hello! i've been off and on rpr for some time while life has been in the way, and have missed this platform! because i've been reading a lot lately, i wanted to bring some of the books here in an rp format! please comment which ideas you'd like to see or any of your own unique ideas too! i'm also open to private rping if any ideas grab your interest.

crescent city universe by sarah j maas, fae fantasy style with heavy lore. might mix with acotar as a hybrid rp.
dragon rider academy like fourth wing. (I don't think I've seen many dragon related rps here, but please correct me if I'm wrong!)
Harry Potter au that's set after Hogwarts/any of the wizarding schools. would love to make this as open to any faceclaims as possible

those are my three basic ideas for now, I might update this blog as more come to me, which will be reflected in the blog title. any input would be awesome!

idk crescent city as i’m not a big fan of sjm but her worlds were very interesting to me. also wasn’t a big fan of 4th wing BUT i love dragons and we need a dragon rider au very badly. i agree w tender that omitting the worlds will be helpful for people to join. i’d 100% join a dragon rider au!! a fae au maybe hh again idk anything about crescent city. i’m like rly busy rn but i looove these ideas so id definitely check it out!

hhhhh ok but i don't see why we can't do all of the above let's go crazy with magic, dragons, and faes ?? well i say that understanding that it helps to have a smaller world so everybody in the rp isn't all over the place but when it comes to fantasy on this site, i feel like users tend to spread themselves out across multiple rps instead of focusing on one rp where they can all get what they want out of a fantasy rp but aaaaaaaa that's gonna be so much gaslighting :thunk: :thunk:

but if there's anything know about this site is people will be too shy to join if they're not familiar with the source material so it'd be good to omit the source material (well, with harry potter as an exception) from the title and putting it in the description instead and focusing on getting people familiar with the worldbuilding

idk what crescent city or acotar are but adkfjgh just by the description i'm down p ing bad hAHAHA i think that's a good source to start with as inspiration and then mashing the dragon rider and harry potter aspects into the world could be pretty natural but idk the context of any of these books HAHAHA but i like the idea of having crescent city as the body of lore and extending it with the other universes, you know, for funsies

i think the fantasy rpers on this site as more likely to stick to a rp since there are so few fantasy rps that are active and those who are into fantasy rping are down ing bad for it lmaooo idk if the context matters as much as how approachable it is between aesthetics, lore, and community

Considering I posted a blog for a fourth wing rp(and am doing a priv w/ someone about it so I will also let them know this could be a thing), my vote 100% goes for that

oooooh! a harry potter au is actually coming that includes both hogwarts and the outside wizarding world! there was a blog for it if you’re interested! reservations haven’t happened yet.
