Strike System (I know you're sick of hearing about it, me too)

Hello once again,

I am unfortunately writing in regards to the blog post that is painfully obvious about this roleplay. As you all know, we have produced a strike system nearly a month ago to ensure the comfort of all roleplayers and to be sure that admins are condemning said actions properly. With this system, we hoped that we are able to warn those that may typically break rules or change things of the roleplay for their own benefit, that what they have done is wrong.

After a first strike, the admin team honestly should not be able to find a reason to produce a second strike.

We have implemented this system as a warning and to make sure that roleplayers have a chance to right their wrongs and continue to roleplay without such a problem! But sadly, it seems not all have viewed that as fair (judging from the posts made). Some believe that the admins are playing on favoritism or because they want a person removed.

If it were that simple, we would not have such a system in the first place, as if we "dislike" a person, we could easily delete them with no hesitation. (Which is not allowed, and this system is enforced to make sure such things do not happen, though we cannot prevent those who leave after being given strikes from saying such things.)

Mistakes happen all the time, but mistakes do not happen without consequences. Even the admins are not saved from these consequences, as two have already been given their own strikes or have been spoken to before the system had been made!

When it comes to the strikes being made in private, it is to save those from the embarrassment of others knowing that they are in trouble. I would think it is not a good feeling for the whole roleplay to know you have done something wrong and are being penalized, thus this system is private. This is also why deleting the PMs will earn a new strike....this is the only evidence that we have of your strikes and how many you earned...

Unfortunately, I have a terribly good memory over unimportant things like this and will notice if my pm does not exist. The admins also communicate with each other about such matters.

Fortunately enough, we have only had 5 people since this has been in place be given strikes. Some have never been spoken to again due to understanding what they did was wrong, and others had continued their actions.

The admin team does not want any of you to feel that you are uncomfortable because of this system. Thus, we are taking a tally as to who finds it fair or unfair.

Please comment below with "Yes" or "No"

Yes: I agree that the strike system is fair.

No: I think the strike system is unfair.
