[Event & Activity Check Runs 02/10/18 - 03/10/18]
[Read this entirely, please don't just skim it over!]
A mandatory ball is being hosted. There will be a total of three rooms added for the event; two for rping and one where starters will be posted (rooms will not be available until 2/10/18). All members of the Dome must attend, this is not only the first event but also the first activity check.
The point of this Ball is to get everyone socializing [despite the less-than-friendly theme of the role play] so that people can start rping with those they have not before, and no one feels awkward trying to start a plot with someone. The theme is simple, everyone has to make an appearance at the Ball, so your first post can be your character's entry or maybe their thoughts while grabbing a bite to eat, etc etc. You'll post a starter to the main Event room to no one in particular and wait for someone to address you (in one of the rping rooms), and thus you'll begin rping!
Everyone must respond to at least one person's starter, regardless of whether or not someone has answered yours, this is part of the activity check. Try to answer someone you are not currently rping with, that's the purpose of the event after all. So after posting your own starter take a look at the ones already posted and see if there is someone you're interested in answering then do so! There is no limit to the amount of people who can answer a starter [for example if CL answers my starter, that doesn't mean it's taken and you can't answer it as well, we encourage multiple rping!]
Admin Mir will do his best to try and answer everyone's starter post with the expectation that everyone will try rping with more than one person [come on, you can handle at least two, right?]. Keep the OOC chatter out of the rooms please, there will be several of us using the rooms at once in the beginning so it's going to be a little chaotic. Use the OOC room to discuss your thoughts on posts and what not.
We hope everyone enjoys this first event it should be a lot of fun and a great ice breaker to help set the tone of cooperation for our future events. More info will become available on 2/10/18.
