Oh, no! Looks like a faculty member in the chemistry department had one of their experiments go wrong! While trying to build a weapon that switches people's powers the object exploded - thankfully while no one was in the classroom - and now the effect has spread throughout the entire school! Students and staff alike have woken up to find that their normal power has been replaced with someone else's! No one knows how long this is going to last, but for now they should probably figure out who's power they have so they can learn to control...it...ah, the groundskeeper's shed is already on fire. Looks like there'll be a few mishaps along the way, so try not to destroy the entire school until everything's fixed?
OOC NOTE: Hello, and welcome to our first event! If you have not already done so, and would like to participate, please comment on the announcement linked here (comments on this announcement you're currently reading will not count). This event is supposed to last around five days (Wednesday to Sunday / Thursday to Monday - depending on time zones) which should give you enough time to get at least a little bit of roleplaying in! We mentioned badges and things earlier, yes? The only way you'll recieve one during this event is if you actually start a thread with the person you've been paired with (if your partner doesn't end up responding, don't worry - as long as you made a post, you'll get the badge!). Participants will also receive 50 points which they can use towards our shop (which will be updated after the event closes). Again, don't stress too much about this event, as we're treating it more like an ice-breaker and a way to get people to interact on IC terms! If you have any questions or concerns about the event, please contact an admin!
Each pair is someone who's had their powers switched, so for example: if Ryujin & Yeji had been paired together, Yeji would wake up with powers of Ice & Fire Manipulation, and Ryujin would wake up with the power of Gravity Manipulation. Ice & Fire Manipulation was originally Ryujin's, and Gravity Manipulation was originally Yeji's. It's up to each pair to plot with each other how their characters will react, and what they do!
