something different

hello friends,, so i had a random thought that i wanted to do a murder mystery au bc you know,, it's me

the thing is though, this murder mystery au would prob be different because first of all: it kind of has foundations in d&d mechanics (dungeons and dragons if you don't know), and it will employ the use of a dungeon / game master (that's me uwu)

characters would probably have stats to help them solve the murder mystery (these stats being health, sanity, perception, and charisma) and depending on your character's stats, the evidence and clues may or may not be found uwu. basically, i'm going to try to make it as interactive as possible so the story not only affects your characters, but your characters affect the story as well! like d&d, i might also roll to see how events turn out (i.e., you get attacked by the murderer, and i'll roll to see what happens to you — if it's a six, you escape / kill the murderer, if it's a one, u in ded)

so yeah! that's kind of the premise of this whole murder mystery rp. thing is though, i can't be game master for a whole bunch of people, so i'd be capping it off at six players. first come first served! sad, i know, but idk if this would be a popular rp idea anyway so if it's just six people then less chances of it being a flop yay :D

also!! another thing. since this rp would obviously require commitment and i know we all have lives outside of rpr, i'll probably try to arrange sessions where every member is free so we can progress with the story line! outside of the story, you're free to create threads and stuff as per usual, and there will be an ooc chat obv to keep the hype up. honestly, d&d games take forever so if you're interested in participating, then don't expect for the story to finish in a month— it might take way more than that, especially if everyone is busy. but that way, we can pick it up again any time we have muse and stuff!

so yeah! im currently birthing a brain baby as we speak but this is just an interest check to see if anyone's,,, well, interested. i only need six people max anyway so xD lemme kno in the comments if this is something you'd like to participate in, and i'll open reservations soon if anyone's up for it!
