Dearest Esteemed Members of the Ton,

As the winter frost begins to thaw and the gentle breeze of spring sweeps across our lands, it is with great pleasure that I announce that preparations for this year's upcoming social season are underway. With it comes an opportunity for us to once again extend our hands in friendship to our foreign friends.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Works, the capital will be opening our gates once more. After the tremendous success of last year's trade season, which saw the bustling streets of Hanseong filled with vendors, merchants, and tourists from neighboring lands, we have decided to extend this opportunity to our international partners once more. This not only allows us to showcase our victory and strength after the war but also to share our success with our neighboring friends, fostering stronger ties and a sense of camaraderie among nations.

Picture the vibrant streets bustling with activity, lined with stalls selling a variety of goods, from exquisite silks and ceramics to aromatic teas and spices, as international tourists mingle with local vendors, each offering their wares with pride. The air will be filled with the sounds of bargaining and laughter, creating an atmosphere that is both exciting and welcoming.

In addition to opening our gates once more, we shall host a flower festival as a warm welcome to our foreign guests and a joyous celebration for our citizens. The Hanhoe Gardens shall be transformed into a tapestry of colors, adorned with blossoms of every hue imaginable. It shall be a sight to behold, a testament to the beauty of spring and the resilience of our nation.

Esteemed bachelors and bachelorettes are encouraged to partake in the age-old tradition of exchanging flowers with their person of interest, while couples are invited to express their affection by gifting blooms to their loved ones. Let the Hanhoe Gardens be a place of romance and enchantment, where hearts are stirred by the beauty that surrounds them.

As we prepare to welcome our international guests, let us do so with open arms and gracious hospitality. May the spring flower festival serve as a harbinger of the joy and camaraderie that awaits us in the upcoming social season. Let us come together as one community, united in celebration and anticipation of the blessings that the future holds.

two; a courier npc has been added. during the duration of the flower festival, you may send a flower bouquet with a note to anyone of your choice and you are not limited to only one. these flowers will be delivered by the courier and be posted in [ post system ] every friday of the week. submissions for that week's batch will end every thursday. in order to participate, pm the courier with the form below:

Three; Temporary characters are back. Please head to the [ Westgate Customs ] room to find more information about requirements and reservations.

As per usual, we will be holding a thread check at the end of the event duration.

four; Submissions for the society papers will now be permanently opened, so that muns can submit gossip at any given moment. this is to ensure that we do not let anything slip through the cracks in the time between each new volume of the society papers. while muns will still be required to submit at least one piece of gossip after each major event, we hope that you will find the incentive to submit extra gossip if you know of it so as to give us more content for the society papers! the gossip padlet can be found here.

there is a courier npc that will do flower deliveries during the festival. submissions will end every thursday of the event and deliveries will be done via post systems on the following friday. the gossip padlet is now permanently open for submissions and the gates are now open for temp characters from neighboring lands.
