i know you are probably asking this : molani, what are you up to again?
well this time, i would like to notify you guys of a writer's discord server!
despite my short 2 years (hitting 2 years in feb 7th!) in rpr, i have been in countless roleplays and known so many amazing writers on this platform, some of which who still write in places other than rpr such as tumblr, ao3, aff, and wattpad. for myself, i wrote fanfiction before i even knew about roleplaying; but because of my hectic school life and so on, i used to stop writing for a whole 3 years and only managed to pick it up around october 2019 until now. my passion for writing was ignited again but sometimes it feels a bit odd - like i had to go through this stage where i had to explore with my writing style again and experience writer's block when i want to write something - not replies, but just anything.
and to be honest? to go through all that by myself is a bit lonely. i always wish that there is a place where i can share my stories and talk to others who also share the same passion with me; we all love writing and even though we know each other on rpr, i just couldn't reach out to more people when it's about writing something else other than threads and replies.
and thanks to erigom, she came up with the whole writer's dc server and i am blessed to have joined this place as one of the very first few people. we are still a small community here, and we might not seen each other before on rpr, but one thing for sure is that we all love writing. we have writer bots to keep track with our projects, we can let the bot generate a challenge when you just want to write something, we can set daily goals for ourselves and even challenge your lovely friends in a sprinto where you compete as to who writes more words per minute (wpm) within a certain time limit. as a member of this server, i can tell you that it is so fun to be a part of it because such as yesterday, we uploaded so many projects and almost all of my work are [redacted] (hahaha nervous laughs). but then, it is so fun, you know, to really share that joy and passion with others and in turn improve together hand in hand, it is also why i decided to write so much in one blog just to tell you why i want to recommend this to you.
