When she was working it was fine, since her mind was trying to fit things together. But here and now, she needed to wait before she could get to work. "Basically," She sighs, fingers rubbing against her temple as she turns her head to peer at Seokjin, an embarrassed grin taking over her features at the fact that Seokjin was basically a glorified babysitter. "I promise I won't cause any trouble. Or, well, try to. No guarantees." It's not like she was a troublemaker, it's just that she could never be too careful, especially since this was her first stakeout.

"I'll call you Jin, then." Naeun racks through her mind for any nicknames she might have accumulated over the years. "Nae, Eun, Nana, Eunnie, Naeunnie... Any one of those will do. Though, I won't mind if you just call me Naeun. It's not a particularly long name, so a lot of people just opt to go with it." Naeun tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, turning on her stool so she's facing the man completely. "You don't seem like a stiff person. But I guess if one didn't know you, they could guess you were. You do kind of give off that cold city vibe, you know?"
