a little about the rp

To long-story-short this best I can, this rp takes place in a spirit realm called Nirvana and is run by twelve guardians based off of the Chinese Zodiac animals. It functions as a safe haven for spirits of both the living and the deceased. Spirits of living individuals are able to visit in their dreams, or will have out of body experiences where they can enter the portal to Nirvana. Spirits of the deceased are regular residents of nirvana and are given one last chance to redeem themselves for their past sins. If they succeed in doing so, they get to stay in Nirvana. If they fail, then they are sent to a place called Solitude for the rest of eternity.

That's the basic gist of the roleplay, and if you happen to have questions about it, don't hesitate to ask. I originally made this roleplay about a year ago (some time in april of 2017), but I still have a good enough idea of what I was going for. Also just know that no matter what, your character is a spirit or will be in spirit form regardless of what role you choose as it takes place in a spirit realm aka Nirvana. For the most part, at least.

role information

Below are the three main roles of the roleplay and all their descriptions. If you haven't read anything in this box, this is what you'll need to read to at least reserve.

Guardian — Those in charge of Nirvana. They help to guide spirits wherever they need to go, and grant them one last chance to redeem themselves. Guardians are based off of the Chinese Zodiac animals and work with spirits who were born in their year (ex: the Dog guardian works with spirits born in the year of the Dog) to personally oversee their progress with their goal.

Spirit — Those who reside in Nirvana. They are people who have passed on and are given one last chance to redeem themselves and make up for past sins. How and when they can do that depends on the spirit personally, but they'll also have the aid of the Guardians.

Dreamer — Those who have a special connection to Nirvana. No one really knows how they're able to do it (most just figure it's a blessing), but Dreamers are able to visit Nirvana in their dreams. Most often, they are unaware that they're in a spirit world, but sometimes out-of-body experiences occur, and they are able to roam freely among the spirits until they return to their bodies.
