i absolutely did not see myself needing to make one of these posts, but so much has happened over the last couple of weeks that i feel now's probably the time to step back, regroup, and reassess.
this is not a goodbye from rpr! rather, it's just a bit of a break as i start to shift my focus onto other, more pressing aspects of my life. i'm kind of at that stage where, even though i don't mind living at home (and my mom has made it abundantly clear that i can stay home as long as i need to), i am inΒ desperateΒ need of my own space. at this point, it's really for my mental health. i've been mentally, physically, and emotionally burnt out for the last couple weeks now, and if i want anything to be done about it, i have to put on my big girl pants and crack down on it.
what this means going forward is the following:
1: i will not be joining any new roleplays for the time being. and if i do, they'll be casual, easy-going spaces that allow for slower activity.
2: i will not be taking on any private plots or roleplays for the time being. i'm already juggling a handful of muses elsewhere and would rather spend my time with the ones i have before anything else.
3: you may see me online from time to time, but this doesn't mean i'll be active anywhere. i'll likely just be checking in and then dipping again.
that being said, the roleplays i'm in/am considering joining are as follows: magicians, fabletown, click? clique!, golden fleece, wolfsbane, and possibly dreamyard. other than that, i will not be actively looking to join anything new, especially if it's very plot/activity heavy.
i can't say for certain how long this hiatus will last, but i'll be sure to occasionally pop in and keep you all posted.
