ANYWAY! join me and my two dilfs (?) in the white lotus as we spice things up (ic), get our hearts broken, or perhaps even rekindle old fires if you'd like! we're still in our soft launch era but everything looks super promising so far, with v interesting charas to plot with and connections up for grabs. so without further ado i present you mine:
1. kwon eunjae (fc: han seungwoo)
— a 29 year old paralegal who is staying as a guest on a reconciliation trip with his chaebol wife, whom he currently has a complicated relationship with. he was born into a lower-middle class family and had to work his way up, and still retains that mindset despite living a more than comfortable life now. while his personal problems have left him in a slump as of late, he's a friendly and sociable young man who seems like he cannot even hurt a fly. he generally gets along with people, and it's hard to not like him regardless. but his kindness can only take him as far, and with the societal pressure and family conflicts coming at him from different angles, it's only a matter of time before he ultimately crumbles with all his loved ones watching.
— i don't have any specific wanted connections so far for eunjae but i've kept his background as simple as i could, so he's fairly adaptable for now! if you want to start off with the usual friendship, one-sided rivalry/jealousy, high school sweethearts, etc. plot with enough flexibility to work with, this is your guy!
2. cheon yonggi / marcello cheon (fc: lee dongwook)
— a 39 year old front desk manager working for the white lotus. a jeju native who had to move abroad to england at a very young age and hadn't seen much of his hometown, his hatred for the establishment is rooted in the fact that his mother had lost her livelihood in the hotel's construction, as she previously ran a humble inn whose premises are now used for the resort hotel. that, as well as his troubled young adulthood, bred an ultimate desire for revenge against those who had wronged his family. he managed to land a job at the hotel as he decided that the best approach is to take it down from the inside, masquerading his vengeful self as a ditzy manager whom no one knows why he was even hired in the first place. he's willing to make sacrifices in pursuit of his goal—including a fiancé he'd left in england without a word.

╳ description: you don’t understand—one minute you’re happily engaged with yonggi and the next minute he calls it off and leaves you in england without a word. after months of trying to track him down, you find out that he’s back in his hometown, and is now working for the newly opened branch of the white lotus in jeju island, south korea. not long after, fate brings you to the very same hotel, but soon you discover that he is no longer the same person you were once in love with.
╳ notes: the country is negotiable, among many other things, but please discuss this with me (mikadzuki) before claiming!
if that doesn't interest you, yonggi is also good for plots with older characters (30+) in general — and these can definitely be on the messier side of things (in terms of drama and whatnot)! anything from ex plots to shady business, or even a lighthearted "damn front desk guy can't even do his job right" sort of exchange would work.
still unsure on what to do/join as? we also have plenty of character ideas and wanted connections to choose from!
