fynian washed his hands as he entered the kitchen. being a cook for the royal meant that he had to be up before they were awake so that their food could be ready, so he’d often be here quite early. he didn’t mind being in this room often though as it was a comforting space for him and brought back happy memories of his mom. as he grabbed an apron and slipped it on, he was reminded of her again - a small smile on his face. he tied it up around his waist and got some ingredients.

fynian’s specialty had always been baking - whereas he would often leave the cooking to the other chef. he had decided to make some fresh bread this morning. the counter was now full of ingredients - including some flour, some eggs, some butter, some yeast, some sugar, some milk, some sweet ingredients to make a raisin and cinnamon bread and some other ones to make some milk bread and some italian herbs one.

he hummed as he began mixing in the ingredients and covered the bowls with towels to let the dough rise up. as it was rising, he was preparing some chocolate chips and macadamia nuts cookies, humming and swaying his hips a bit.
