@sarah hyland It had been a little while since the knight and prince pair had moved to the town of Rigbarth, so Junhui felt like he was learning the ropes of small town life, even just a little bit.

The prince had a book in hand, sitting one one of the benches of the great tree plaza, it seemed to be one of the common places for people to come and enjoy a good book during nice and warm weather like today. Junhui could feel the small breeze as it rustled through his hair, everything about the day had just been quite relaxing. Like nothing could go wrong.

Junhui ears had perked lightly hearing the voice of his knight trying to get his attention, Junhui must of gotten lost in another world as he didn’t realize he had already almost finished the book while just sitting there. “Hmm?” He hummed in response to the female, his brow furrowing a bit. He could tell that something was wrong. “What is it?” He had closed the book fully now and set it aside awaiting for the others response.

@wen junhui Every single day since Sarah arrived in Rigbarth with his highness, she had been stressed the absolute possible max. She thought keeping an eye on her prince in the capital was hard enough where there was literally danger lurking around every corner, but at least he was aware of it there. Jun knew to be careful and watch for dangers in the capital, so some of the stress was shouldered by him. In Rigbarth? It was like the prince turned into a completely different person. He wasn’t aware of the dangers that lurked here, and he wandered around like nothing bad could possibly happen to him. Sarah couldn’t catch a break. Maybe there weren’t swords at his back, but she had to watch for every possible rock that he could stub his toe on or every branch that could wack him in the eye. It was her job to make sure the prince was comfortable and safe. Hers alone. And she needed a break. She was glad to have it when Jun finally decided to give her the day off.

Since most of her time had been spent keeping an eye on the prince, Sarah had hardly had the time to make really good friends with anyone. Which wasn’t terrible today. It was the first day she had off in a while, and she just wanted to enjoy the little time she’d have to herself. It started with a trip to the general store, then the smithy. Once she had made a purchase on a new weapon, she made her way to the restaurant and decided to finish her day with a relaxing soak in the baths at the inn. By the end of it all, she could finally feel the stress leaving her body. Her muscles were loosening up, and her forever furrowed brow even started to relax.

Why? Why did she have to finish her bath at that very moment and make it to the bottom of the steps of the inn at that time? If she didn’t have to see what she saw, she could have enjoyed a relaxing good night sleep to finish off the perfect day. The stress, however, all came flooding back when she turned her eye to one of the rooms on the lower level. There he was. Toby. Jun’s SEED ranger of a boyfriend. Except he wasn’t with anyone that Sarah recognized, and he certainly wasn’t with Jun. No, no, no. He was with SOMEONE, and he had his tongue in this someone’s mouth. Of all the things Sarah could attempt to protect her prince from, a broken heart wasn’t one of them. It was her biggest fear because it was the thing that she was powerless against, and she knew there was nothing she could do that would protect her prince from the pain this would inevitably lead to.

Without a word, she slipped out of the Inn. She knew just where to find Jun, as the Great Tree Plaza was one of his favorite places to visit. She found him sitting on a bench, and she approached. “Your High—“ Old habits die hard. “My Lord,” She said with a heavy heart. “I have some news to report.”
