@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ 'As are you,' he answered softly, 'the most gorgeous person in the kingdom.' It sounded cheesy, but to klarion, he most definitely was. He melted under the contact, closing his eyes. 'I was happy you were there.. your presence alone just.. made everything so much better,' he mumbled, eyes opening to gaze at him softly. 'You should have but.. You're still mine in the end,' the raven smiled, returning the kiss gently. 'I love you too, Addy..'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus smiled and looked up at his long time crush who was now to be wedded together. He smiled, caressing his cheek gently "you're so gorgeous.." he said softly, rubbing his thumb over the other's cheekbone. "Well.. you were all I wanted and needed, I was happy to be by your side at any given moment" he said, a soft blush dusting across his cheeks at the kisses and the nudging "And I really should have, I apologize I waited this long to ask" he said, smiling and leaning up to press a sweet kiss to the other's lips. "You're.. precious. I love you Klari, a lot.."

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ The raven hadn't expected anything to go the way it did but maybe he should stop expecting anything at all. He was thrilled, shifting around to look down at his long time friend before nuzzling into his palm, cheek gingerly rubbing against the soft skin. 'Don't thank me,' he mumbled, placing his hand over the latter's, 'I should be thanking you for staying by me for so long.' Laying on him, he was happy to press little kisses around his face before nudging their noses together. 'I wanted you to ask me before I ended up in a situation like this,' he whispered a little shyly, 'I know.. I was oblivious to how you felt.. and maybe it's because I didn't want to notice anything because I would notice something that told me you didn't feel the same way.'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus bit his lower lip lightly as he waited for the other's response. When he looked up and saw the smile on his face, a small huff of air left his lips, his eyes widening as the other joined him on the ground "I- oof" he muttered, catching the other in his arms. He wrapped his arms around Klarion's waist, his eyes widening a bit more as their lips met. He returned the kiss lovingly, his arms tightening as he fell back onto the grass, bringing the other with him as he let out a soft laugh "thank you klari for giving me the chance" he said, cupping his cheek gently and looking up at the other in a loving gaze

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ Klarion watched him and waited for the reaction to his words, biting back a soft smile. 'If you want to marry me,' he mumbled, trailing off until he was quiet. He did his best not to chuckle as the paper was tossed aside, his gaze following as he knelt down and he finally couldn't hold back his smile. The raven shifted to join him on the ground and pulled his hands back, tossing his arms around the latter's neck. What he did next, he hadn't actually thought through, but he wasn't really concerned about it; he leaned in, capturing the latter's lips in a loving kiss, knocking him back onto the grass with a soft laugh. 'Of course I will, Addy.'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus bit his lower lip lightly at the other's reaction, not knowing what to do. He watched Klarion in silence, trying to figure out what he was thinking but the next set of words coming out of his mouth startled him to no end. Blinking a little to get his thoughts together, he bit his lower lip again. "Ignore the piece of paper, they can't force you to do anything, especially when it's something big as settling with someone for.. a very long time.." he said as he tossed the paper aside and stepped closer to the other. He got down on one knee, taking a hold of one of his hands gently "Klari, would you.. marry me? I promise to make you the happiest being on the planet and keep you safe and feeling loved at all times..."

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ Staying silent, the raven had more than enough thoughts bouncing around in his head and the overwhelming feeling was putting him close to wanting to throw up. Klarion knew what he should have done and it was fight for his freedoms but he couldn't do that without causing a lot of unwanted trouble and the last thing he needed was Dove on his for doing such a thing. On the other hand, it wasn't that bad - he was upset with how the latter handled it and maybe he was going to have a mild issue with it for a while - but was it so bad? Frowning, he shifted his weight and let his arms fall with a small sigh. 'Then ask me,' he mumbled, a little surprised with his own words but he didn't mean it any less, 'ask me to marry you.'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus took a deep breath and wrinkled his nose "Yes I would jump at the opportunity if I had the chance to.. be yours.. to make you mine.. But no, I'm not willing to do that in the expense of your happiness." he said, letting out a shaky breath "I got a little too far into my head at this. I was focused too much on what I wanted, and not what you thought and I'm sorry Klari.." he said, looking down defeatedly "No, this isn't any less scary than rejection.. and I'm sorry, I'm not going to force you to marry me, no. As much as I.. like you and would like you to be mine.. I don't want to lose you completely by making you marry me when.. you don't want to" he said, letting out a soft sigh.

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ 'You literally just said you'd jump at the opportunity!' He snapped, turning on his heel to face him, 'how do you expect me to take that? It wasn't 'hey, I would like this but if you don't, we can contest. No, it was you grasping at the chance of something without considering if I wanted it, too.' Klarion furrowed his brow as frustrated tears began to build, something he wasn't very happy with. 'You're standing here saying you were afraid of rejection.. so, what? Being in a marriage with something who loathes you because it was forced on them would be better? Agreeing to something without caring what I wanted or how I felt is a better idea? And how would you feel if that's how it went..? If I started hating you? Because I'm pretty close to it right this second.' His arms came up to cross over his chest, eyes narrowing at the latter and he couldn't shake to icky clenching his heart was doing. 'You are supposed to be my trusted advisor. I came to you because I was scared and I didn't like the idea of being forced to marry my best friend,' he hissed, 'so, are you happy? Is dealing with this less scary that rejection? Possibly losing me entirely because you've made it seem like you're perfectly fine forcing me to marry you?'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus bit his lower lip and shook his head "never said it was. It's more of my fault for not realizing or knowing that you.. were pretty much pre-occupied with everything around you.. to notice my feelings for you" he said, a small sigh leaving his lips "I was just being open about what I felt, doesn't mean I'm okay wtih taking your freedom away and letting people sign your name off into a marriage you had no idea about.. All I'm saying is, I will do everything to make sure you're happy. And if that means you'd like to contest and not let this happen right now, I will follows your words. I don't particularly care about what other people thing, what I think.. what I want.. but all I know is that I want to make you happy." he said, following the other back to the palace. "I'll always be on your side klari, no matter what other people say or make you do. And I'm sorry I made it sound like I was okay with forcing you to marry me and what not, I don't want to force you into anything.." he said, rubbing his face in his palms "I got a little too ahead of myself, I'm sorry.."

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ 'So, it's my fault?' He mumbled, deflating further and looking away, feeling like he'd ed up now, 'you spent spent of that time with me and never noticed I don't tend to notice those things..? How often did I skip class to go stare at grass, Adaeus? You think I noticed what others around me did that often..? I knew you were there and I talked openly to you.. but, it's my fault now for not noticing you had feelings for me..?' Klarion frowned deeply. 'If I make sure they know I will tell the people of the kingdom of this ploy, I have a feeling they'll listen,' he answered, point blank, having expected at least a little back up on the fact it was an arranged marriage. 'You're okay with putting me in this situation because you were afraid of rejection? How do you think I feel right now..? Better yet.. is this better? Is it better to have this paper, right here, saying that I have no choice but to marry you, instead? You.. are okay with my choice being taken away because of your own feelings? I trusted you to tell me this /wasn't okay/.. not that you're okay with someone else signing my name for something I did not ask for.' The raven wasn't sure how to feel, on one hand he felt betrayed and hurt and on the other.. he felt nothing. 'I can't.. believe you would be okay forcing me to marry you. I trusted you, Adaeus.. but you seem just as okay taking my freedom away as they do,' he whispered, bringing a hand up to immediately wipe away the tears as they formed, 'and congratulations, had you spoken up.. You'd have known that I had feelings for you to.. before I knew you would side with them being /forced/ to marry you.' He shook his head, turning on his heel to head back to the palace, a few silent tears falling.

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus bit his lower lip and tilted his head "I'm sure I haven't hid any of that since.. we were at school.. when you asked me to tag along when you paid a visit to the animals in the forest? Or the moments when I decided I wanted to follow you to a place I barely know of.. just to make sure you're safe? Why.. did you think I did all that? I honestly thought I've been pretty clear on how I felt about you.." he said, taking a deep breath. "The point is.. is there even a point to contest? Are they really going to listen and consider? If Dove wasn't able to do anything about it, can anyone?" he asked, a soft frown on his lips. "And yes, I can't.. couldn't have been honest with my feelings all this time because.. I was afraid.. I didn't know what you felt and I was afraid of being rejected. But if it was.. someone else.. I probably would have tried to contest.. and done my best to try and stop it.. but then again I guess that would make me very contradicting.."

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ 'It's supposed to represent that a royal can fall in love with whoever they want, not be forced to marry some other royal,' he answered with a small nod, 'they decided it was easier to do.. with someone someone else that still couldn't disagree.' Klarion frowned a little, shifting his weight and wondering just how the latter was going to respond. He hadn't expected him to back down so easily but as he went to speak, he was cut off. The raven didn't know what he was expecting when he brought him the news but it most certainly wasn't a confession and he didn't really know how to respond. 'You would.. rather be forced to marry me than to have been honest with me?' He mumbled, feeling just a tad upset, 'you really.. think its better to just.. let this happen? You could have done that on your own had you told me how you felt.' Stepping back from him, Klarion felt rather defeated in the situation, not only because he'd been oblivious to the latter's feelings but because he felt cornered. 'You should have told me.. not waited until everyone else decided I was to be forced into a marriage. What if it had been someone else?'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus's brows knitted as he read the paper, looking at the other in a puzzled expression "I.. don't understand how htis is.. supposed to help.. a prince and a royal advisor..?" he said with a soft frown "I.. don't think contesting would do much good though. It's probably better to.. go with it.. and hope for the best.." he said, looking own at the paper once again then up at the other "To be completely honest, I've had a crush on you since we were.. I don't even know how old. And it's been.. my dream all along.. to be yours, to have you as mine.. and now that I'm.. given the chance, I'm kind of.. happy and excited to see what it brings.. but you're here wanting to contest.." he said with a slight frown. "I can make you happy, I want to make you the happiest in the world and I've given a chance to. So no, I am not.. willing to contest and lose a possible opportunity, Klari.."

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ His eyebrows pulled together a little as he watched the latter read the paper, frowning. 'Dove was the advisor involved.. he said he did everything he could for it to be stopped but.. with how the people are criticizing the royal marriage arrangements.. they said it would be best to be you and set it up like this..' he answered, looking around the park. Klarion didn't know how he was supposed to react, considering he agreed to take the position but he couldn't do much about it. 'We are to be married and.. I don't know what to do. Should we contest..?'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus smiled and tilted his head "I know.. I've just gotten used to that" he said, blinking when the other hugged him close "Is everything okay?" he asked, hugging him back tightly. "Oh? Most horrible news?" he asked, tilting his head as he looked at the other "I.. wasn't aware of anything different or anything that happened recently? What's up?" he asked, squinting at the piece of paper before taking it "Mh? What is this..?" he asked as he began to read the words on the paper with a small thoughtful frown "what...?"

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ Being so lost in his own world, the raven nearly flinched out of his skin at the sound of his name, eyebrows pulling together. 'You know you don't have to call me that,' he commented, shaking his head a little and showing a small smile. He was quick to make his way over, tossing his arms around his friends neck and hugging him close with a deep sigh. 'I got the most horrible news this morning,' he began, pulling back just enough to look at him, 'I don't know if you've gotten word yet, I'm aware Dove was part of the negotiation.. I'm assuming you haven't heard due to how calm you are?' Studying him briefly, Klarion stepped back to pull the paper from his back pocket, holding it out to him. 'I think.. you should read this, Addy.'

@♖✹ ᴋʟᴀʀɪᴏɴ ʟᴏᴄᴋʜᴀʀᴛ Adaeus blinked a bit in confusion at the note left by his forever crush and his friend. He wanted to meet him? At the park? His heart skipped a beat thinking about what the reason could possibly be. He had found him at parks before, watching in awe as Klarion talked to the critters that would crawl on by or the birds that occasionally flew and sat on his shoulders. In fact he had drawn sketches and full paintings of the said scenery. Maybe he just wanted to be like one of his childhood days, spending leisure time at the park. Whatever the reason was, Adaeus was beyond excited to be able to see him. Taking a deep breath to calm himself down so he doesn't look too excited, he spotted the other pacing. "Prince Klarion?"

@✹ ᴀᴅᴀᴇᴜs ᴛɪᴛɪᴀɴᴀ Pacing.

All he could do was pace, sweeping up the leaves and stirring them with his cloak after every movement. What was he supposed to do, exactly? Logically, he knew he was supposed to be angry at Dove for putting him in such a situation but at the end of the day, he agreed, even knowing the consequences. Marriage was never something that really crossed his mind once he was an adult, finding it mostly unnecessary and a lost cause for him. The moment the new order was put in front of his face by his best friend, he felt like everything was crashing down around him and he had no choice but to go with it. He couldn't deny a royal order, prince or not but he couldn't stand up and shatter everything Dove and himself had built with their lies. He didn't even want to know what would happen to them if anyone found out. Having left a note for Adaeus, he felt as though the best place to meet was as far as he was able to go. How would his friend react to the news..? He'd confiscated his copy of the paperwork, wanting to present it to him, himself.
