why do people announce their mood dropped?

i always just figured it was bc they wanted to say why they were leaving. like instead of just leaving, they'd be like "brb gotta go strangle a banana" but instead of strnagling a banana they say their mood dropped. idk man idk.

Perhaps it's because they have people they talk to on here who might worry if they're not here? Maybe they want someone to talk to about their problems sometimes?

idk people used to just say brb for a while or like poofs and does what they needa
now it's "mood's gone gtg" or "cant be here now feel like "
i get it but it gets kinda too much :-)

its because a lot of the time something on rpr makes their mood drop and they want to try to make the person/persons who supposedly made their mood drop feel bad about it

when they really couldn't give a lol
