I've decided to build the witch coven yuri rp!
The name of the coven is "Sisters of the Unseen Moon" and they derive their powers from a hidden red moon, visible only to witches of their heritage. There are other covens in the universe which draw their powers from other sources (such as demons, goddesses, ancient spirits, and more.), and they will factor in later on as factions players can interact with in the long run.
It's important to mention that over the course of the millennia, due to inter-coven unions and witches pushing the boundaries of their gifts, the powers the sisters may possess have widely diversified. Your characters will be the most exceptional daughters of the new generation, specializing in a certain kind of magic but all sharing the same core abilities to develop within the coven. (Examples are pyrokinesis, telekinesis, tranation, necromancy etc.)
It should take me a few weeks to build the complete setting, lore, and spellbook, but i've already selected the specialties the members can reserve now. As the admin, I will be playing as the fading Supreme as well as her cat. I will choose my player character's specialty from whatever is left from the list below.
Specialties and Descriptions (note that the descriptions are overly-simplified for the sake of brevity. you are welcome to do your research or consult me if you are curious to know more. the ones with an asterisk are ones i made up so they have longer descriptions.)
1. Mistress of Abjuration [ reserved by kamajii | park jihyo ] - protective or defensive magic
2. Mistress of Conjuration - creating matter, summoning creatures, or making them disappear
3. Mistress of Divination [ reserved by WuWuWu | fukutomi tsuki ] - revealing direct knowledge or insight, seeing through magic
4. Mistress of Enchantment - blessing or cursing a target, or imposing your will onto them
5. Mistress of Evocation [ reserved by themis | kim taeyeon ] - summoning elemental spirits or unleashing pure arcane energy
6. Mistress of Illusion [ reserved by purples | yoo jimin (karina) ] - manipulating the senses of people and creatures
7. Mistress of Potions* [ reserved by letiks | park sooyoung ] - skillfully crafting magical tinctures and poisons. because of the innate powers imbued in your songs, your potions usually have a longer and stronger effect that everybody else's in the coven. (for flavor, i recommend this specialty to a mun who loves to write poems/rhymes)
8. Mistress of Shadows* [ reserved by -dune- | huh yunjin ] - ability to travel through shadows and dreams (as they are the shadow of the mind)
9. Mistress of Sight [ reserved by crybebi | natty anatchaya suputhipong ] - ability to see visions or premonitions of the past, present, and future
10. Mistress of the Grave* [ reserved by Guarded | dove cameron ] - manipulating life energy (more than just a necromancer, you can create life force at will without having to sacrifice your own or another's)
11. Mistress of Storms* [ reserved by spearminty | bae sumin ] - it is similar to conjuration, except you have a sky-wide areal range. as such, you manipulate particles of the atmosphere to affect the weather. when you reach your full power, you will have the ability to conjure a full electrical storm. The current Supreme had this specialty in her generation.
12. Mistress of Tranation - ability to transform people, creatures, and objects
All in all, there are only 12 slots (including my player character). If you wish to reserve, please comment with your fc and your selection. I will then help you create your character before the roleplay opens. (:
Note:
The Supreme is the current and only Mistress of Time, a specialty inherited by her successor when she fades. It's the ability to bend reality itself by manipulating the flow of time. We can talk more about it when the rp opens and you choose to have your muse participate in the trials with the intention to be the new Supreme.
