greetings and congratulations on making it this far!

firstly, we would like to thank you once again for joining us and we hope that your experience here has been enjoyable thus far. we strive to make this roleplay enjoyable for everyone involved and we are grateful for the support we have been receiving from each and every one of you.

without further ado, we are pleased to announce our newest additions for the roleplay: the miscellaneous tab and the updates room under the information tab. the miscellaneous tab will mainly be used for character building, and therefore everything posted in the rooms under this tab will be strictly in character. this is meant to be a way to take a break from threads and other ic interactions and still develop your character (with that being said, we still want you to interact with others whenever possible!). we have two rooms filed under this tab so far:

1) diary ― we have noticed that many users have expressed interest in writing a diary/journal for their character, so we decided to open a room for you to post your entries here! this is not mandatory and you may post at your own pace. entries do not have to be chronological and past entries (e.g. entries written before the outbreak) are also allowed! please note that no one is able to see your entries and vice versa unless otherwise agreed upon. keep ooc knowledge separate from ic knowledge.

2) musings ― this room is made for you to post your ic commentary on the rp's events. for example, if your character is suspecting that someone in the public channel is infected but cannot say it for some reason, you may post their thoughts here. you may keep your posts as short or as long as you want. do not post ooc commentaries here; the ooc room is there for you to do so. again, no one will be able to see your character's thoughts and vice versa.

last but not least, the updates room will be used for the admins to post updates regarding the roleplay, including but not limited to: new features/rooms, events, rule updates, etc and therefore we recommend checking this room frequently. do not post in this room if you are not an admin.

the information posted here will also be made available in the features room under the information tab in a short while. acknowledge that you have read through the announcement by commenting "ooc knowledge =/= ic knowledge" + your character's full name. if you have any questions, please comment them down below!
