ello everyone and welcome to Rising Star! Thank you for joining us in our revamped grand opening. We will be holding a festival event to get activity going before the next promotion cycle / comeback season.
This event is intended to be a casual fun icebreaker for EVERYONE in the roleplay to interact together, not just performers. Read below for more details!

During the festival you will be allowed to do any style of performance or song you choose on stage; Singing, dancing, instrumentals, etc. Your occupation does not matter as long as your character has the official talents to perform.
You may work solo, in a duet, and/or in a group of 3+ members. Trainees and idols from either company are allowed to work together as well as those who do not belong to any company but have talents (for example, a fan who has dance talent or actor with vocal talent).
A maximum of 3 performances per character are allowed as long as they are different from each other. For Example: You may have 1 solo, 1 duet, and 1 group performance, but you may NOT have 2 solo performances.
If you sign up to perform then you are expected to make an IC post in the Stage Room + link a video of your chosen song / performance if desired. You may use whatever POV or length you want. If you are working in a duet or group, you are encouraged to interact together and/or have a thread for your IC performance posts.
Once admins close the stage, no more performance posts will be allowed and we will open a poll for the public to vote on their favorite performances. The poll will be open for 48 hours. Afterwards, admins will tally up the total votes and those with the most votes will win special rewards as listed below!
- REMINDER (!!) Performances are optional and NOT mandatory. However, participating in this event will greatly improve your chances of earning a debut and/or comeback if you are a trainee or idol.

1st Place Winner: The performance with the most total votes will receive the following . . .
- The opportunity to produce, release, and promote 1 official song in the upcoming promotion cycle (if a duet/group, you will all work on the song together).
2nd Place Winner: The performance with the second most votes will receive the following . . .
- Featured as the spotlight Artist(s) of September and given publicity from your company.
3rd Place Winner: The performance with the third most votes will receive the following . . .
- The opportunity to perform again on the Music Bank stage in the upcoming promotion cycle.

If you would like to sign up to participate in the festival performances, please comment on this announcement with the following format:
01. Your Character Name.
02. Solo, duet, or group. If you have a partner or group members, please list their character name(s).
03. Song/Performance + Original OOC artist.
Be sure to use the format individually if you are signing up for multiple performances and/or multiple characters you own.

You may sign up at any time before or during the event, but the final deadline for signups will be September 23rd 2023.

- Participation in this event, including any stage performances, are OPTIONAL and not mandatory.
- You can use any POV for stage performances or event threads. Feel free to use the rooms under the Events tab like an open IC lounge OR have 1-on-1 threads however you please.
- After the event has ended, we will allow an extra 48 hours for all event threads to wrap up before we officially close the event rooms.
- Any participation and winnings will be taken into consideration for future evaluations and rankings.

comebackS : We are preparing for a promotion cycle solely for our currented debuted groups and idols to release comebacks. Admins will reach out to you either in your Idol Group PM or your individual character PM if you are a soloist to discuss comebacks AFTER the event ends.
New groups or idols will NOT be debuting during the upcoming promotion cycle. This is because we want trainees to take their time settling into the roleplay and gaining activity before we rush debuts. Be sure to make connections and threads that are related to your career. We encourage you to practice, train, and generally focus on your character's IC skills. Admins will notice which trainees are more invested in their careers through such IC activity.
New groups or idols will NOT be debuting during the upcoming promotion cycle. This is because we want trainees to take their time settling into the roleplay and gaining activity before we rush debuts. Be sure to make connections and threads that are related to your career. We encourage you to practice, train, and generally focus on your character's IC skills. Admins will notice which trainees are more invested in their careers through such IC activity.
ACTIVITY : Remember that inactivity is set to 10 days. You can post in the IC lounge, Group Chat, on social media, or participate in the event to gain easy activity on your character(s).
COMMENT : Please comment below "(Your Character Name) has read this announcement" and whether or not you plan to participate. Don't forget to post your signup comments below using the proper format if you wish to perform on stage.
